Received rupees for USD on Feb6 2025

Received rupees for USD on Feb6 2025. They gave me 10,000 rupees instead of 14,000. When I sent the receipt for them to review they said I should of cancelled the transaction on the spot. It took me a few minutes to calculate the amount and there was a long line and a flight to catch. Do not trust that they will give you the correct amount. And when they find a mistake later, they will not correct it.

Never use exchange rate "service"

I had my hard earned Euro's exchanged for Soith African Rand during stop-over in Munich.
On top of an outrageous exchange rate they charged 12 euro fee. I feel like being ripped off by at least 50 euros on a total amount of 450

This means you can exchange a wide variety of currencies with the security of a bank, practically in passing. It should be noted that a currency exchange rate is not the same as a “foreign exchange rate.” Currency exchange rates (the prices for exchanging foreign banknotes) differ from foreign exchange rates (accounting exchange rates between banks) because they have to cover cash handling and the provision of foreign currency, as well as other costs. We provide detailed information on this in the magazine section of our website.

absolutely disgusting bank and staff

I had an absolutely disgusting experience with a staff at the reisebank at FRA airport in terminal 2 on Oct 22 in the morning time about 11:25am. He is extremely rude and yelled at me. Even extensive training or discipline can not help this guy. He is purely a jerk and completely a piece of trash! He needs to be immediately removed from this job and should not be hired for any other jobs neither. This experience is really traumatizing for me and I will write an email to the head quarter of the bank to further escalate this incident.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience, they gave really bad conversion rate plus 10 euro service fee, it almost felt like stealing lad at counter was angry upon asking question for 900 usd I got only 735 euro

Money exchange Scam!

They took advantage from a person who didn’t know how currency exchange works and gave her 150 euros less in the change of what their own website rate marks for that transaction (plus 10 euros commission). The person accepted because didn’t know a bank can offer you different rates than the official one. I know that is how they make money, this is just a warning for people to check money rates before doing any operations with this company.

Horrible experience at Munich airport

I came to change 320€ in Korean won Wich according to google is a bit about 420000 krw and so is it in many other websites I checked . The change fair was so high that to achevie 420000krw I had to pay another 78€ ! I was expecting to pay a bit more because of extra fees but not 78€ 💀

Plus the lady working there was really not kind I felt like I was making her angry by asking questions. Really bad experience

Ordered gold. No information on delivery 4 days after...

I have ordered some gold from ReiseBank AG, as my bank's website (Raiffeisen Westallgäu) redirected me to ReiseBank - I thought it is a legit, professional partner, as I never had issues with my bank. One would think they choose their business partners carefully. Now I need to rethink my bank choice too.

Problem 1: No information provided
- 3 days since the order - still no information on the status of my order, even though the money has reached them (confirmed by them upon my request).

Problem 2: Customer service basically useless
- Contacted their customer service to get an update on the delivery status. Answer: We have received your transfer and have given the order further to the delivery department. (How is that an answer?)
- Furthermore, the customer service replies from a "no-reply" e-mail address, presumably to avoid further questions.

Problem 3: Is my order arriving?
- I still don't know what is happening with my order, as well as when and whether it is coming. I am already preparing to take legal action, especially after seeing other (similar) reviews.

Update 4.11.
Sent anotehr email to ask about the status of my order. Reply:
"...wir haben Ihre Bestellung an den Transportdienstleister übergeben und die Zustellung an die von Ihnen angegebene Adresse beauftragt.
Eine Änderung Ihres Auftrages durch Sie oder unseren Kundenservice ist nun nicht mehr möglich."

- again as an automatic reply email. Still no tracking link or detailed information on when to expect my order.

Expensive service fee

The exchange rate was fair and the service was good ( the staff were friendly and spoke English). However they have an additional "service fee" which was ridiculously expensive. If you are not in an urgent need of Forex please do not use this shop. The service fee is ridiculously expensive and you may be better off changing at your destination country.

Raped! Ripped Off! Predatory Bank

My husband brought in $230 US dollars, which were wrinkled/crumpled from being in a pocket and they took the two largest notes and told him that because of their crumpled (not torn, stained or damaged) condition that the exchange value for the notes was essentially half of the smaller denomination notes. I returned within an hour or two requesting the transaction be refunded with both receipts in hand, (they treated it as two transactions) and was refused because the employee that did the transaction had gone home for the day and if I returned on Tuesday due to the Holiday it would be too late for them to refund it. I asked to see policy or documentation showing that a wrinkled notes face value or exchange rate was less than a crisp bill and they could not provide it. None of their cashiers even have first name tags on, they refused to give me contact information of the branch manager and threatened to call the police on me for complaining about the transaction. SHADY SHADY SHADY SHADY SHADY... IS THIS KIND OF PRACTICE EVEN LEGAL?

very bad experience and even found they are doing fraudulent activity.
I have withdrawn 500 Euros from the reise bank atm using my prepaid travel debit card which is loaded with only Euros but reise bank charged me in INR. (Indian National ruppes) and the amount is also so huge. They deducted extra 70 euro by charging me in INR and then again coverted that amount in USD.

Since 15 days I am calling their customer care support center but they are not hearing anything and they doesn't understand English properly.
Worst part is, their website is showing form for customer care but form is not getting submitted.

It seems they doing fraud with the customers.

Service at Hamburg Airport is horrible!

I have called prior to going there to inquire if I can make money tranfer through Western Union with an ID card instead of passport, and was told that it is ok. At the Reisebank Terminal 2@Hamburg Airport a different story. No ID, only passport... and "but I personally did not tell you it is ok" and "why are we even talking now?... I said that I am a customer and this is not a way to talk to a customer, and the guy just nodded in the "yeah, whatever...". Horrible. No apology, no nothing. The worst attitude at a bank or any kind of service I have ever experienced in my life!
