ordered a scooter for my sons birthday in september took my money no scooter website is down big scam it is dont know to get my money back now 😡

Ordered a scooter two weeks ago and paid express delivery. Can't get in touch with them at all. Total scam, if you see this before you order then my advise would be dont order. I am trying to get my money back no answer on phone and website is down

I’m slightly worried now with this company I have ordered my son a scooter for Xmas I have emailed them twice no reply what so ever. And can’t even track the order through the text message.

I have also ordered an electric scooter and now their website isn’t working? I am really worried as I have emailed twice but no response!

Still haven’t received the scooter. Been over two weeks I’ve emailed them twice and still no reply. Not sure where to go from here.

Should I email them one more time and wait for a response or should I contact my bank.?

Bought a quad for my son.
Quad cones in bits so unless you are a mechanic, good lucky putting it together with the terrible instructions provided.

Pull start snapped on the first day. Contacted customer services who replaced it which was good.

After the first run, could bot get the quad started again. Tried to phone the company, no answer. Filled in a ticket on the website....no reply...sent an email....no reply.

Customer service/aftercare does not exist. Once they have your money they are not interested.
They are breaching your customer rights as though even you are entitled to a refund if the goods are faulty, they do not reply so you have no way of getting a refund or replacement.

Do not buy unless you want to spend £300 on a quad which will be left gathering dust in your garage as it doesnt work.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Scam to take your money, quads are an absolute death trap, no customer service after you’ve paid out and no refund!! Shocking, company needs to be investigated!

terrible service had a small repair to be done and ended up coming out worse off that what it went it. And try to contact them afterwards and wont answer the phone to me after care is a shambles. Avoid this company at all costs guys

Completely disgrace of a company. Sent out a quad for a minor which had been bodged and nothing out together correctly! Very very dangerous! Can’t get hold of support and refusing refund! DO NOT USE

Absolute joke never again will I purchase anything from yous. Over 2 weeks wait for parts to be sent out. Problem after problem with the bike. If yous made more of a reliable bike maybe your reviews wouldnt be so bad

Well where to begin at first I got an email to say that my bike had arrived. So I called scootercity to see where the bike was, and got through to a rude little boy on the phone telling me to just ignore the message, in a stroppy voice like I am supposed to know to ignore the email. I then a couple days later received the bike to my disappointment things were bent scratched pieces missing just an absolute shambles. I called them back again to be greeted with the same little boy from before I was fuming after a 15 second call with him, I just put the phone down and took the loss but I have advised everyone I know to stay far away from these rip-offs and I’m advising YOU to. Ps
I gave the bike to my neighbour For his kids and guess what broke in less than 24hours. Lesson of this story spend the extra £100 on a decent bike at least it will get some use.

I have read the reviews for this website and got worried my scooter wouldn't turn up. So I drove from Essex to Stockport which is 4 hour drive.
Went up stairs to the warehouse and met a gentleman he was very helpful and polite even though what I read is that they are all rude, but I had no issues other than the drive. He even sent a young lad to put the scooter in my car.
The scooter is brand new and works great no problems what so ever. Thank you scooter city 😊

Ordered a zipper as a sample this to order a further more. Paid for next day delivery but delivery never materialised and when called was given attitude and spoken down to by advisor. Escalated to a supervisor who called and apologised and confirmed delivery on the following day. Phoned the next day to confirm the whereabouts of delivery and told by the supervisor that their courier failed to collect it but despite that I was not contacted. Escalated the matter further to GM and to have the called listened to, was called back by the same first advisor who spoken arrogantly and was told that I been instructed by higher management to give you the refund and in other words P*ss off. Please note strictly avoid this business.

KEEP AWAY , ordered a quad and had it delivered looked lovely but very poor it went for 20 m would never restart or go again I contacted them ( had to email as phone number goes to a deliberately poor message) got advised to try certain silly things to try to start it again, as a non runner they suggested after 10 silly emails to return it but at MY expense from Cornwall to Stockport 😂 I delivered it myself but at the factory a chap appeared and asked if I was a customer or courier ( didn’t want to know when I said customer) the quad was taken onto a conveyor belt and disappeared.I then had an email saying nothing was wrong with it and they will send it back , I don’t want it I just want my money back but no joy as of yet DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY people, thanks Dave

Brought a zipper 1000w off road electric scooter from them item turned up defective i went through the hassle of returning the item in time for the 14 days return at great expense to me its been over a week since it was returned and im yet to hear from them about a refund

I have recently brought a quad 3 weeks ago from this place for my little boy who is 2 and it broke not even 24 hours after i had it delivered they wont take it back with out me paying for it and i dont see why i should as i paid for it delivering and how much of a disgrace it is not been able to ring them to speak to a customer service person i have also told them i will take them to tranding standards and there dont seem to care absolutly disgusting take your money and dont give a dam when there is heartbroken kids my next step is tranding standards but unsure if i will get anywhere but this company is a joke should have brought a second hand one probably of been better

I've spent thousands with Scooter City as a supplier and without a doubt it is the worst after sales support I have encountered. I have discontinued most of their items, however, their only saving grace is that their after sales is so poor I can charge extra to my customers for the privilege of a phone call or instant reply. I did expect this, so I had to forecast taking returns myself, but in some cases I can't afford to lose the money. This means I have to go through their after sales service, which I hate.

Also, it is actually illegal to state you have no refund policy in your product descriptions because of distance selling regulations, so I don't know what they are doing really. I'm not sure if it's just one guy or they don't care much.

There are plenty of alternatives out there guys. Our company is one of them.

ordered 3 mud guards for my grandsons quad bearing in mind a quad has four wheels,well they sent 3 for same side when i orderd 2 of 1 and 1 of another, sent mud guard back which cost me,promised to reimburse not heard nothing.sent me another mud guard and you will not believe it but they sent the same one i sent back.it took two weeks to send the wrong side again.avoid this company you cannot even contact them by phone.never use this company again.going to order from a better company.number i had of scooter city so they can deal with it /tickets/23460

Do not buy from this company,2 broken scooters after 4 weeks & hardly any use from them,these were birthday presents for my 5 & 6 year old grandchildren & these were only used when they came to visit us approx twice a week,After months of emailing them & them refusing the scooters back,i got onto trading standards who told me my rights,so returned the scooters personally,their report of the scooters was abused by users & too much weight, these are recommended for age 12+ so how they say these were misused after about 6 times of use by a 5 & 6 year old is rubbish , i bought these end of july & have been emailing this company since end of august,i have been totally misinformed by them , fobbed off & totally ignored,im not leaving this & will fight all the way to get my money back, trading standards,ombudsmen i have been onto & willing to go to court,these are cheap chinese imports that fall apart & not down to being misused or abused,i also purchased a new part as at 1st i was willing to try & repair it,they sent me the wrong part which i had to return & im still waiting a refund for this too,customer service & the whole company are a disgrace, i have also asked several times if the company belongs to an adr scheme again all emails ignored ,
