This place deserves negative stars if…
This place deserves negative stars if possible. Business is about service and merchandise, however this place failed on both .
The entire shopping experience feels like a scam. Do not have any actual customer service nor support, money being taken and then wish you good luck. Still not received the merchandise which was meant for birthday gifts but it gets meaningless now. Need to cancel the order for full refund is not seeing any response.
Rue lala is a Fraud
Rue lala is a Fraud . They get No Stars !!!!
They went in our bank account multiple times and made our accounts negative.
Everyone needs to beware of this Fraudulent ,scam people.
How can people be so cold and heartless. They will catch karma!!!
Happy Customer
I will admit I purchased from Rue LaLa with very low expectations after looking up reviews prior to my purchase, but in the end I was delighted to get a great deal on a beautiful dress, that is in my possession.
I'll start by saying the experience wasn't perfect, but when paying 20% of the retail price for an item, that was to be expected.
Shopping for a dress for my work Christmas Party, I ordered a Dress the Population dress that I fell in love with at Nordstrom, but they didn't have my size. I had never heard of Rue La La before, but when I saw the dress on their site, in my size, advertised in my currency, at a fraction of the price, I did some research on the company and after finding rather mixed reviews I was willing to risk it.
I ordered on November 17th, estimated delivery was Nov 28th-Dec 2nd, package arrived Dec 8th. Christmas Party Dec 12th. Phewf!
From the time of ordering, it was a rollercoaster ride of emotions: suspense, as I waited to see if I'd placed a real order with a real seller.
Relief when I received confirmation and shipping notification emails within 3 days of ordering.
Anxiety, when the shipping status didn't update beyond "waiting for carrier" for over 7 days.
Mild frustration trying to connect with a human on their automated phone system. Escalated frustration when I had to prove myself as a real customer to a robot who didn't want to accept my order information on the live chat, and then a return to inner peace when I realized it just didn't like my auto fill data. Once I typed my contact info in manually, it accepted that I was a human with a real order, and allowed me to connect with an agent.
I was skeptical when that agent said she couldn't help me because I was an international customer, but would escalate my inquiry to a member of the international team. Ready for the runaround, I thanked her and went on my way. I was pleasantly surprised when an international agent did indeed reply to me within 24 hours, with an update on my order's status. My tracking info quickly progressed, and my lovely little package quickly made it's way to Canada, where my excitement changed back to anxiety when my package stalled out in Mississauga for 4 days.
However, the shipping company pulled through and my dress arrived, true to what I purchased, today on December 8th.
In conclusion, while I would definitely allow more time than suggested for delivery, I found my experience with Rue La La to be decent, and am giving 5 stars because I was able to get help when I needed it, (even though I had to overcome the Autobots to get there), the actual humans I interacted with were lovely and true to their word, and my package arrived in time for my event and was exactly as expected.
I would definitely consider them again for a future purchase.
Customer service is garbage
The ordering was easy but my order said it was estimated to arrive 7 days after my order (order on the 23rd, said it would be there the 1st) and each consecutive day I looked after the expected delivery date it said a day later. It still has not arrived despite saying it’ll be here on the 10th and the tracking number says it doesn’t exist. It also is nearly impossible to get ahold of anything but a bot on a chat with both Rue La La and the tracking company they use. Very frustrating! I’d like to cancel and order from somewhere else because this was for my kids birthday on the 30th.
I buy dress quality 0
I buy dress quality 0 . Missoni I think still it’s fake

I was hesitant at first due to all the negative reviews, but I’m satisfied with my order and probably will be shopping from this company again.

Ruelala has made it so hard to get into it's site with several verifications that it is actually myself logging into my own account, I can't be bother to go through it all. I like Ruelala in general as far as products. But being that they want me to link my email account passwords to their site, I find that it bit much. If I want different passwords for both, I am going to maintain that.
Not a genuine retailer !I have purchased more than 2k in this…
I have purchased more than 2k in this shop, the wool coat was the product i was most dissatisfied with for the price i payed. however i wanted to leave this review because i wanted to place another order to buy a Le Vian ring and noticed that they had increased the the total price of the ring to offset the real discount. so they said 78% but this is done by falsifying the initial price . Lyst.co.uk aggregator the price originally was different from what now advertised in the Rue La La shop
I would give a 0 star if possible
I would give a 0 star if possible. I have been a loyal customer for years until now. Purchased a Neverful LV bag to replace my original I purchased directly from LV in March. The bag cost me close to $1800 and has completely fallen apart. I reach out to Customer Service and their response" see our return and help section". What a joke and insult to a loyal customer. 21 days return, read the room. Never will I purchase again!

