Hey team Primary Bid massive thanks to all of you, shares for Argo dropped into HL sooner than expected. Love the new look of the app and can't wait for more exciting ventures. Thumbs up

Very Poor Service
They kept moving the date of an IPO i'd been allocated shares for. In addition they failed to tell my broker of the change in the listing date until two days prior. Because of the very short notice I wasn't able to trade the shares until the following Monday and lost an upside of several hundreds of £. They say they're on the side of the small investor but their actions say otherwise.
In response to your reply, my broker tells me 2 days notice is inadequate to rearrange settlement of the shares. You could have told them earlier. It's a pity your company is not willing to take any responsibility for this.

A great platform!
Couldn't recommend this company higher. I appreciate their corporate mission but most of all, their easy-to-use platform. Top tip: their FAQ page is a great resource for any uncertainties!

Good at taking money slow at communication
Very easy to transfer money to Primarybid. It is after that that things get harder. The company seems to have economised on communication with no viable telephone lines and zero response to emails. It is relatively easy to create a website with the appearance of a slick efficient organisation and Primarybid was recommended by my broker - so I excuse myself the lack of due diligence here. The problem is that you don't create efficiency simply by cutting corners. The corner cut here is clearly communication but from a customer point of view that is paramount. The latest ploy of trying to persuade people to invest only though mobile apps should be viewed with extreme caution until they get the basics in order.
PS just got a reply to my email so raising the stars to 2. I also worked out that PrimaryBid is associated with Jarvis an organisation that I have found quite reliable in the past.

Fantastic customer service
I’m confused to see so many negative comments about their service. I found the customer service tremendously helpful as a first time investor. Signing up couldn’t have been easier, and using their interface was genuinely fool proof. I would recommend Primary Bid whole heartedly for investors.

Don't respond to emails.
Don't respond to emails.
Trying to get a refund for an IPO that has been moved back 30 days which I am entitled to and literally get no reply from them.
In the process of reporting to the FCA as this lack of communication isn't acceptable.
Not a credible company and will not deal with them again after this is resolved.

Echoing the comments from other investors below. Zero response to various emails and attempting to contact them on the phone is a non starter, it just leaves you on hold before cutting you off.
I see a response to reviews below from Charlie Cummings, but if he sees this i'd like to know what the point of replying is when all you say is to send an email and most complaints are about the lack of response to emails.

The worst company ever bought IPO in Cellular Group and my shares have not been transferred over to my nominee broker.
I called the customer contact number spent 45min on hold to only be cut off. Also I sent emails which have been ignored.
CON ARTIST IS THE BEST WORD TO DESCRIBE PRIMARYBID

Updated review - Will give them a second chance.
I submitted an earlier review and have since had dealing with the Primary Bid team. I am still waiting for the shares in Cellular Goods to be transferred to my HSBC account.
I never did receive the allocation confirmation, which they had said was sent, but eventually received a copy after getting in touch with them via email.
They need to improve their processes and notify customers when actions have taken place...I could not find this information when I logged into my account with them.
I will give them a second chance!

Shocking
Echo the below, this company has gone off the grid since the start of the week. No way of contacting them, no replying to voicemails, complaints process not working.
I will be complaining to the FCA directly and suggest that others who have been scammed do the same.
If you want to take part in an IPO try and do it directly through a broker such as Hargreaves Lansdown.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
Been trying to get stock for Cellular Goods IPO they site a discrepancy with my address and blame the broker - I call the broker and they have the same address. Communication at first saying they are working with the broker now its gone silent. 6 days after the IPO stock still not been transferred and the share price has gone from 27p to 12p locking me into the stock. An absolute disgrace and will never use the company again.

Awful communication, No share transfer. AVOID!!
Awful communication, avoid at all costs. They do not answer the call however will do so quickly when they have a new offer on. Not received my Cellular Good shares and from contacting Barclays Smart Investment, they still have not arranged transfer. Do not risk any money as by the time you get your shares there will be no profit left. Cellular Goods ipo classic example

Impossible to get through on the phone
Impossible to get through on the phone. I leave messages and they do not call back. They then sell you shares ask for your bank details you tell you bank you bought and then told by HSBC they do not take the shares they bought. Now why did Primary Bid not tell me when they took the money? Poor.
Be careful what you buy from them. Its possible you have to find a new broker, while the shares go down. You could lose a lot of money.

Customer Service so very poor
Customer Service so very poor. They don’t freely share their contact tel no.on their website, just their email, but when you do manage to find their tel, no-one answers and instead of going in a queue system you get simply defaulted to leaving a VM and no-one calls you back. I’ve left msg 3 times regarding not receiving my IPO Cellular Goods shares which they had emailed to confirm it should arrive last Friday in HL, and I’ve had no call back in last 48 hours. Awful

Lesson on how not to treat customers fairly
You would think if you specialise in IPOs you would have the process perfectly nailed. With crystal clear comms and marketing materials. I can only assume its run by amateurs based on what happens when over subscriptions occur.
I took part in the recent Cellular goods IPO. Oversubscribed which is fair enough everyone gets a set % of the allocation.
How they manage the sizing process and allocate the shares, along with complete lack of transparency seems to suggest this is a not a professional investment company.
I subscribed for 100k shares and got 12.5k. A few friends applied for 10k or 20k shares and received a 10k allocation (100% or 50%). They all purchased at least a day or longer after I did.
I now know after a call that they deemed that everyone would get the first 10k shares and anyone after that 2.8%. No where in the pre or post sign up did it make that clear, it should be first come first served or a set %. Or at the very least make that clear from the outset.
With that complete lack of transparency from the outset I wouldn't trust them with your £ that you could have in play in the markets making money in the interim.
Their comms say "they like to treat our customers fairly" but those words are not a reality just marketing spin.
