Over the moon
The salesman asked what we were looking for I explained what we required I did say no reclining sofas.He showed us a lovely range of options. As we were deciding I sat on a sofa not realising it was a recliner! It was perfect. Sold and we picked a lovely colour.
The delivery men Rich and Dean were polite friendly and put the sofa together in no time.
Highly recommend this firm.

Pleasant experience had from attending the store in Staples Corner to receiving my delivery, the store staff was very patient and didn’t rush me in making a choice. I was kept informed about the delivery date and time and the delivery staff set up the sofas in no time. I would recommend.

Good service
Having shopped in-store and then ordered online, we found no issues with customer service. On the day of delivery, the tracking information was excellent. Delivery was smooth, although we would have expected the delivery guys to plug in and test before they left. Generally very happy with product and service.

They delivered on time were polite and quickly set up the sofa.

Disappointed with after sales
Disappointed with after sales. They couldn't deliver on due date because sofa was 'too heavy' and potentially 'too long'. They didn't even take the sofa out of the van. At point of sales access, ie the fact that there is no lifts was discussed. I then received an email to say sofa was delivered when clearly it was not. Had to phone to find out what was going on, because no-one was updating me, only to be told I might have to pay extra for upholstery, I have not been given details of any upholsters, i was just told i have to 'pay extra'. Unhelpful with after sales, told to read the fine print, quite rude...
Got another delivery date now but not sure if it will happen, unless I phone them not getting any updates.
Left me feeling sick not knowing if any other issues will be handled with customer care in mind, probably not...

I am very sorry to see that you are disappointed in the service so far.
I can see from the delivery report that the crew attended your address on 01/07/26 to attempt delivery however the furniture was deemed to be non-fit. The stairway was too small and there was no lift available to the 2nd floor for them to attempt another way.
I am sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
We have provided the details regarding an upholsterer service in your area to dismantle the furniture however I can confirm that a 2nd delivery attempt has been booked in first of all as requested.

Lousy company that Never gets back to you when you have a problem but there quick enough to take your money & give you NO customer service.

The store experience was nice (a bit overselling), but they said the sofas are gonna be delivered in 2-3 months, and there's been zero communication afterwards so far, except for 'the order accepted'. Hopefully, both will arrive at some point.

Unexpected £300 Charge – Aggressive Customer Service
I recently placed an order with Poltronesofa (Order No: S0058-1000503697).
I paid £129 for delivery and installation, as stated in my contract and on their official website.
However, I was later asked to pay an unexpected additional £300, which was never mentioned before signing.
When I questioned this, a staff member called from 020 8208 4090 and pressured me, even threatening to cancel my order if I did not pay immediately.
This behavior caused me significant stress. I am currently seeking resolution through the Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO).
I want other customers to be aware that extra charges may be claimed aggressively even after the contract is signed.

I am very sorry to see that you have rated us as 1* on this occasion and that you have been disappointed in the service from store.
Looking over your order document I can see that the delivery charge of £129 was applied to your order at the point of sale.
It is noted that your furniture was deemed as non-fit on the initial delivery attempt by the crew. If this happens then we can recommend an upholsterer however this is at an additional cost to yourself. It is stated on your order document that any fit issues at the property are a customers responsibility.
Please accept my apologies for any upset caused, It is noted that your complaint has been referred to the store so that they can contact you directly to discuss this.
