Avoid

Avoid. Will not recommend. No structure, no skills.Kids have no space to play in the small sharing box. They are just running about during all an hour. There is no point to pay for nothing. Really faaaar from being an academy.

The most disturbing club!

The most disturbing club!! Charged me £100 when I had to told them to active my account to the date I gave them but they didn’t.. absolute disgrace only one couch over 20kids running behind one ball. No skills shown.. I regret sending my son here for only 2 sessions.

Wouldn't recommend

Paid £10 for test session! Training started 10 mins late but finished on time, 1 coach for over 20 kids. Not much structure to the session. Wouldn't recommend. This was the romford camp

Faaaaar from an "Academy"!!!! Deceiving website!!

Faaaaar from an "academy"!!!!. Two coaches to share a tiny pitch, no techniques, no game as such, no structure, no space to play a decent game. Just a ball and kids randomly running around for the first 20 mins, banging into each other as super limited space and no coach in sight!! This website is so deceiving!!! I'm sorry our expectation got crashed!!. Basically, anyone can hire a pitch, two coaches to share the same one is outrageous! The disappointment!!! He is 12 and had tears streaming down his eyes as he thought "the Academy" was professionally run!! Thank goodness we only lost £10! I'm sorry I took my son here!!!

AVOID/SCAM

AVOID! Complete rip off, My lad couldn't attend any of the free sessions due to illness, when asked them to cancel I was charged £47 then after numerous emails to them to cancel it, they've just taken another £12. I will be reporting this company as fraud immediately. I want my money back. Absolute pond life!!

Great Academy

What a wonderful company pro football academy is. The change in my son has been amazing. He’s grown in confidence after every session. He’s made lots of friends and his session is the highlight of his week. The customer service received has been exceptional, as I had a payment issue that was resolved immediately.

They don’t provide teams at PFA but as my son is already in one what he learns from his sessions at Pro Football has even had his manager comment on how much he has improved. 👍

First class

I saw some negative reviews but the service received has been fantastic. My daughter loves the sessions and the coaches plus any help or questions raised with the customer service team was very helpful indeed and have always responded quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for extra training for your son or daughter

What an abseloute shambles of a "so…

What an abseloute shambles of a "so called football academy".

Constant cancelling sessions.

Along with pure money greed, i would not recommend this academy in anyway.

The cancellation process is a con, and the best intrest of the child is not the intention if this academy.

Avoid

Avoid! The taster session was ok but once signed for the month it went down hill. No skills shown, no coaching, you're basically paying for kids to muck around with a ball.
I contacted the centre to say I did not wish to continue with another month to be told I needed to cancel online.... on doing this I was told there was a £32 cancellation fee. I was not told this when signing up for 1 month and despite not continuing with the cancellation and speaking with the centre regarding this the money was still taken from my account with out authorisation.
Absolutely shocking company do not waste your money.

Don’t waste your money it seems decent…

Don’t waste your money it seems decent at the time but they don’t care about the child’s progression just all about the money £52 month is not worth it at all they do the same weekly things each months lad lost interest never get fees back on your child or anything. Also when trying to cancel they say you can’t because you still have to pay a month fee and then cancel fee but if you don’t pay the next month fee they don’t allow you to cancel so basically they want to charge you £70 to cancel don’t waste your time look for local football clubs most also offer academy’s for max £20 month don’t be ripped of by this company.

No integrity

I feel that the company are only out to get money and are not in the slightest bit interested in player development. I have emailed with my queries to try and work out what the situation is but no response. The same email was sent to all the players that started on the same evening stating all their individual strengths, the opening night was cancelled 3 times and then one you have paid for the taster session you have a player signing on fee and endless texts and emails pressurising you onto sign up today. I would question the cost and the integrity of this organisation.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. They are complete scammers. First of all they take direct debit payments. When we enrolled our 8year old they said the sessions would be for 1.5hrs and charge us £52 for a month. From the very first week they changed to an hour only because they didn’t have any coaches. They never refunded us any amount. Also they have cancellations every 2 weeks so my son ended up going twice a month for £50. That’s insane. They never refund and I had to block my card as they kept taking payments. They always said that any missed lessons will be carried forward. Well that never happens because the backlog piles up for over a months lesson.
They also never reply to your email when you raise concerns with complains and want to cancel direct debit. If at all they do it’s just bogus excuses.

AVOID

More training sessions cancelled than facilitated. After several emails, no refund. They still want to charge me! Luckily I blocked their payments. Bunch of scammers. They have exhausted reasons for cancelled sessions: from bereavement to van being vandalised.

Totally unreliable no coaches available…

Totally unreliable no coaches available so we had to go to anotherplace on different day, training sessions are awful cancelled membership just to be told they will keep space and will pause payments.
As soon as I saw quality of training myself I told them that we won't join academy and their reply was to cancel membership (again!!!)
Did it and just noticed that I have been charged £66 not £52.5 for a month!
Bunch of conmen!

Conmen - only interested I'm money not player development

My partner took my son to an academy taster session in Cheadle Hulme, he was booked on a session in the wrong age group so was invited back to a 'free' session later in the week.

To secure the free session they insisted on signing up via a link to secure the free session.

High pressure sales techniques had already raised suspicion regarding this organisation, however we were assured via a text that signing up via a link would not activate anything and it was simply required to secure the 'free' session. Further it confirmed that no payment would be taken.

Fast forward a few weeks and they have now debited £67 and £58.

This has been disputed with them and they are refusing to refund my partner. Even though we have a text from them confirming that nothing would be activated. They just quote t's and c's which are actually irrelevant given we have it in writing from them that nothing would be activated.

Our son has did not enjoy the environment of the 2nd 'free' session. So won't be going back.

The transactions are now in dispute and we have given them the opportunity to rectify their error, yet they refuse to co-operate.

A report has been filed with trading standards and will be taken to the small claims court should they fail to rectify their error.
