What seems like a great idea for self…

What seems like a great idea for self showings of tenants so you're not constantly meeting strangers or having no shows is not disclosed during the sales call. What they don't tell you is that prospects have to PAY to get a code to view your listing. No tenants are going to pay just to look at a house. This was not disclosed to me in the sales call and only figured out during the hour training session they make you take. I have asked to cancel this months ago and they continue to charge me every month. I am having to call my bank and have them put a stop payment on it and file a fraud claim.

Scam

This whole business is a scam. Made me pay to view a home through a 'self-guided tour' and refused to grant me access to the home. I waited for an hour outside the home talking with their customer service, who verified my account successfully and requested information they shouldn't have (through the app) such as my SSN, and ended up telling me, after a whole hour!, that my phone's camera has issues connecting for a selfie and they wouldn't be able to help. Never again. Going forward, any property that uses rently is a property I will not be touring or applying to.

Scam of the century

Scam of the century! No one should have to pay to view homes! Especially self guided. I have reported to BBB. Do not trust! They require personal information and do not explain you have to PAY to view.
What has this world come to????

It's easy... Well... not so much.

It looks easy but it's not.

I wanted to view a property. The management company linked me to Rently. I typed in my phone number. I was already registered. But my password didn't work. I had to reset it. That involved e-mail, clicking links and verifying a text message.

After that, I could log in which required more verification. After that, I get to yet another page of verification requirements. Didn't I already have an account? Why do I have to verify again? The "easy steps" are three annoying, very personal verification components, such as photo ID.

I gave up for now. I don't feel like there was anything easy about this experience. Plus, I don't know how much I can trust this company with very sensitive information.

Scam to pay to tour property

I called Rently to tour a house in my area listed for First Key Homes. I received a confirmation email with someone else's name and received no explanation as to whose name that was. I was then told to give my card information for a charge to physically tour the property. Total SCAM!
