I REGISTER MY SON WITH THE PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY, THE FIRST FREE SESSION WAS HAS NO STRUCTURE TRAINING FOUNDATION AND SUBSEQUENTLY SESSIONS THEREAFTER RESULTED IN A BAD SERVICE DELIVERY.
I FORWARDED AN EMAIL FOR NOTICE OF TERMINATION OR PULLING OUT MY CHILD FROM THE PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY ON THURSDAY 15TH MAY 2025, AND MADE A SEVERAL PHONE CALLS THURSDAY 15, FRIDAY 16TH, SATURDAY 17TH, SUNDAY 18TH, MONDAY 19TH, TUESDAY 20TH AND WEDNESDAY 21ST MAY 2025, PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY DECIDED TO RESPONSE TO MANY OF EMAILS DELIBERATELY DELAYED ATTENDING TO MY TERMINATION REQUEST IN ORDER TO CASH IN MORE MONEY FROM MY CREDIT CARD.
WHAT PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY DON'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT ANYONE CAN USE ANY SOCIAL MEDIA TO BREAK-UP OR TERMINATE SERVICE WITHOUT USING THE CONVENTIONAL MEANS OR A SPECIFIC MEDIUM TO TERMINATE A CONTRACT. PLO SEA LINEAR EMPLOYEES EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS WERE TERMINATED VIA WHATSAPP AND SMS.
PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY COLLECTED A 30 DAYS NOTICE OF £45.74 AND AFTER SENT THE CONFIRMATION TO TERMINATE THE TRAINING SESSION, WHICH I HAVE SERVED UPON PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY ON THURSDAY 15TH MAY 2025 VIA AN EMAIL, AND SEVERAL OF WHICH WERE NOT ACKNOWLEDGED UNTIL WEDNESDAY 21ST MAY 2025.
PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY DOES NOT TELL ANYONE ABOUT THE 30 DAYS NOTICE TERMINATION REQUIREMENTS, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO READ IT UP ONLINE UNDER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
THIS PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY IS SO INCENTIVE AND LACK OF MORALS.
MY EMPLOYER HAS TRANSFERRED ME TO RESUME WORK AT ANOTHER BRANCH IN MANCHESTER AND THE NOTICE WAS AN IMPROMPTU AND I RELATED THIS TO PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY IT WAS SO ADAMANT AND WICKED WITHOUT ANY SYMPATHY FROM IT. I HAVE TO QUITE MY JOB TO SEE THE TERMINATION PROCESS THROUGH AND I AM IN SEARCH FOR ANOTHER JOB. PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY HAS FORGOTTEN THAT THE EMPLOYMENT I LOST WAS FROM THE EARNINGS RECEIVED ON MONTHLY BASIS THAT I HAVE USED TO FUND THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION TRAINING SESSION. DEFINITELY SURE, PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY SHALL NEVER HAVE MY MONEY AGAIN. I HAVE WRITTEN THIS STATEMENT BECAUSE MY INTENTION IS TO BRING A LAW SUIT AGAINST THE COMPANY FOR BREACH OF TRUST AND PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY HAS OBTAINED FUNDS FROM MINE BANK DETAILS WITHOUT A DUE AUTHORISATION AND NO COMMUNICATION WAS GIVEN. MY MONTHLY INVOICE DATE WAS ON 17TH OF EACH MONTH.
ON THE 16TH MAY 45.74 WAS OBTAINED TO COVER THE 30 DAYS NOTICE OF TERMINATION AND SUBSEQUENTLY ON WEDNESDAY 21ST MAY 2025, AFTER SENDING THROUGH AN EMAIL THAT PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY WAS NO LONGER ALLOWED AND AUTHORISED TO OBTAIN NO FURTHE FUNDS FROM MY CREDIT CARD, BUT THIS INSTRUCTION WAS DELIBERATELY IGNORED AND OBTAINED A FURTHER PAYMENTS BEFORE THE NEXT DUE DATE.
IN SUMMARY;
PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY MANAGEMENT AND THE TRAINING STAFFS ARE CLUELESS. HOW CAN
■ ONE TRAINER TRAIN MORE THAN 30 ■ CHILDREN AT ONE TIME?
■ ONE DAY A WEEK TRAINING SESSION
■ THE TRAINING SESSION IS JUST FOR AN HOUR
■ TRAINING SESSION LACKS STRUCTURE AND WARM-UP DRILLS
■ NO SHOOTING TARGETS
These above were the actual, true, and good accurate occurrence of what pro football academy characters.
FINALLY;
PARENTS STOP WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY DO NOT GIVE IT ANT PATRONAGE.
YOUR CHILD OR CHILDREN WILL NOT GAIN ANY SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FROM PRO FOOTBALL ACADEMY.
