Perfect Experience

First time using Rue La La and I can honestly say everything went perfectly. They had an item that was sold out everywhere in my size and the discounted price was about 40% less than the regular price. I ordered expedited shipping and they shipped it immediately by end of day. The item arrived the following day and it was in perfect condition - exactly what I was expecting. Great first impression and I would purchase from them again.

Fake item

Received a fake watch. I heavily researched the brand and the watch before ordering through this site. It did not work well immediately after receiving - it has multiple settings and not all of them could you actually set due to faulty controls. I wore it anyway until the ‘gold’ started leaving my wrist blue and green. I reached out to the manufacturer and received a response that this should not happen, but ruelala CS never answered my many emails to address this issue. AVOID!

Very bad so far

Very bad so far. They sent the wrong size, and now no reply to 3 emails over a week from customer services. I see also see returns cost $49.99. which is half the price of the shoe. Scam rip off. Do not buy from here.

Fake gold

Purchased there a 14k pendant a few years ago. Was looking through my jewelry recently, and found out that my “gold” pendant turned blue. It’s copper. I actually wrote to the company. And they ghosted me. They sell counterfeit. And do not take on responsibility. Beware.

Terrible return policy

Terrible return policy — feels like a scam.
I placed an order and needed to return an item, but instead of a refund, they only offered store credit. Now I’m stuck with credit I don’t want to use. This kind of policy is deceptive and unfair to customers. Be careful before buying — once they have your money, you won’t get it back. Feels like a rip-off — be cautious before buying.”
They do not offer refunds, only store credit, even when the return is valid. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Buyer beware

I bought 2 white gold diamond rings totalling $15k. One never arrived, the other did but a diamond fell out shortly after. I couldn’t even tell you how many emails I sent them. There is no active phone number for customer service. My bank had to fight to get refunded for the ring that never arrived and was actually signed for on another continent altogether. I had to fight 6 months to finally be refunded for the faulty ring, which I was doubtful would ever actually happen. Never. Again.

Poor customer service as don’t address their error

Ordered a pair of sandals. They sent the wrong size. When I emailed immediately upon receipt, they stated that they do not accept returns on sales items. No mention of sending me wrong size. I checked product page and confirming order. Nothing stating no return allowed. They then told me to contact another company on diff email address. Was asked to send a photo of received goods. No response other than a third email contact address and mention of another company. I reiterated the problem three times in writing and thru PayPal. No response to return goods at their expense. PayPal gave me a full refund 14 days later. I give the company 1 star as great discount and I can now sell a £60 pair of shoes as they wouldn’t communicate sensibly nor accept a return

Long time Rue member

I have been a Rue member for 10 years or more. I have never been disappointed when ordering high quality brands. Returns are easy and I have not had any issues. I agree with another reviewer - I don't understand why there are so many low reviews. My advice... l look at all details of what you're buying and you won't be disappointed.

I started getting scammed by online stores

i went to eye doctor when i seen a revo sunglasses so i decided to buy it from Rue la la because i found glases online . After changing me 145$ they sent me crapy glasses. i was furious so i mailed them they said they will give me store credit of 25$ i said they can shoved there 25$ store credit. I t all d my Bank that I was scammed. I don’t trust Online store anymore.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, stayed on hold for 30 minutes listening to elevator music, sent several emails without any resolution. Chat box on the website is completely useless.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. They should be shut down! I ordered an item, a week ago they sent an email saying shipped and a tracking number. However, no mention of the carrier used and this number shows no details. When u try to contact them all they can say is track the package. How exactly!!! Now will contact my bank to try and reverse this payment! Avoid at all costs!

Really shady site

I ordered some Birkenstocks. The discount wasn't all that great but I had some points to cover shipping. Birkenstocks have 2 widths; narrow and regular/wide. I need the regular/wide. I got the narrow. There was no description on the website page that detailed narrow but other Birkies did say narrow so I assumed these were wide. They were not! I contacted customer service several times thru email. Not a way to actually talk to a customer service rep. Their chat is a joke. To no avail. I ate the return shipping fee. No way was I going to order anything else off this shady site. If you are contemplating ordering.... don't do it! There are plenty of other legitimate sites to shop from. Google them. They already have had a class action lawsuit because of fraudulent practices regarding gift certificate. I didn't do my research but I hope you do yours. I enough people don't order from them hopefully they'll go out of business.

DO NOT ORDER FROM RUE LA LA.
This company is a complete disaster when it comes to customer service. I made one order — just one — and it was enough to ensure I’ll never shop with them again. Out of ​5 pairs of shoes I purchased (spending ​a​ little over a $1,000), not a single one fit properly. On top of that, one item didn’t even arrive in the box.

When I reached out for help, their response was laughable. No support, no resolution, no refund. Just a brush-off and a vague, “It’s en route,” for the missing item — which, shocker, still hasn’t shown up. To add insult to injury, they won’t allow returns on anything. So I’m stuck with uncomfortable, unusable shoes and zero recourse.

I honestly question the authenticity of the products. They look and feel like knockoffs. Rue La La is a sketchy operation at best — and a flat-out scam at worst. Save yourself the frustration, the money, and the regret. Avoid this company at all costs.
