I shall never use protyre again. Zero customer service or empathy.
Car failed mot because of a wiper blade but protyre wanted to charge £46 + vat.i offered to take the car next door get a blade fitted at Halford and bring the car back within half an hour. Protyre couldn't do that as they never had a spare slot for a retest. I then requested a time and date within the 10 day window but protyre said they had no timed slots available. I explained I had a 10 mile journey but they weren't interested do I gad to leave the car for a day then arrange for a lift home after dropping the car off and then back to pick it up. I've had numerous mots and tyres in the past but will never use protyre again as the service I received was appalling. I paid £16 for a new wiper blade instead of protyres £46 plus vat!

The Woodside Road team are my 'go to' for anything tyre related. Consistently friendly, helpful and reassuring, I have been a repeat customer for many years as have my parents. I trust their services and advice and would highly recommend. They also just very kindly saved my bank holiday by fitting me in last minute and carrying out a puncture repair so I could stick with my travel plans. Amazing team.

This Protyre Autocare centre gave very focused attention to the problem which was a metal object embedded in the tyre tread with resultant slow loss of pressure. A repair was carried out, which, at the time of writing, seems 100% effective.
The manager (?) / customer facing member of staff was of a cheerful reassuring disposition while the customer waiting area was clean, comfortable and provided free beverages in proper china mugs.
On the strength of this one experience, I would definitely recommend this trader venue.

Did what you said, car mot’d on time,
One small downer… I was hit with an unannounced Environmental charge out of the blue…
If you are going to add to a bill you shouldn’t mislead a lower price for the mot.

Needed a tyre replacing urgently…
Needed a tyre replacing urgently because of side-wall damage. went in early in the morning. The need to replace was confirmed. Not in stock but they could get one and fit it about 3pm, but phone first just to check we have it.
I phoned shortly before 3pm. The tyre was there, and was fitted straight away. Staff were all very helpful and polite. Everything happened as it was promised,
