Richer Sounds - Cardiff Reviews 

I made an appointment with Jon, explaining that we weren't going to spend a tremendous amount but due to a bad back couldn't hang around. He was brilliant from start to finish. He is an example of why I'd use Richer Sounds before anyone else.

Excellent product advice and service from the team in Cardiff. Went in with a request and came out with what I needed.

I spoke with a customer representative on the phone. He helped confirm my option for a Sony Bravia and soundbar was a good one, as well as going for a stand rather than wall mounting. The TV & soundbar arrived within a week. Communication was good throughout.

I called them to explain I was not sure whether to buy active or passive speakers for my new Brennan amplifier, and they said bring it in and we'll try out a range of options. So I had an hour in the listening lounge swapping a variety of options. The staff were great and I settled on a pair of passive.

I went in asking questions and they were answered. I asked about one particular item and was introduced to a cheaper option which turns out suited me better. They even hooked it up to demonstrate.
I left with a better idea of what I was looking for and a quote.
On returning with some changes to the suggested items there were no quibbles or trying to upsell. Just an offer of help if I needed any at any time in the future.

It was difficult to set up and without a quick start up quide it was almost impossible. I’m 70 zbf found it difficult and had to ask a neighbour for help

Welcoming atmosphere in the store (Cardiff) and friendly, expert advice led to a hifi purchase that I’m delighted with. Very pleased with the suggestion to use the soundproof room to listen to the system and try a better record deck (Argon) which was well worth the extra cost.

Second Samsung TV with a backlight issues in the last 3 years. 3 years into this latest 6 year warranty period struggled to get hold of service help. Given a number I tried to call with no joy as of yet. Hoping to get problem remedied.
*Update: Richer Sounds repairs replaced the faulty screen, however the power button is now missing from the tv unit. Can use the remote to power on. Not ideal.
Further update: Richer Sounds has offered to remedy the issue with a further repair or vouchers for a future purchase. I am really pleased they take their customer service seriously and have done their best to help throughout.

Quick and easy purchase with helpful staff

I received from the outset excellent advice and support. Both on the telephone or in person the staff were unfailingly polite, attentive and pro-active. Andy in particular was both true to his word and his actions. It was obvious that he and his manager enjoyed a harmonious working relationship which helped the transaction enormously. Excellent

Candid advice and very competitive prices. Made better by offering the difference in price a week after purchasing, when the TV was reduced. Even helped me out to the car with the TV!
Hars to quibble with that level of service.

Found Richer Sounds in Cardiff years ago. Not only do they have competitive pricing, and really good warranties, all the staff are fantastic. Every time I've purchased something they have gone out of their way to make sure I've got the right cover, right product. If I have ever had issues with something (Think I bought a sound bar on clearance stock which was faulty), no issues, no fuss just sorted the problem right out . This is why I keep going back to them and why I have now started using them for my business and not just my personal items.
