Professional and efficient in explaining the process of the company's loft insulation. The installation of the product was carried out professionally and efficiently by friendly, clean working workforce.

Workmen arrived on time, they were polite, ensured they placed dust sheets over my carpets and cleaned up before leaving

We chose Protec for our solar system despite the fact that they were more expensive than a couple of the other quotes we had. We were convinced by the accreditations that they offer and the fact that they are a local company with a solid reputation. The installation process was very professional and the installers took the time to explain each stage of the process. What really impressed us was the initial sales appointment which was very professional and not in any way pushy. The after sales support is excellent. Highly recommend

I want to say publicly how fantastic these guardian angels are in a moment of crisis. My knights in shining armour. Driving past their office on a dangerous bend, my tyre burst. Went in to ask for someone to call. The man came out straight away, called another guy and together they changed the tyre using the spare, and saw me safely on my way. Kind, gracious and cheerful they refused the money I offered. I will most likely never see these guys again but they are a credit to Bodmin and I'll never forget them. Exactly the kind of chaps I'd want to do business with. Thank you. Thank you.

Very nice and friendly people and very quick and efficient they left it all tidy and the roof looks great and the floor space is huge and ready to board when we’re ready really good company and nobody was pushing us to go ahead which is a nice change we would definitely recommend

Personally very underwhelmed. They use not too subtle sales techniques eg. If you have the insulation work done on a date they give you the price of the job can be done for much less than on another day which may suit you. Further “pressure” was then applied when I was told there were only 2 spaces left so it would have needed to be done at four days notice. I asked the surveyor to email his readings/findings along with the quote before making a final decision - no email was sent. The surveyor told me there was evidence of damp in the roof space but did not show me any evidence, he also said if the work was not done soon I could face extensive cost to do roof repairs and gave me ridiculous high price estimate for this work. Be careful if you deal with them, needless to say I will not be.

Helpful and on time, Pro-Tec completed the loft rafter insulation quickly and cleanly.

The difference in warmth and the coolness through the heat of summer has been really noticeable.

the tradesmen were prompt efficient and cleared up after they finished. the insulation seems to be working as stated. our bedrooms are cooler in the very hot weather we recently had. we hope the reverse is true during next winter. saving some of our healing bills. the cost will take some time to recoup but the house efficient certificate should improve on resale.

The science behind the project is sound and Ben, convincing. After a slight glitch, where the technicians' worksheet differed from the contract I had agreed, the two man team went about their work very responsibly and speedily on one of the hottest days of June. The temperature in the loft was over 40C(104F). I had removed easily handled items from the loft space and they courageously worked around the more awkward stuff moving it where necessary. A small area of insulation was left in place below the water tanks and under boards where access was difficult. The treatment was carried out in a timely fashion and the residue cleared away. I did not enter the loft for a couple of days to replace the pieces I had previously removed.
The immediate effect of treatment was to reduce the ambient temperature in our bedrooms from 28C(82F)
to a more reasonable 23C(73F) and it was the same temperature in the loft space as forecast by Ben. The insurance paperwork and guarantee took almost three weeks to come through which I thought a bit too long considering the payment was taken from my account within two hours of completion. As we agreed to have the original insulation removed, the major test will be during the coming winter as to whether the new foam insulation performs as well as was promised. Watch this space and I'll post an update.

Despite some problems with equipment that meant the crew returning, they all worked very hard to get the job done right. The thing that really made the difference for me was the team removing all the stuff in my loft and then putting it back! My loft and under eaves area are now draught free and the areas remain at a sensible temperature. Very pleased and would recommend.

Spray foam work was done quickly and cleanly. Friendly, helpful staff. All looks good, and the HICS insurance came through a couple of weeks later. The roof space now seems much cleaner, and less damp in addition to the insulation benefits. Pleased with the work
