No response to email following up about return

I sent my return back 13 days ago and haven’t received any update on my return. I emailed the company on March 12th and followed up again yesterday to ask for an update and haven’t heard anything back. I’d like to be updated on the status of my return and feel very uneasy that I’m getting no response back from this company.

Customer service medium to bad

Ordered some wedding dresses to try on from here. Ended up keeping one of them.. happy with the dresses that were sent however the first ones I ordered I emailed them to ask if I could have longer on the returns period so that I could order another dress to try. (14 days is quite a small window) I sent them two emails and never got a reply to either.. on the second lot of dresses I waited a long time for the refund after I’d already had a notification to say that the dress had been received back. Maybe 2/3 weeks no refund. I emailed them to chase up and have now been refunded. I’ve not had a very seamless experience to say they are supposed to be a premium brand.

I’ve had an issue with one of the…

I’ve had an issue with one of the dresses I ordered and can’t seem to get a response from customer service.
Sizing is very inconsistent. I ordered two dresses in size small — one fits perfectly, while the other is extremely small, to the point it doesn’t make sense that they are the same size.
There are no zips or buttons, which makes the dresses quite difficult to put on and not suitable for anyone with larger hips or a bigger waist-to-hip difference.
When trying to initiate an exchange, I’m asked to pay £4 to return the item or £75 extra to exchange because the dress was purchased in the sale, which seems unreasonable.
Overall, very disappointing.

A brand worth splurging on!

I have ordered two dresses from Rat & Boa previously and have loved them since. I placed an order recently, and noticed shortly after I got an email about the sale which my item I had just ordered was apart of. I asked if they would be willing to refund that so I could reorder on the sale and they got that taken care of right away and were kind and helpful while doing so. In turn I placed an even larger order. I LOVE this brand, its uniqueness and appreciate how tall girl friendly it is. Their pieces are delicate, fragile and sheer and you must understand that when purchasing. If you are rough and do not care for your pieces, they will not last. I will be a forever customer to this brand! <3

Exceptional Service — Even During Peak Sale Season

I had a great experience with Rat & Boa’s customer service team. I reached out during peak sale season to request a size exchange while my order was still being processed, and they responded quickly and handled it seamlessly.

Given how busy they must have been, I really appreciated the efficiency and flexibility. It made my first purchase feel smooth and genuinely well supported.

Also a quick edit -- when I quickly reached out again to check and see if my order was shipped, they looked into it the same day and my order was DELIVERED within 24 hours! Magic

Excellent Aftersales Service

I joined as a member and my first order discount had not come through at the point I processed my first order. This discount was very quickly applied by way of a refund. Great service, prompt, clear resolution.

It was amaaazing

It was amaaazing! I was in the USA for a short time and I asked if they could prioritize my order to delivery it on time. And the team did it, my order arrived within the promised delivery time. Besides that, the dress is really beautiful!

Broken a dress and they changed it for me!

They have been amazing with me! Merciful I would say! I broke a dress on the back while sitting on a chair. And I was very sad! So I texted the support showing evidence of this damage on my dress (that was my fault but make it difficult to wear as it was exactly on my bottom - by wearing it would only have destroyed it). After a couple of days they sent me a return label to swap my favorite dress. I could not believe how nice they have been to me!

The best!!!

I had a wonderful experience with this brand from start to finish. The quality of the item is outstanding i felt like a princess in my dres! everyone asked me from where I got this dress! the fabric feels luxurious, well-made, and thoughtfully designed. The fit is truly flattering and comfortable, which is not easy to find, and it exceeded my expectations.

On top of that, the customer service was exceptional. The team was kind, responsive, and genuinely made an effort to ensure I had a positive experience. You can really tell this brand cares about both their products and their customers.

I’m very impressed and would absolutely recommend this brand to anyone looking for high-quality pieces with great fit and excellent service. I’ll definitely be shopping here again. :)

I would strongly caution anyone from…

I would strongly caution anyone from shopping with Rat & Boa.

I purchased a dress that arrived poor quality and not as represented. I initiated a return through their official return portal, which accepted the return, issued a shipping label, provided an RMA number, and confirmed multiple times by email that my return was received and that my refund would be processed within 7 days.

After they had the item back in their possession, they changed their position and claimed the item was “final sale,” despite:
• No “final sale” notice during checkout or in my order confirmation
• Their return platform approving the return
• Customer service instructing me to proceed
• Written confirmation promising a refund

I am now without the dress and without my original payment refunded, because they kept both my money and the returned item.

This is deceptive and unethical. A reputable brand does not approve a return, confirm a refund in writing, take the merchandise back, and then retroactively refuse to refund. If you value transparency and fairness, shop elsewhere.

Great experience with customer care team

I love the R&B dresses although I do think the price point is high for materials that aren’t as high quality as they used to be (eg I bought a dress years ago that was 100% silk and was less than £200 whereas most dresses now are viscose and higher price). However, the customer help is very good - I missed the return or exchange period by 2 weeks and still the team accepted to do an exchange for a different size despite having bought the dress in sale too. I was very grateful for this flexibility. Overall a positive experience for me.
