I have waited full day in the weekend and no one turned up after giving appointment for mobile tyre fitting. The mobile fitter never picked up phone.
If any sensible RAC executive sees this message, please respond, as you can see a support message created through your online chat, where order reference was provided.

Paid more for home fitting of flat tyre. Worth it!

Ordered a tyre to fit next day (Saturday) at local Formula One Autocentre, attended 3.30pm as planned but tyre not arrived. Garage was very busy and re-arranged for Monday. I also never received the order email despite ringing to ask them to resend, luckily I’d screen shot the order number (I think this happened on previous use as well). May use again as tyre cheaper than elsewhere, so long as delivered/fitted ok on Monday.

​I booked a "Same Day" fitting service for a 17:00 slot, but the experience was stressful due to RAC's logistics. The local fitting centre (Angel Recovery Center) called me to let me know the tyre hadn't been delivered on time.
​When I contacted RAC Customer Service directly to find out what was happening, they were completely unhelpful. Even though it was already my appointment time, they couldn't give me an answer and were disrespectful over both the phone and chat.
​Thankfully, Angel Recovery Center saved the day. They called me back once the tyre finally arrived and offered to fit me in late at 18:45. The staff at the centre were professional and helpful, unlike the RAC central support team. I would recommend the garage, but I would hesitate to book through RAC Tyres again due to their poor communication and attitude.

Highly recommended service, had a few queries about my tires and was nice and quick getting through to the RAC, delivered on time. Would use again.

Ordered tyre online Saturday. No acknowledgement, no receipt. Had to phone twice on Monday to get email confirmation of order. Mobile fitter was great. Overall, good value.

Genuinely good. It was as Easy to order. Only negative side for me that due to my not very well understanding language I have to pay £30 additional charge for something what already was included in a full fitting price and I wasn’t sent any email confirmation for anything! Again good job I made a screenshot of address and time. Otherwise I wouldn’t even know where to go.

Just made very easy to find your tyres and choose a fitter and date. Punch your car reg in, choose the tyre you want and pick a fitter. I got lucky and picked an excellent fitter. So professional and fast. And very personable too. Did a fantastic job for me and gave me a little advice too.

I ordered and booked 4x replacement tyres a week in advance of the agreed fitment date through RAC Tyres, all good and in stock at point of ordering and paying, but received an email at 9AM on the day of fitting to say 1 of the 4 tyres ordered are now suddenly 'out of stock'. Took a day off work for it and I'm now in a less than ideal situation where I'll have to sort it by other means (without a useable car). If you're absolutely reliant on your tyres being replaced on your chosen fitment date use an alternative company or risk being left without.

Took a little longer than I was expecting (they were quite busy) but otherwise 5 stars. Would almost certainly use them again, (if the price is right). Pleasant helpful staff. Nice to have a waiting area with an offer of tea/coffee and toilet. So all good

Appointment cancelled? Ordered tyres on Tuesday 4 November and received an email confirming booking. Arrived at site to be informed we told the RAC we were fully booked and they would need to contact you???? Why wasn't I informed and why does YOUR website allow for a booking time when it isn't available????? Absolute pathetic service. Initially fobbed off by Katie in complaints as was quoted dire service is covered in the T&Cs? Asked for a refund which allegedly is being processed. To avoid all the hassle don't be fooled into thinking they are a reputable organisation, you might as well use a cheap dodgy website and get the same level of customer service. I have now discovered RAC, ASDA and E Tyres are all managed by Colewood Automotive which now explains the dire service experience recieved by all three retail brands.

It was difficult to find the size that I wanted but I was easily able to order them on RAC tyres at a reasonable price and get them fitted from a local garage

Needed an urgent single tyre replacement after hitting a council sponsored tank trap in the local roads. Found the RAC mobile tyre fitting the best priced and soonest. The fitters were great with making the timings work around my plans for the day.

Booked a mobile fitting through RAC Tyres, who passed it on to a local fitting centre. They were helpful and attended on the date booked, arriving well within stated time, and called before hand.
They were tidy and efficient, not taking too long or being in the way for surrounding neighbours.
I'd have no problem using them again.
