The men were polite and tidy.
The men who can to do the work were very friendly and left no mess. Can not say yet if it will save me money as not using central heating. Hoping that my bills will benefit from having the spray foam in loft. Can update on savings after the winter.

I was recommended Protec by my son-in-law. This company was Professional, Efficient and Friendly. They were at the end of the phone throughout. They are fully Credited and immediately supplied our MCS certificate at the end of the Installation. We now enjoy great benefits of our Solar Panels and the iBoost for the hot water.

John came to assess if my loft was…
John came to assess if my loft was suitable for the insulation, he was friendly open and honest and explained how this insulation could benefit me by reducing my heating costs. As I was eligible for a grant that was explained and I was pleasantly surprised how little it would cost me. He also gave me his phone no in case I had any questions later. Protec e mailed details and rang me to confirm details of the instillation and insurance and guarantee
The instillation was booked quickly and took a few hours to complete the staff were polite and friendly and protected my carpets and cleaned up after themselves. It was a painless experience and I would highly recommend Protec.

I would like this review to be removed due to the below:
1. We did not install the spray foam at this property as on arrival our rig team discovered there were three areas not surveyed in the original visit. The three areas are not easily accessible with the added issue of the loft floor being a spaghetti junction of many utility pipes and cabling running into the eaves and over joists meaning our team could not use a crawl board. Without the ability to use a crawl board our team would not have a safe working platform to work from, Without the use of a crawl board we could not disperse their weight evenly and the risk of damage to themselves, and the clients property was too great. For Health and Safety compliance we made the decision not to continue.
2. As we are unable to completely spray the entire pitched roof the customer would not benefit from the proposed energy savings and leaving areas could result in moisture build up from condensation.
3. On our arrival a dead rodent was discovered, and clear rodent dropping scattered through the loft, to work within our compliance and pre loft survey we need to highlight if there is a pest infestation.
4. We immediately offered a full refund of there deposit and support in ending their finance agreement with a third-party company.
We are a company that pride ourselves on our installations, we will walk away from a job if the work can not be carried out safely and within the compliance of our BBA certificate and technical data sheet. I am very happy to provide photos of the areas if you wish.

From start to finish, great job
From start to finish, everything was done efficiently, politely and everything cleared away at the end. Really hard working team of men, couldn't fault them. The day after it was done, was a hot day, I had to go (walk) to do some shopping, and was boiling by the time I walked back, but my irritation with the hear died as soon as I walk in my door. the house was beautifully cool and comfortable. I don't want the winter to rush in too quickly, but hope I am warmer than last year with the insulation established. Thank you for all your hard work. Terry M

The sun has got his hat on, hip-hip-hip-hooray!
From the start "Protec" was easy to contact and deal with. We told Protec what we wanted and they advised what was available to us. The complete system was explained in relevant detail and the estimated cost was fully explained, as were the benefits. A survey was carried out without any inconvenience.
A Date was fixed for installation and the admin required was completed.
The installation team arrived, as arranged, and quickly completed the fitting. They were polite, pleasant and worked quickly and efficiently, again without any inconvenience to us.
On completion of their work they inaugurated the system, fully explaining the operation and left the work area tidy and clean. We felt really happy with what we had purchased and certainly can see the benefits of fitting Solar panels & batteries.

It started with a salesman called Jason, lied about fit dates and amount of panels we could have and even when he was on the phone with zanussi (being told he could not uphold the promises) he just winked and told us he knew the owner. Shouldn't have made the purchase in hindsight. Then surveys done incorrectly, plan changed 3 times, dates pushed back by 5 months, waited in several days to have no one turn up and no communication.......
Even after sales care can not call back when promised. Customer service as bad as I've ever seen.
For solar I would give one star. However we also used for insulation before and received much better service. So all round for company 2 stars.

Thank you for your constructive feedback on the matter. As we have discussed with you, Protec was the install sub contractor and not the company you hold your Solar PV contract with. Therefore as stated were limited as to how to support you with your concerns, no financial interactions or contractual relations were with Protec for your Solar, this was held and dealt with through another company. We are very upset that even after this was clearly explained to you, and highlighted that your issues are not with Protec that you feel this needed to be logged on our account, as a company we worked over and beyond to help and assist you, but understand your frustration, we just hope any potential future Protec customer isn't put off by the mis allocated feedback.

The work was completed in about 5 hours and they tidied up after themselves. There was no mess in the house just a long hose leading into the loft from the front door. All the work was done in a very professional and timely manner.

Excellent service from the Surveyors initial appointment I felt that my situation was of great importance to the company right through to the guys who did the job so efficiently and clean they were generally nice guys and credit to the company. The two men that came to do my loft where excellent in every department, they clean up after them self, they were Cassius and polite they were not happy until we were happy .we notice that it does not take long for the temperature to rise up, and keep there for a lot longer time we are using a lot less gas
