Avoid

Hello,

I've honestly suspected I was autistic since I was in my early teens, but until recently I could not afford to even begin thinking about seeking a diagnosis.

Finally got to the point this year I was willing to give it a try. Decided to go with Prosper Health.

After weeks of evaluations and speaking with both the psych and the therapist on multiple occasions, I received my diagnosis. Confirmation that I am in fact autistic.

Anyway, once I received my diagnosis I asked if I could get an accomodations letter I could use to obtain the National Park Service Access Pass.

I was advised that no, Prosper doctors are only allowed to issue accomodations letters for work or school, and not for any other purpose. If I want a letter for any other reason, I would have to go and establish service for an external doctor and ask them to write a letter over a condition they do not evaluate me for and they did not diagnose me with. Which just seems improper and inappropriate.

Not to mention it means I'm going to have to pay another doctor to do I've already paid Prosper to do.

Lovely Experience

Simple, not overwhelming, and if I really only get charged $90 through insurance, extremely affordable. Lowkey impressed. I very much liked my Dr and was diagnosed with level 1 Autism. Thought I may be AuDHD, as I’ve been diagnosed with ADD since I was 7ish.

It made it easy and stress-free for somebody like me who has a hard time talking to people face-to-face. I was able to really focus on the assessments because I was in my safe place at home. Dr. Hagler was extremely professional and affirming and made my experience very positive.

The process was very clear and helped to reduce the stress going into what could be a difficult process. The psychologist who worked with me was incredible; kind, warm, thoughtful, and deeply empathetic. I so appreciated having them walk me through the process.

Caring, thorough, and safe experience.

I was blown away at how efficient, fast, caring, and thorough this process was. When I received my report back, it walked through my life in a way that made me feel seen for the first time in some places. It felt empowering to go through this process, and I was so pleased with the level of care and support I could receive afterwards.
