A disaster.

On the Friday 3rd May , I ordered 3 runners, I paid £5 extra for next day delivery. Unfortunately the next day was Saturday , they do not deliver weekends !
I waited all day Monday but the runners did not arrive .
I phoned a Joe Bloomfield who apologised but said Monday was a Bank Holiday .He told me he would refund the £5 + £20 for my long wait.
My runners did not arrive until Wednesday at 8pm.
When I opened the parcel, they had sent one runner a completely different colour.
I phoned Joe Bloomfield, I said I was sending them back as I wasn't satisfied.
I was told I had to print off a returns label BUT I have no printer !! He said I would therefore have to pay for the returns myself.
A very kind lady at our library printed the label off for me as I couldn't afford to pay my own postage.
It is now the 20th May , and I have only just received my refund BUT no £20 for the trouble they have caused me.. I am 80 years old, and have never dealt with a company like it... Never again.

Misleading pricing

Misleading pricing. For years carpets have been sold in meters squared. The listings here say from £10, but thats not per meter squared or even a meter long, it’s for 30 cm thats just under a foot. Meaning even triple this price is still not a meter. The reviews on the web page are better than some on TRUSTPILOT.

First class speedy service

First class speedy service. They were happy to supply our hall runners in a personalised size. They acknowledged email with a telephone call to confirm our requirements. We were kept updated on the expected delivery date and time and items arrived as stated. Would highly recommend.

Dissapointed in colour & customer service

Just received our hall runner.good points easy to order & fast despatch / delivery.
Quality excellent unfortunately the colour is so far off its unbelievable.the website shows the malis brown hall runner in beautiful tones of yellow,gold with some darker tones & clear beautiful white lines either side.fantastic just what we required for our dark floor hall.
What arrived was a dull brown totally unlike what we thought we had ordered except for pattern.so checked out a few reviews & unfortunately this has happened to other buyers.
Why is the website picture totally different to the product that arrived ? Has it been digitally enhanced ? It's not even close to the colour we received.
REALLY DISSAPOINTED this cost us £96.
So glad we waited for the runner to arrive before buying the same runner ( but smaller) for the porch.the whole point was to brighten the hall up (& porch) unfortunately the colour is way off.
Really wish we could upload pictures of website picture & picture of what we received.
So Joe emailed to say that the images provided on their website are professionally taken with professional lighting & may not be the colour that all phones due to the contrast be as accurate to the website images.fair comment.
So we ordered another runner for the kitchen.when it arrived we knew immediately it was wrong.contacted Joe & organised a return.they sent me return forms to print out & attach to the return.the courier was superb she said to track the return to use the waybill return number.this I done & the return was complete & back with runrug.i emailed Joe to ask when the refund would be confirmed.he said they hadn't received the return & could I send proof ! This wasn't correct as he should have the same info as myself from the courier.so I sent him the time & date it arrived back to them.he emailed back to say he would inform finance & it would take up to 3 days for the monies to be returned.we had gone away for 4 days so had forgotten to check bank account.it wasn't until my wife asked me if I had checked the bank account that I did.NO MONIES/REFUND from runrug.i emailed Joe who replied with" really sorry about that the connection was interrupted & the refund was never completed"after emailing him again he said "he would escalate it with his manager to see why the refund wasn't completed".
Never heard anything back from Joe or his manager so will not purchase again from them.
Basically if you do send a rug back for a refund please check the refund has actually gone back into your account.we may have just been unfortunate but having had no indication from runrug about the problem how it occurred we find ourselves very disgruntled!

The hall runner was described as blue it's green

The hall runner was described as blue there was a dark blue Kendra B option but we went with the Kendra Blue L thinking L was for light it looked blue/grey in the photos just what we wanted, however the colour delivered was GREEN, Runrug emailed photos showing blue and green and we definitely had green. But no apparently it's turquoise third party supplier says green is dark green so not blue as described but turquoise when in reality it's green. Was sent a link to their review page but it won't let me submit.

Fast ordering and delivery.

We ordered two matching rugs and a stairs runner.
there was a small color match issue with the small rug, I reported it and they quickly resolved it with a replacement rug delivered today.

Import duties not flagged up

I live in France and deliberately chose to buy my rug on the French website. At no point during the check-out process or subsequently was I warned about the amount of import taxes I would have to pay. If I had known in advance how much I would have to pay, i would not have bought the rug. The taxes turned a purchase of 264.25 euros into one of 357.33 euros, more than a third as much again.

I deliberately chose to order from a French rather than an English website believing that I was purchasing a product within France. It was a shock to be notified by UPS that I had to pay such a large amount of extra tax. Why was this not flagged up at the time of purchase?

I have checked all the emails I received from runrug and nowhere are import taxes mentioned. I feel strongly that it is the company's duty and responsibility to point out this extra cost to customers, but I imagine they do not do so for fear of losing sales.

Update: the company responded promptly to my complaint and immediately issued a refund of the import duties. I am very happy with this timely resolution of the problem.

Long wait for delivery

Poor customer service, waiting 10 weeks for a runner and the payment deducted from my account at the point of ordering, only to be informed it it out of stock. Good customer service would have been enquiring if we wanted to wait that long....it has now arrived and very poor quality rug, my advice..avoid and go elsewhere.

Nice rug and good delivery

Really pleased with my outdoor rug. The delivery was spot on. I was able to change the delivery date. Then l was messaged with a 2 hour window on the morning of the delivery.

Next Day Delivery... Err NO

Paid for next day delivery as needed the runner urgently happened to call them as had not received any update..... oh it's still in the warehouse apologies you wont receive it until Wednesday now.... Umm we shall see not sure I'd use them again after this experience as so annoyed, had I not have called them doubt I'd of been informed of any problem.

We had wood flooring installed so…

We had wood flooring installed so needed a rug in hallway. I've never used run rug or heard of them- but took a gamble on them. No problems whatsoever! Ordered and delivered smoothly. Even when I needed to speak to someone pre purchase question, I had a pleasant exchange with someone from Run Rug office.
