Have confidence in what they do
Have confidence in what they do. Felt the difference in my car as soon as I drove it home. Protyre at Stanway is 25 miles from where I live but I always find it worthwhile to take the car there for servicing and MOT.

Overall a very pleasant experience
I had to wait a little bit longer to get my car wheel alignment done but the waiting room is warm and comfortable and the free coffee more than made up for the longer wait. Staff kept me informed and apologised for the delay due to a previous job taking longer (I fully understand things sometimes don't smoothly). The reception staff are very friendly as are the technicians. Overall a very pleasant experience. I Highly recommend them!

Car returned with dirty wheel and alloy
After the wheel was replaced it and the alloys was covered with white and yellow material all over making it look dirty. When I asked why it was dirty and returned this way the reply from the man at reception was ‘you’ can just wash it off as it’s Soap. All

Job look way too long
I have used Protyre for a good few years now and have hitherto been pleased with their service. They have always been courteous and efficient.
Unfortunately my latest experience wasn't so good. The job (discs and pads) was scheduled to take up to 3 hours and I was told to expect a call when the car was nearly ready.
I returned to the premises after 2 1/2 hours to see my car up on the hoist but with no one working on it. When I asked about it I was told that the wrong parts had been delivered and that the correct items would arrive imminently.
Even after the parts finally arrived there was no progress as the mechanic concerned had gone onto another job so I had to question what was going on again.
Another 2 1/2 hours later the job was completed but I received no discount nor an apology. I wasn't even offered a cup of coffee.
I am not inpressed.
