Money thrown away

The metro and bus pass was great. The Omni card was a total rip off. Hard to pick up.
Skip the line Vatican museum was anything but. We had been before so when we were finally in we knew where to go. Basilica didn’t need a booking so wasted a booking on that. Nothing else was even available. Use tour guy!! Money thrown away on omni card.

Not perfect but appreciable

Good: the pass did its job for all the visits. It is well known and taken into account by those in charge of access. He saved us from waiting in long lines.
Not so good: the reservation process is a bit perilous and you have to go to several sites where choosing dates and times could be difficult.

A total waste of money

A total waste of money! Due to flight delay couldn’t get access to Vatican Museum of Distine chapel. This tour wasn’t available for the next two days either. Pass therefore of no value. Colosseum fully booked for duration of : day pass. Activated pass on hop on hop off buys and used it for half the tour. Won’t consider a partial refund. Totally disgusted and dissatisfied with customer service. At a loss of €500+ for 4 passes!!!! Don’t purchase Omnia and Roma passes

That’s a Trap

This is a trap, you pay and after everything it’s full, no refund. They just take your money and they know every museum are full so you can’t book nothing, and we stay 4 days in Roma.

Shambles and a scam

Shambles and a scam. Tickets not available where they tell you to collect them, then you find out fast track and skip the queue is a lie as well. Vatican and Colosseum have to be reserved, managed to get very late entry to Vatican Museum, had to pay again locally to secure entry to Colosseum as unable to book with Omnia. Lots of other attractions listed actually free anyway. This card as advertised is a scam, plin and simple

Bought 2 Omnia passes and the attractions are not available on our dates. Have emailed customer service but the reviews about the passes are pretty dire. Worried this has just been a very expensive and miserable mistake! 😞

OMNIA CARD DOESN'T GUARANTEE ACCESS TO ATTRACTIONS

We recently planned a visit to Rome, and we decided to buy this card to guarantee access to the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and Coloseum.
We selected the dates, and apparently there were availability for the weekend we planned to be in Rome.
After paying, we couldn't find a slot for none of the attractions in this weekend. I can understand that it was too close to the date, and tickets were sold out. But then, why we weren't informed before paying? It does make no sense to pay for the card if you don't have granted the access to the attractions.
We haven't used it. We have not yet travelled, so I want to cancel it and get a full refund. According to the cancellation policy, I have 14 days in case I have not used it, and I should call +44 20 72 93 09 72.
I've done it, and I've been informed that due to technical issues, I need to send an email or chat.
I have sent an email, and will resend it. But the process is complex and for sure, I wouldn't recommend to buy such an expensive card, thinking that everything is included, to find out that you cannot visit what you really want to visit.
REVIEW 11.05.23
I still think that the fact that you need to purchase the card without knowing if the attraction you're interested in is available is a problem, and I cannot rate the card with more stars. I also have to say that I sent several emails and called several times with no success to cancel the order. But... once I managed to contact via chat, the agent who has assisted me has been extremely helpful and efficient, and in a few minutes the cancelation was done. I don't like the OMNIA card, but I like a lot GoCity's Customer Service. Thanks for your kind help, Sagar.

Waste of money, poor customer service

After purchasing the Omnia card a month in advance, there was immediately no availability for the colosseum via the link provided. We were advised to keep checking the website as more slots would be released, which they were not. We had to purchase tickets to the colosseum separately.

After arriving in Rome, we went to two Omnia locations, one at 14:45 and the Carcer location at 15:15 where we told they closed at 15:30 despite the website stating they closed at 4pm. The employee told us that we should have been informed they closed early on that day and that it was not her mistake, and walked away. This meant we missed out on one day of using our Omnia cards, despite paying for 72hours.

When using the OMNIA app, the 6 tickets had no availability. We had paid over €200 which only granted us entry to the Vatican museum. At the pick up point an employee said it was unfortunate that we were there over New years as there was limited availability, but we should not have been able to purchase the cards if this was the case!

We emailed a complaint, received an apology but no compensation could be given. A waste of money and a lot of hassle booking tickets and collecting the cards.

What a disaster!!!

