As a non chess player looking for a chess board to go with a set of the Lewis Chessmen, this site was the only one which was really helpful. I could narrow my search easily and confidently. We now have a beautiful 19inch board, delivered in record time, and at a very good Xmas price. We are delighted.

Wonderful customer service from Regency Chess and a lovely first 'proper' chess set for my son for Christmas. Particular thanks to the extra help from their What's App service. Super efficient and also very quickly sorted out a blip when my order was initially placed.

Purchased as a gift for my brother. He had the chess pieces, but unfortunately the board was missing. I picked a board on the Regency site, as it looked to be a decent quality, and the colour looked like it would probably match the pieces.
The board arrived quickly and was very well packaged. I was very pleased (as was my brother!) as it was great quality and matched his pieces perfectly.
I would agree with someone else's review that said they are better quality in real life than the pictures on the website suggest.

I recently purchased a chess set and board for my grandsons birthday; the service was excellent it arrived very well packaged the next day. I bought a 14" magnetic folding board set and am thrilled to bits with it. Fine craftsmanship, solidly built and beautiful design.

I have bought in all 4 Lewis chess sets. One of them the black color started rubbing off. They immediately replaced it without question, and the new set arrived the next day. My grandson lost a couple of pieces from another set and Regency replaced them without charge. Their service is impeccable as are the products that I have bought. Look no further if you want quality and service.

I wanted to purchase a slightly higher quality chess piece set, without spending a fortune and regency chess had some lovely sets. I ordered at a great price and the delivery was next day.

When writing these reviews sometimes it's the same message of good product, fast delivery, great price. If the product arrives and is fine there's little else to say.

In this transaction unfortunately there was an issue with one of the pawns that had chipped. I contacted regency chess and they immediately shipped out a replacement which again arrived next day. I also ordered a nice box to store the chess pieces which is lovely.

The replacement pawn was very close, but slightly different from the rest of the set. These are hand made pieces so some variation in colour is expected but it looked a little off. I contacted regency chess with a picture. They then checked through and found a piece from the picture and shipped it immediately, so again arrived next day. The replacement is a perfect match.

The next day delivery, responses to the issue within an hour + dedication to getting the right piece even though it was just a little off was great customer service. I will always recommend regency chess for board games.

Note I also ordered Hnefatfl from them and highly recommend their deluxe set. Its a great game my children love playing and the quality is great

Quality pieces at a fair price and excellent customer service!

If I could give this company a hundred stars I would gladly. Sadly two pieces from an old Italfama chess set got broken when knocked over and I wrote to Regency asking for advice. Paula was amazing and popped the two pieces in the post, so the set we cherish is complete again! Just amazingly wonderful service!

I bought the 19 Inch No.5 Inlaid Wooden Chess Board with notation for my son for xmas. It is absolutely beautiful and so well made. I ordered then panicked as i wasnt sure the chess pieces i had would fit the board so emailed the company. They responded within an hour asking for measurements of the pieces and said they could pull the order, send a bigger board or send the same board to see if my chess pieces fit. I went with the latter. Board arrived to northern Ireland in 2 working days. Fantastic company to deal with. Highly recommend. Thank you.
