I had a disappointing experience with our tour guide, Barry Ahmed Attia. He made several unnecessary personal comments about me during the tour — such as saying I wasn’t smiling or that I looked sleeping and I won’t wall up. I tried to be patient in the beginning and let it go, but he continued until it pushed my buttons and I finally had to ask him to stop.

While he did stop after that, the fact that I had to speak up at all made the experience uncomfortable. A professional guide should focus on sharing knowledge and creating a positive atmosphere for the group, not on making repeated personal remarks to guests.

Roshdy Khodery was our guide on the full day tour of the Valley of Kings/Queens. Cannot praise him or his driver Mostafa highly enough. Exceptional service/knowledge/politeness. I felt a bit of a queen myself that day. They even detoured to take me and my son to a specialist herb shop and incense place. Would definitely book with Reflections Travel again - and their prices were amazing.
