Well-organized and well-led tour, just the right size

The tour was well-organized and small enough that you didn’t feel like a cargo being hauled from place to place. The tour guide was great and had a lot of local in addition to historical knowledge. The tour stops were well-timed, with adequate time at each place to explore and rest up before the next leg.

The 4-day tour to the Isle of Skye…

The 4-day tour to the Isle of Skye 7/1/26 with Allen was fantastic, he went above and beyond. He made the trip despite the weather extremely educational, fun and very organized.
10/10 rating! Definitely would promote Rabbies tours based on his driving and hospitality.

Have already left review on TrustPilot

Have already left review on TrustPilot. The trip was excellent. A very interesting and unhurried itinerary with very comfortable, booked accommodation. Our driver,(Matt from Bristol) was superb and brought experience and local knowledge to enhance our trip. The coach was new and very comfortable even in the hot temperatures and was driven very smoothly and safely including some very demanding country lanes! A fantastic experience and would happily recommend this to others. Thank you Rabbie's.

This tour was recommended by a friend…

This tour was recommended by a friend who lives in UK. We are a family of four and were visiting from the US. This was an amazing experience. The beauty of Scotland is something one must experience to believe it exists. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept us engaged with anecdotes and humor. I am giving a four star because of him.

Otherwise we had a rather strange experience with the accommodation in Portree . The rooms were booked ahead by the tour operators and we paid them on arrival. We had 4 beds crammed into a tiny room with a small bathroom.. It was very congested. Not sure if this was because we were one of the last ones to make our reservations . If I were to do this all over again I would check on the room and provide more specific preferences. And for some reason nobody gives you accompanying paper plates or disposable forks/spoons in portree restaurants for take out. When we did take out from local restaurants we could not find disposable silverware to eat or serve from. Even the hotel we stayed in. Had we known this we’d have bought our own. Since we used to leave by 8:40 am everyday to visit isle and local attractions we missed the local pharmacy and store open hours where we could have bought basic necessities. .. plus the Royal palace where we stayed did not give us silver ware from the kitchen. They serve breakfast for heavens sake daily, they ought to have some forks or plates for guests to use in our rooms…. … Try eating dinner with your hand and no plates. :) this part of it was bizarre.

Also there’s not much communication from rabbies before the trip. They had sent us the itinerary and confirmation so we went by that for planning. We did not know we’ll need to rent local storage services to keep our check in sized suitcases and pack only necessities fit this trip. That’s something you should do months ahead or you may not find storage near by.

A busy schedule of sights in Ireland with a little of Northern Ireland

Rabbies always deliver wonderful tours, excellent guides and interesting itineraries. This tour covered a lot in 5 days, so it was quite intense and tiring as the first 3 days we did not get to our accommodation until after 7 pm. The bus was not that comfortable and needs updating with pockets in seats etc. Our guide was excellent and very obliging, ensuring we saw the best views and understanding the background. It did not fully meet my expectations as the itinerary was too ambitious for the time which meant too much time travelling inthe bus,More time in Northern Ireland would have been good but generally we saw wonderful places and I enjoyed it.

unique experience

I'm deeply convinced that the mood and the whole 'weather' of any tour depends on people - first of all, a guide, and then, tourists/guests. Our guide Sean made this experience impeccable! I'm literally shocked how he handled all changes during the trip, and made the group from 15 to 70+ stay curious and feel happy. Genuis!

I left my passport at the bus station…

I left my passport at the bus station and Cameron and his team were beyond helpful and they ended up locating it within 30 minutes!!

Full story: my dad and I signed up for the Rabbies tour to see Sterling Castle for the day. Cameron was extremely engaging, funny, and kept the bus lively while we were driving between destinations. He shared so much old and new historical insight! Aside from seeing the gorgeous foothills and not having to worry about any kind of traveling for the day, the highlight of the day was when Cameron helped me retrieve my passport and purse. Before getting on the Rabbies bus, I accidentally dropped my purse at the bus station and didn’t realize I was missing it until our first stop. Cameron went above and beyond and immediately called his team to help locate my bag. Within 30 minutes, it was in the hands of the Rabbies team and safe for the day until we got back to the bus station. When I got back, somebody was waiting for me to walk me to the bus office. Would book again and had such a great time!

A lovely day around Loch Ness

Charlie was a fun tour guide, with a lot of interesting and fun stories about the area and Scottish history (and answered my many questions!) I also appreciated how he accommodated a wide range of guests with varying mobility. Before each stop, he clearly listed times, amenities, and trails and options so guests could make an informed decision about what worked best for them.

Awesome experience

Tour was great. Our tour guide and driver Lizzie was amazing at telling stories and talking about the history of the places we stopped at and passed by. A great balance between nature, history and art with these three main stops. I’m very glad to have chosen this!

Old Cameron is the best tour guide

Old Cameron was an absolutely fantastic tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts throughout the trip, making every stop engaging and enjoyable. He was friendly, helpful, funny, and always polite and pleasant, creating a great atmosphere for everyone on the tour. His enthusiasm and professionalism really stood out, and he went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience. He truly made the tour 100% worth the money. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially if they’re lucky enough to have Old Cameron as their guide!
