I was worried for a while that the transaction hadn’t gone through and that I’d been scammed. The process online didn’t seem joined up. When I rang and spoke to an agent he confirmed that part of the process has worked but still needed to order it. Very scary for me for a while

We have been working with Lewis for a while now. He has listened, engaged with us, and appears to genuinely care about doing a good job. I would not hesitate to recommend RationalFX and Lewis Josephs to anyone who asks.

Tried to make payment to an existing receipient on line but the system would not recognise the details so I had to speak to someone a number of times and eventually did the transaction over the phone. Passed over from one person to another, the whole payment process took over 45 minutes.

I had big problems when RationalFX changed banks
my bank HSBC suspected fraud as they were unable to check RationalFX new bank
Phoned RationalFX from South Africa they were most helpful but had to phone HSBC and get HSBC to pay into RationalFX new account they were reluctant to do so which I appreciated as they carried out further checks. eventually succeeded just hope RationalFX stay with the new bank

Really easy to use website and very efficient service money quickly and easily transferred - excellent exchange rates.

I will preface this review by saying that my wife and I were completely new to the concept of moving money from one country to another. I imagine for people from European countries needing money in the UK, it is quite common. However, we are from Oregon and completely unfamiliar with the process. RationalFX was referred to us by a friend who is settling in Portugal. She is a retired prosecutor and therefore very particular as to who she works with.

Throughout the numerous transactions we made, moving fairly large sums from the US to the UK, Lewis and Giles were engaging, professional, and attentive. Lewis helped us pick the ideal moments to trade and worked with us while we worked through the rather complex UK banking laws. My wife and I felt we were in capable hands and we will use them in the future as the need arises.

Advisor, Sam Hartley, was helpful throughout, answered all my questions, and kept me up to date with what was happening.

My only reservation is that your bank account details appear to change frequently.

Lewis Joseph with his communication skills is certainly an asset to RationalFX. Polite, prompt & efficient service. This part of the review was written on 31/03/2023 when I executed the transaction. Today is 06/04/2023 & further to the above, it seems that my transaction has not progressed. I made the payment on 31/03/2023 & got a confirmation on that date that my "funds were sent to the beneficiary". Automated notifications of funds being sent, seem to be totally useless. The funds were not received & emails inquiring about the progress have been met with silence. Called them yesterday & was told that the funds would be sent but again no trace of the same. They promised to provide me with a copy of the Swift transfer within 10 minutes of my call but no sign of that either. No explanations either, nor any apology for the delay. Very poor follow up by RationalFX, to the initial customer service from Lewis. Certainly a very stressful experience with no information forth coming on my funds. 06/04/2023 - Again thanks to Lewis, I got a copy of the Swift transaction. Delivery is on 12/04/2023, another 6 days to go. 10/04/2023 - Got an email informing me that my transaction is now closed & I should have the amount in my account within 3 days. Waiting for the credit. 11/04/2023 - Hurray ! The money arrived today. Thank you to Lewis for all the hard work & assistance in resolving the issue.