What a disaster!!!! Booked five 72 hour tickets on line, booked our tours and received tickets on email, that the only positive thing we had. Arrived in Rome looked for the hop on hop off Omnia bus. We should have known them that this was a joke.in the five days we were in Rome just seem two Omnia buses the one we were on and one heading to the airport. We found the terminal station and got on the bus, most of the connections for the headphones were broken and I reported to the tour guide but nothing done about it. I will say the tour guide helped us as we were getting off and I asked her a question regarding the public transport which was included in our passes. We stayed on the bus while she sorted it out for us and got one of our tours changed to the next day. We went to the head office to pick up our packs which we had no idea we had to do that. We spoke with a person there and she seen we had booked our tours and paid for them. On the Sunday we made our way to the colosseum as we had booked our time. We went and showed our tickets and was informed we can not enter as we had not paid 2 euro entry fee, we had paid 24 euro which was part of our pass. I spent two hours trying to book for five of us to enter even the next day with NO LUCK. We only got to see the chapel and Vatican which was fabulous. The whole pass was so stressful and a waste off money. We waited for the hop on hop off bus many times and ended up getting taxis. I definitely would not recommend buying this pass and save your money. Shame on this company for not explaining to tourists what they need to do. Very very disappointed

I received notices back looking for more information on the 18:09/22 which I have done. Also I have emailed the company directly regarding our disappointment and requested our money back

I have emailed you my reference number and additional information as requested on the 18 September
Please check your emails and confirm that you have received it

DONT USE THE BUS!

DONT USE THE BUS!! They say it's every 15mins but more like everyone 40+ minutes. They also miss stops and almost left me standing there after 40mins. I had to run up to the bus while they were mid driving and chase after it. Plus when I pressed stop they never stopped, even after I got up and stood next to the door. Now I'm a 24 minute walk from the vatican and no closer then I was when I was first waiting for the bus. Time wasting to the Max!!!

It also promises free wifi which was a lie.

Totally NOT WORTH it

Is totally NOT WORTH it. First, you cannot use your pass if they do not activate it, in person… Moreover, you have to go to specific offices full of long lines that close at 5 pm, so if you arrive at the airport around 3 pm you have lost that day and they will not reimburse you. Second, the “audio” for the Vatican is a scam: it is a 3 min general description of the Vatican… and I you want the audio guide it will cost you as anyone else that does not have the pass. Third, some of the places included are for free to the general public.. After, even with the 72 hours pass you barely have the chance to hop on one bus, as at max you will do 3 attractions per day ending after 18 hrs. Nevertheless, the hop on- hop off bus runs on a limited schedule with the last being at 5 pm. Lastly, the transportation in Rome is not expensive and each individual ticket is valid for an hour.
Summary: DO NOT BUY IT

0 stars.

0 stars if I could.

Booking platform gave issues with regard to booking. Bus stops were not clearly marked out, I needed to spend nearly an hour finding the bus stop. Bus also didn’t arrive on time at the FIRST STOP.

Buses also don’t come as often as the other service providers. You are better off booking the attractions yourself than through the company.

OMNIA Vatican & Rome Card - RPA7124660

If I could give no stars I would. Bought passes for Rome literally right before the pandemic hit. They expire after a year so I waited to see if I'd get the chance to use them and obviously as the pandemic lasted over that year I didn't get to use them to emailed the customer service looking to see what my options were.
I was absolutely delighted to hear I could get a refund so I sent them off to the UK from Ireland as asked and emailed again to let them know they were in transit.
They confirmed a second time i would get my refund once they were received so to let them know when they get delivered.
Two days later they deliver so I emailed again and for a third time they confirmed I would get my refund but to give them two business days to track down the passes with the warehouse.
I've been emailing and now all of a sudden no one will answer me. I'm €600 down plus now postage on top of that and can't believe they kept telling me I would be refunded only to just blatantly ignore all emails after that.
Feels like I've been robbed. I was counting on that money after being promised the refund it's disgraceful.

I purchased on line 4 omnia vatican 72 hr passes for our family vacation. Supposed to pick up/collect my card on Dec. 29rh when we arrive Rome by train at 3:30pm. I received an email last wk informing collection dates and time for the holidays. 29th is up to 1pm only. Then it will be january. What will I do now? I keep on writing messages in your site since last wk. 4 -5 times already. No answer. Can you extend time? Can you deliver? Any suggestion? I'm frantic already since these passes have been paid for already. I might not get to use it since no help or response from any of you.

I just bought two Omnia card for my mom…

Managed to make my reservation. It seems the system only 2 months in advance. Thank you Suzy and Bryony for your help.

From previous review:
I just bought two Omnia card for my mom and myself. Tried to reserve the Vatican City slots. It shows no seat available on the day that I wanted. So i tried 1 year ahead on 30th Nov 2020, still no seat available. Hence I tried 2 years ahead on 30th Nov 2021, also no seat available. Omnia should not be selling ticket for Vatican City if unable to secure seat. Moreover, I tried writing in to get explanation/refund, website unable to process my enquiry. Jokers!