If I could give a minus 100,I would try it . I have been a loyal member of rue la la for my friends recommend to me. But this year , I ordered four chairs for my new home at $999.98, its not cheap.i didn’t even notice the chairs are not working until i moved in for while , I found out two Chair legs are totally malfunctioned,I called rue la la several times , the rep said it’s over 30 days and non refundable , the last time they said the manufacturer can’t accept return for it is over 30 days . So I mean I spend so much money for two chairs I can’t use at first beginning and you know it , this is totally a scam . I have to throw away all the four chairs because it reminds me how much rue la la sucks especially the customer service !
This is for real
The item was genuine Trina Turk pants at an amazing price. Delivered before estimated delivery date. The site is for real
They Are Getting Worse
As usual with what I buy here, the stuff is not exactly what I thought it was. But this time out, the "free form earrings" and the "crossbody bag" were just not that at all. When I went to the returns area, there was a "not as described or shown" option. BUT THEY STILL CHARGE YOU THE FULL RETURN AMOUNT, EVEN IF THEY LIED! Or you can get a credit and return for "free". The descriptions on a lot of items are not adequate or accurate. They share these garbage points with their sister company, GILT. They are ridiculous if you never get your merchandies, like what happened to me a few months ago. You will need to do a chargeback with your bank. OTW, the merchandise appears to be authentic. If you really want it, check the original manufacturer's site. Nordstrom seems to take descriptions seriously too. I often use them to find out about things I want to buy. But if I can't find an alt seller, I have to chance or not buy on Rue from now on
Terrible customer service
I tried to place an order as a first time customer. It said I could get 10% off plus free shipping for my first order. My cart originally gave me the free shipping, but then when I went back it gave me the 10% off without the free shipping. I tried to communicate with their chat line since they have no customer service phone number, and all they did was refer me to articles to read which did not answer my questions. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. NOT RECOMMENDED - TO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Dont waste your time or money
I have made few purchases in the past. They take too long to deliver anything. I just purchased 2 bottles of NIZZA wine over 2 weeks ago. Items were to be delivered on Sept 18, nothing as of today. I sent an email, if i dont get these within 2 days I will be canceling the order. Not worth it, they collected their funds immediately. Poor service , theres no sales here!
Fake items.
Fake items.
Awful awful definitely avoid! This website is a scam. Bought a pair of sandals which were definitely not authentic. Return links don't work. Live chat is just a bot that can't help you. Unsure if I'll get an email back. Don't waste your money!
Unexpected order failures. Useless customer service.
Ever since I added a new credit card to my Apple Pay account, all of my orders are suddenly being cancelled even after I receive confirmation emails that the orders were placed successfully. I’ve received no notification from RueLaLa about the cancellations and instead have to find out only when I log into the account to view the order status. Efforts to address this with customer service chats and emails (all seemingly bot-controlled) have yielded only vague responses and not resolved the issue. I used to enjoy the convenience of shopping this site but I’m about ready to cancel my account
So disappointed
So disappointed! I ordered 2 maxi dresses for vacation. The quality is paper thin and see thru. Complete garbage.
Customer Service takes so long to respond
Don't buy anything from here
Don't buy anything from here! I ordered Rag and Bone Jeans and they were fake. I returned them and had to pay $11.99 shipping to receive them and $11.99 again to return them. I will NEVER buy from them again.
Scammer
Scammer! Have placed an order and have not received it for a month since ordering. The communication from the customer support is terrible don't think it was a 'real' person who was communicating with me.
No issues
I’ve used Rue La La for a couple of years & I haven’t had an issue. I have appreciated being able to shop for products that are hard to find or cheaper than locally. I haven’t made big purchases on luxury brands so I don’t know if it’s ok or not in that regard. Postage is expensive & there doesn’t seem to be a clear spend for cheaper or free postage. It seems to depend on the item you are purchasing, which seems to be more common on sites that are similar.