Parents if you think that my opinions were too far fetched, when it is your turn to pull your child or children out from pro football academy, your eyes shall then be opened, then, you will come to realisation that, pro football academy are nothing but extortionist and scammers.

Aanprofetional wasn't of time and money
Do not give them your card information. They are complete scammers.
These are scammers. They increased the price without asking me and withdrew money from my account. I sent a message at the beginning of the month that I did not want to continue. But they did not refund my money. They cannot teach children anything and their only purpose is to rip you off. DO NOT LET YOUR MONEY BE LOST HERE.
Shocking experience at Sheffield SEN child
Shocking experience. Told my son who was excited and I had told had ADHD and autism that he wouldn't be allowed back again if he didn't listen and then came and told me the same at Sheffield, he was great after the initial 5 mins just his first time at a after school club (which coaches knew). Then to add to further insult we never got a email that you should get the following day offering you a place or saying you was not suitable so I rang later that day on the Friday to HR and still not got an email now, which is Monday after he went on Thursday. Leaving us in limbo as to wether we can start or not and a very upset SEN child. The male coaches at the Sheffield branch obviously are not competent at their jobs and neither was the people at head office I spoke to after not receiving a email
Scam "Academy"
It is horrible, read all the 1 star reviews I can relate to all of them, do not even think about paying them monthly to go to their terrible "academy" it's so bad it actually needs to be stopped, is it even legal for some of the things they do??
It all started well my son was liking…
It all started well my son was liking it then he decided he didn’t want to do it anymore as it was the same thing over and over again sent a txt to cancel his time there so we wasn’t charged even did it on his account yet they still took the money out of the bank and now are saying they didn’t receive my txt or the cancellation on the account 😡 all they want is money
Zero worth, Dissatisfied!
I feel I have been extorted by these people. In my case, I paid for two children for the month and guess what, these children attended only once due to illness.I sought to cancel and they charge me £23 for cancellation ,also charged me two months fee despite non attendance. These people still keep charging you on a monthly basis despite non attendance, they only care about the money and keep disturbing your phones with copy and paste messages till they get you to sign up. That's all they care about and to crown it all, they leave the children to just run all over the pitch and get to touch the ball here and there, zero structure. Nothing like a close session with the children as required in a real academy, over 25 children to two coaches who just basically stand around. I feel so cheated by these people. They need to be stopped or called out.
What a waste of time
What a waste of time, don't waste your money. 25 kids to one coach. No coaching involved at all, just a dribble round a few cones then a small match with no instructor. Money grabbers is all they are
My son loves his weekly sessions with…
My son loves his weekly sessions with them in Essex area.
My 7 year-old likes it
My 7 year-old likes it, depends on location I guess. He is always happy to go, they haven't cancelled any lessons and engage with kids well, so, cannot complain.
All about Money Money and more Money
I read the reviews and still signed up anyways, what a mistake that was. Everything from the small goals pitch, to kids running riot is all true. They lure you in with copy and paste texts/emails and then they charge you for a month. If you don’t attend a session tough you still get charged. After being told I would get my money back for a missed session from an instructor the company says otherwise. So I decided to cancel, they then try to charge you a fee just for canceling. After questioning this and being told the fee was wavered I went ahead and cancelled on the app. WRONG! I get charged £35 just for cancellation. If you want a company that doesn’t care about you or your child this is company is for you. Don’t make the same mistake I did listen to the reviews
Nothing like the 'academy' experience…
Nothing like the 'academy' experience they have you believe they will provide.
Very poor directions to find the training session at Edinburgh Peffermill.
When we found it, there were about 35 to 40 children between 2 coaches which is an unacceptable training ratio.
There was no introduction, not one of the coaches introduced themselves or spoke to my son, in fact the 2nd coach who was taking my sons older group was 20 minutes late in arriving.
The session itself was very unstructured involving a warm up ball control session and then the kids basically playing one touch between themselves.
The troubling part for me was next day I received an email highlighting my son's abilities and weaknesses... It was quite clear to me that this was a generic email sent out to every prospective parent as not one of the coaches had even bothered to assess my son in anyway.
It seems to me thst this place is more interested in getting parents to commit to a monthly subscription rather than enhancing a kids potential.
I would avoid this particular company due to its questionable ethics.
feel that the company are only out to…
feel that the company are only out to get money and are not interested in player development and coaching absolutely not snowing interest to teaching kids . couch leave the kids to play with his own and running all around to get the ball . Paying higher price, £52 a month so they can wasting family and kids times .
Don't go
Based on our coach’s feedback, "name" behaviour and attitude was excellent. "Name"showed a real positivity towards the session and interacted with the other players really well.
Please see below for the coach’s assessment and feedback.

