Called to amend some details. Got through the very quick and straight forward options and spoke to Thomas who helped amend the details I needed. Very friendly, efficient and informative. Made the call a pleasant experience.

I was very happy with the service i received in the past couple of days by the customer service team. They explained things to me about my pension in clear detail over the phone. I have spoken to two advisors and they were very helpful and polite on both occasions. Overall the service i received was excellent .

I spoke to a really helpful lady called Patience who guided me through the whole process. It was so easy for me to do with her help as I am not so tech savvy but she made it easy for me.

Call centre nightmares.
The call centre is woefully under staffed for the quantity of calls coming in. How the staff maintain such a professional attitude under such pressure is beyond me.
I spent 2 days and 3 hours on hold from 5 attempts to get half the information I required. As of 9am I shall endeavour to get the second half. Wish me luck.

I am still trying to get my pension…
I am still trying to get my pension transferred to another organisation. Scottish widows have caused me a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration. I am having to deal with this stress during my working hours. I was told different things by each advisor I spoke to and was also told different things to do in emails. I didn’t choose scottish widows but my previous workplace did. I would not recommend scottish widows to anyone
