Gloves of bad quality
I bought a pair of gloves, thinking it would be quality coming from Salomon. After less than 10 uses, they already started breaking on the palm. It's a plastic material that is supposed to look like leather, so it breaks into small pieces that are left in nature. I stopped using them until I have sewed a piece of leather on top. It would be a waste of resources to throw them away..
Excessive Cost Cutting
The cost cutting seems to have gone too far.
I bought a pair of XT6’s two years ago, and they were well made & sturdy.
I recently bought a pair of new XT6’s.
I decided to send them back as their new ortholite insoles have less padding than a sheet of A4 paper.

I’ve been a loyal Salomon fan, but I’m extremely disappointed with these shoes. They’ve never been used on trails or asphalt, only for light mall walking. Yet, the sides are already breaking, even though the soles and uppers are completely clean.
Since they are breaking, I have no choice but to glue them. This affects models XT-6, XT-Wing, and ACS Pro. For shoes designed for hiking, this is unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I believe I deserve compensation for this serious quality issue.

I walk 5km to 10km day with my dog,the last 3 salomon Hike tenis a bought ,very poor ,Salomon Saliba I only use them about 20 times the vulcanized part ,just open holes in the front (sry if the correctc name is not vulcanized ,the black rubber in the front,the others Salomon X Ultra just fell apart after 8 months of use 1 or 3 times max a week,the last ones that I can still use are Salomon Xa Pro 3d V9 Gtx 3....so never again I will bought Salomon...
good brand with quality
salomon great brand for outdoor gear, shoes and jackets top quality. strong grip, comfy fit, last long. a bit pricey tho but worth it for hiking and running fans.
Fast delivery
I'm motivated to write this review based on the number of negative ones.
I ordered a pair of boots on a Saturday afternoon with express delivery and they arrived on time on Tuesday. The timeframe was 1 to 2 business days. If you consider they might have processed the order on a Monday morning then it took only one day to arrive.
Unfortunately, people don't usually leave good reviews unless prompted. This is not to "defend" the company, just trying to reduce the amount of anxiety reading many negative reviews can cause.
The boots are great, and since I’ve only had them for less than a day, I can’t comment on their durability, but the purchasing experience was satisfactory overall.

I bought a pair of X Ultra Gotex boots. After a few months of light dog walking, one boot started to leak. I sent them back under warranty and got a replacement pair. First time on in a wet field and both my feet are soaking wet. I read about the decline in quality of Salomon boots and now I'bve had it confirmed. How can Gortex even leak?? I will never buy another pair, it's so much hassle sorting things out when they go wrong.

Shoes broke after 1 weeks wear tried contacting customer service as I bought these in store and wouldn’t give paper receipt it was by email but didn’t get it so the shop worker obviously put it down wrong wouldn’t take a bank statement needed receipt for return I was then told walking around New York for one week on dry concrete isn’t suitable for the shoes baring in mind these were XT-6 goretex shoes so you can only wear them on carpet and not walking in them outside at all. Terrible customer service and rubbish products charging a price even primark shoes would last longer

I bought a pair of walking trainers and they were falling apart after 2 months light use. These are sold as premium trainers but the quality is very poor. I'm trying to get a refund.

I ordered a sport suit and shoes for hiking, but couple of thind that went astray here:
-first of all the delivere was late. like a week, and there was no notification
-second is the items themselves. They came in awful conditions, I undersatnd it is shipping, but I am not in another continent, as I know the company is headquarted in France, and I am in Bulgaria! Zero packing!

Products are great - avoid ordering online from their website. ONLY PURCHASE FROM A STORE or OTHER WEBSITES. They use UPS to deliver and they are AWFUL.

Really poor product, sense ride 5 - £120 less than a year old and not worn in any kind of conditions that could constitute the soles coming unstuck and the lack of waterproof. I tried to raise a ticket but was told to go back to store. Wouldn’t purchase again
Don’t expect any aupport or advice if out of warranty
Pair of boots, out of warranty but rarely worn, falling apart (outer parts of sole and an internal area too) and reported to customer services. Low mileage of boot clearly demonstrated by condition of tread. Met with a standard cut and paste response. No offer of compensation/repair or advice on repair, even though I specifically asked for recommendations on best glue to use to fix sole. Also found a review of a similar boot with exactly the same problem (experienced after a few days of use only), so clearly a fault in shoe which others have experienced

I’ve asked them to stop sending me emails and marketing and even threatened with reporting them to konsumentverket if they don’t stop. I keep getting emails and there’s no “stop getting emails” button in the mails. Reported them.
They have really lost all quality since being purchased by amer sports. This used to be a high quality Swedish brand but now it’s terrible.

PLEASE! Never order from this company; it's the biggest joke! I ordered hiking boots in July, which were never delivered, and it took me until yesterday, with constant emailing, to get a refund from their boneheaded customer service agents. I had proof that the item was delivered to a parcel shop and not my home address, and had been delivered back to them, yet they completely ignored all the emails and just saying they were 'investigating'. This went on for months until I sent them an email saying whatever issues they had were between themselves and the couriers, which they just ignored, but then they sent me the money back as a 'gesture of goodwill'. They also gave me a 10% off voucher! What a joke!
I honestly don't think AI will ever steal jobs at Salomon, as I don't think they could program a system to be as stupid and incompetent as the people that work there!!!
