QUAD LOCK fails to perform over long…

QUAD LOCK fails to perform over long periods 4-8months and fatal failure on some products after 12 months.
1st issue : iphone15 pro plus quad lock case magnetic ring pulls away from the case and doesn’t lock into case, annoying with wireless charger. First time it happened quad lock were pretty good and replaced the ring. Now this second time I’m not going to bother to replace the magnetic ring, just going to find a different solution

2nd issue : suction cup on window mounting phone holder fails in extreme heat and doesn’t hold to windscreen. Absolutely fails 100% of the time if the car site in the sun all day. For work purposes mine sits outside in an open air secure car park for 8 hours and by the end of it the phone holder lost suction and I find it on the floor.

3rd issue: purchased a wireless charging unit with a sticky pad that supposed to stick to your dash. Well that only lasted about 6 months and then started to peal away and fail.

At this stage I’m reluctant to purchase yet another phone holder of some sort from quad lock.

Thank God that my motor bike quad lock phone holder is pretty much failure proof so that actually gets 5 stars. Just frustrating that I can’t find a good solution for my 2018 Audi S3….. the search continues for a solution….

My account was suddenly restricted…

My account was suddenly restricted without clear explanation or proper investigation. I’ve built my profile through real work and genuine reviews, yet Airtasker seems to act on assumptions or reports without verifying facts.

This directly affects my ability to work and earn. Very disappointing experience for a platform that’s supposed to support Taskers.

As this matter directly affects my ability to work, I would appreciate a clear timeline for resolution. If this cannot be resolved through internal review, I may seek further guidance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission regarding transparency and procedural fairness.

The Loogeenie is a brilliant invention and I have bought two for my home plus the tablets. When I have tried to buy one for my son's place with the Thank you code to get $5 Off it tells me to put in the correct code. I have tried to do this a number of times without success. Sorry but I will now buy something else now instead. Very disappointed.

Terrible returns policy

I purchased from Novora the label and the dress was not suitable. Didn't sit well. Could tell it was cheaply made. Difficult to deal with. Website offers a refund but I had to jump through hoops to get a partial refund. Wouldn't risk using them again.

Over pricing , Indonesian Visa

When applying for a visa entry into Indonesia, on Google search engine the unofficial companies come up first. The official site is further down the engine search and when opening up the programme it tells you you have the official site with a big picture of a statue. The first company charges almost 3x what the official Web page charges. They are a third party. The company headquarters are in Rotterdam. My bank didn't like me using them and cancelled my credit cards because of pricing.

Banana Lagoon

Banana Lagoon, would have to be one of the most frustrating companies I've dealt with. No contact number - ok - So, they have email don't respond for day and then when they do very vague 1 sentence response. State they'll send forms to swap products and then don't. Very unprofessional, unreliable and not interested in any form of aftersales service. Very poor experience 1 star is generous

An Australian citizen resident in NZ, home to visit family. Bought a Coles mobile/Optus sim to use and save on roaming charges. No problem till activation, Must have an Australian Credit or Debit card to activate so completely useless. Doesn’t say this anywhere on packaging. Have bought local sim cards all round the world with no problem but not in Australia. Rip off.

HCF signed up to their hosp and extras…

HCF signed up to their hosp and extras cover. Found a better coverage for my wife and myself subsequently rang up HCF to cancel within their cooling off period.
Waited on line for twenty minutes then spoke to a representative who wanted to know why we wished to cancel. I outlined my reasoning for cancellation she said she completely understood but I needed to speak to someone else in another department. Waited another five minutes to connect to a young chap who needed to go through my reasoning again. He then said look for a little bit extra we could have the same plan which would make it sixty dollars more expensive than the plan I found, I said that I just wished to cancel my HCF plan.
He kept babbling on about other HCF offers and would not just cancel my plan. Finally out of sheer frustration I hung up. I then received a recorded message stating that he had not finished cancelling my policy and that I would need to start again from scratch, this after being on the phone for over 30 minutes.

I am beyond frustrated with Booking.com

I am beyond frustrated with the customer service from Booking.com.

I was originally told to contact the property directly to organise a cancellation. I did exactly that, received written confirmation that my booking was cancelled and that a refund would be issued — yet no refund ever came.

When I followed up, I was then told I needed to contact Agoda. After contacting them, they advised the refund had to be processed through Booking.com. I was sent back and forth with no accountability from either side.