My son didn't attend the session but looks like the coach had assessed him from home
Wolverhampton one a waste of time and money
Took my son to the Wolverhampton one for a taster session. No guidance as to what to do when on site. No help for newbies. Two 'coaches' (word used extremely loosely) were on the pitch. Just told the kids (around 22) to split up and to play football by themselves. Around 20 minutes later. The kids had a bit of a training session but no real guidance, no real help. Weren't shown what to do properly. Instructions were not clear.
Then around 20 minutes later were told to go and play football again by themselves until the session closed.
These are little children, they need guidance, help and clear instructions.
Got messages and emails the day after. Saying how good my son was. Neither 'coach' took any interest in my son nor any of the other kids. They wrote a glowing report about how well my son did, without any knowledge. They didn't really look at the kids, one was on his phone a lot of the time and the other was not doing much.
The 'offer' they gave was going to end the same day. I could not take it as it was a waste of time and money
Someone else, who takes an interest in the progress and teaches properly will have the money.
Terrible business. Looks like they just want as many kids as they can have to sign up.
Don't mind giving the money but if the people don't care then they deserve nothing.
If you’re thinking of signing up DONT
If you’re thinking of signing up DONT. Absolutely shocking. Took my son for a taster session. Didn’t know where to go or what to do no clear instructions. The coach didn’t have any of the stuff he needed and looked confused himself. Received an email saying they wanted my son to join. Was worried about signing up as the taster session wasn’t as they said it would be. So I emailed someone to say I wasn’t happy with the taster session and they offered me a discount. So instead of 60 it would be 54. They told me payment wouldn’t be taken until 9th. So I signed up payment was taken on the 2nd. Not £54 but £75!! On the website it says 60 so no idea why it was £75. I cancelled the subscription as I can’t afford £75 a month. But I was still about to take my son for sessions for 4 weeks. I didn’t show up as I simply cannot afford the £75. I have contacted them by email phone text and still nothing. They emailed me saying I would get a refund of £20. Still didn’t get the refund spoke to them again the man doesn’t know what his talking about said his not sure why the refund hasn’t gone through. Bull. SCAM!! Finally he agreed to refunding the £60 why he still can’t refund the full amount when I haven’t even taken my son is ridiculous! He went only for a taster session that is it. Still waiting on my refund.
SCAM
Similar to the other reviews this is scandalous, no other football coaching sessions where I live charge a bloody cancellation fee, had I known I’d of never signed up. The weekly fee is more than double that of any other football session.
The coaches were good for a week then after that it was different coaches who weren’t great on a tiny pitch which I have hired myself previously(the cheapest you can get)
Basically ITS A RIP OFF! kids football sessions are usually £5-6 with no contract or cancellation fee
This company it’s a disgrace!
Not A SEN Inclusive Organisation
My 5 year old grandson recently attended his free trial with Pro Football Academy.
The coach initially demonstrated a specific ball skill to him at the beginning of the session 1:1 but thereafter had minimum interaction with him to accommodate the fact that he was a novice, rather focusing on getting on with his preplanned lesson with the other children in the group.
As a qualified teacher, tutor and former driving instructor, with a wealth of experience of facilitating learning for individuals of all ages and abilities, the coach failed to be inclusive and adaptable in his coaching, to connect with my
grandson and ensure he had an equal opportunity to engage in the session.
He admitted at the end of the session that he wasn't ignoring my grandson, it's just that he wanted to keep the
flow of the session going.
The coach was informed that my grandson is on the autistic spectrum, but a gifted individual generally.
However, it transpires that Pro Football Academy is negatively biased against enrolling children on the autistic spectrum; we were told a few days later via email, that it wouldn't be fair for my grandson to be in a group of better able learners. Besides they had limited spaces with a preference for others, who displayed higher skills, that they would be taking on.
Not so in the UK school education system and contrary to the ethos of the National Curriculum, allowing equal access to all learners and opportunities for them to study any curriculum subject, irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity etc.
A lame excuse by Pro Football Academy to cover up the fact that their coaches are deficiently skilled at teaching SEN learners to attain the same or even greater level of competence as non-SEN students.
I've achieved such results for thousands of pupils over the years, which has been rewarding for both parties involved.
Worst scam possible
Worst scam possible. Went to free session, small goals pitch, kids only running around, no learning, no techniques. After signed up on the 19th, decided to cancel on the 20th, next day due to son going on holiday. Got charge nearly £60 without attending any sessions, apparently you get charged for the upcoming month so you can keep going even though you decided to cancel the subscription? This is ridiculous, should be avoided and investigated immediately. Edit - after contacting the Football Academy and explaining my situation, they were able to come to an agreement and successfully refunded my money because of their 14 day cancellation grace period. So i guess it was still resolved which is a nice thing but doesn’t change the way they do take the money. Should be automatically refunded if taken by mistake.
