I ordered my Luxury Staunton Competition Chess set and arrived the very next day - incredibly fast shipping and service. The chess board and pieces were incredibly well packed and secure in the bubble wrap and packing. It arrived in perfect condition.

The chess board itself is a work of art and the wood and gloss finish is simply mesmerising. It had a wonderful mirror like finish to it all the while keeping the grain of the wood.

The chessmen are sublime - they have a perfect weight to them and the look and touch and feel is excellent. This is by far the nicest set I have ever played on and I will cherish it for many years to come.

Regency Chess has amazing customer service.

We contacted them because of a problem with two of the Kingsgate rosewood pieces and immediately we got a response saying they will send us replacements. They were extremely kind and helpful. The two pieces then arrived exceptionally fast.

I am also very impressed with the quality of the set.

I ordered a French Knight Black and Wenge Chess Set. The order came quickly and was really well packed.

Despite the excellent packing, one of the pawns had unfortunately gotten damaged in transit as things sometimes do.

A quick email to Regency and a replacement was sent out immediately.

I have purchased a luxury Monarch Series chess set from The Regency Chess Company. I cannot express how happy I am with the service this company provides. It is really exquisite! I was unlucky enough some of my chessmen to be delivered with small defects and I have immediately informed Paula Hillier about that, enclosing pictures of the problematic pieces. Her response was prompt and 100% adequate and on the next day, my replacement pieces were already travelling to me. In addition I had a personal request to her (unrelated to the defects), which she also granted promptly (big "Thank you" for that, Paula!). All in all, I highly recommend the Regency Chess Company to anyone thinking of buying a high end chess set (or other similar thing). These people are not just sellers and they really value their customer satisfaction (unlike many others). You can safely spend your money there and will have no regrets after!