I called Booking.com six times trying to resolve this. Each time I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was placed on hold for up to 30+ minutes, only for the call to drop out. Towards the end, my calls were being answered and then immediately hung up on. Instead of resolving anything, they simply sent me the property’s phone number again — something I had already actioned and provided proof of.

To make matters worse, I was also charged $49 just to call their customer service line in the UK, as there is no accessible Australian contact number. Paying to chase a refund that I was already told I would receive is completely unacceptable.

This went on for four weeks leading up to my travel date, with no resolution. Every time I called, I was told something different.

This was also during an incredibly difficult time — my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and I am her enduring medical power of attorney. Travelling was no longer possible as I needed to be by her side for appointments and care.

I have been a loyal customer for 17 years, but after this experience, I will never use Booking.com again. Completely unacceptable service, especially when support is actually needed.

OneSolomons Cleveland QLD. Platinum Service Standards, YOU DECIDE

I strongly urge anyone considering One Solomon to think carefully about the level of service you expect before placing your business with them.

My initial contact, Kathleen, was responsive and helpful right up until installation day — which is when the first major issue occurred. I had confirmed with her multiple times that the most important component, the dog door, would be included and fitted at installation. I was assured it would be.

On the day, the dog door was not supplied. I immediately contacted the office, expressed my concerns to the receptionist, and was told I would receive a call back. Instead, 11 hours later, I received a generic message apologising for the inconvenience and advising I would be contacted “in the coming days.”

The following day (10/3), I emailed outlining my concerns about the complete lack of customer service. One Solomon advertises “platinum service,” yet my email — correctly addressed — went unanswered. On 17/3, I finally received a text advising the missing component was ready and installation could be completed 18/3 . This was now over six weeks since I had accepted the quote and paid both the deposit and second instalment. Kathleen had assured me installation would occur within 3–4 weeks.

When the job was finally completed, the tradesman emphasised repeatedly that I needed to pay immediately because he would “get in trouble with the office.” The next day, I received multiple calls and emails chasing the final payment — despite still having received no response to my original call or email. I sent a second, more direct email.

Only then did Joe Grima, Customer Service Manager, call. His apology was perfunctory at best, and the follow‑up email quoted the “Trade Practices Act” as though this were rectification work. It wasn’t. It was a clear example of poor customer service, lack of accountability, and the customer being pushed aside and pressured.

To add insult to injury, four business days after the job was completed, I was referred to a debt collection agency — simply because I asked for consideration and compensation for the delays and the unacceptable service I received.

Thank you, One Solomon, for demonstrating exactly what “platinum service” does not look like.

Adidas F50 Elite laceless Lamine Yamal…

Adidas F50 Elite laceless Lamine Yamal football boots…my son was so happy to get these. But, after a brief trial run, the bottom started peeling off. Very disappointing. We took them back to Ultrafootball, who informed us that a print on the box states that this can happen (we didn’t see the print, so it must not be so conspicuous).

This is a scam company and sells inferior products.
This so call all vision glasses they advertise on YouTube, who should also be held accountable for allowing such shonky company to advertise on the platform. Even after many negative reviews on trust pilot they are still advertising on YouTube.. pull your head in YouTube.
They kept giving me the run around for my refund and finally I wrote to the service email with no response.
This is unethical practices, false advertising and a total scam. May Cathy, from service have a fine lunch on me from my refund. May karma get your business and it will.

Ares Underwear - Defective, poorly sized and will not honour their 30-day money-back guarentee.

I'm normally an XL/38 in all pants/underwear, but went larger to 3XL based on wanting a comfy boxer-fit like in the Ares adverts.
I tried one pair (over an XL fit pair of clean jocks just in case) and it was clear that these are not appropriately sized and closer to a Large in international standard sizing. Sizing needs a review as these are at least 2 sizes off the mark.

I immediatly messaged Ares, followed up twice more and got no responses forcing me to file a PayPal dispute 8 days later.

Avoid this dodgy seller that does not stand by their own guarentees and refund policy.

Ancestry is a total scam

Ancestry offers a service for which you provide the bulk of the information. Various (hints) are offered - peppered- on you to pay for additional information over the three months you wait for DNA analysis. Most of these hints are baseless. You get nothing more than an airy fairy analysis on where your family may have come from. Surprise surprise none of them come from the USA where all the hints of who your historical relatives are. An Australian company would be prosecuted for claiming money without providing information promised. Cannot provide a date as was over an extended period
