EU customers - stay away!
On the website, the company states the following: "We cover Duties and Taxes to USA and The European Union Countries with the exception of Iceland, Portugal, Switzerland and Croatia." I made my acquisition based solely on this statement, assuming that it is truthful and the company does what it says it does. Unfortunately, after I made my purchase, Belgian post sent me a notification saying that I am still required to pay the customs and importation taxes in order for my sunglasses to receive customs clearance (which is A LOT, from my calculations it looks like those taxes essentially add extra 33% to your original price). The company clearly misleads EU consumers - it openly lies about the EU customs and importation fees, so as to encourage people from the EU to buy and then be smacked by high importation taxes. To be reported for unfair consumer practices.

Frames with Varifocal Lenses & Varifocal Sun Lenses
I've used your company over the years as you sell quality glasses but this time when ordering with lenses, my glasses were send back to yourselves twice, first time scratched lenses and second time bolts extremely loose on lenses, but the main issue from the initial order first and finally receiving back to wear, took just over 2 months after chasing several times.

First time user and greatly impressed my mom and sister will probably be getting their next glasses from pretavoir! I’ve always hated transition lenses but i went with the opticians recommended one pretavoir had and chef’s kiss!! i wear my glasses everywhere indoor and outside comfortably and the reaction time to transition is so seamless. I’ve also received so many compliments on my frames. Would have given 5 stars save i updated my shipping address and although confirmed, my glasses were sent to my old address :( beyond that i will definitely be returning

Delays, poor communication, and scratched frames
My prescription lenses took beyond the advertised 5–7 working days. When I emailed customer service regarding the lab delay, I didn't receive a response until the package was already with the local courier.
Worse, the frame arrived visibly scratched, and they failed to include the original manufacturer lenses that were removed to fit the prescription. Extremely disappointing quality control and customer support for a premium purchase.

Top Notch Opticians in London
Strolling along Brompton Road, Knightsbridge on Monday, on our way towards Harrods accompanied with my sister, we happened to stop outside Maverick and Wolf Opticians, now called Pret A Voir, as their chic window display caught our eyes and I was interested in purchasing Sunglasses and prescription glasses.
We were warmly welcomed into the store by Davide, the lovely Security Guard, who greeted us with a warm smile.
Irfaan and Maryam also warmly welcomed us and kindly offered us refreshments.
The moment you enter the store, there is an immediate rapport and you're made to feel special and given undivided attention in finding the right frames.
The atmosphere of the store is very welcoming consisting of two floors, displaying over 30 designer brands, in such a beautifully laid out and immaculate store.
Maryam kindly assisted me in finding the right frames and I was very well looked after.
Irfaan mentioned they could also endeavour to source any particular frames I was after.
It’s so refreshing and so rare to come across an Opticians which provides such top-notch customer service, professionalism, a wide range of designer frames, as well as such warmth and authenticity.
We were so highly impressed by the lovely, professional, knowledgeable and courteous staff members, Irfaan, Maryam and Davide, who were so amazing and left a lasting impression on our first visit to the store, we will definitely return soon.
I can with the utmost confidence say that this store is head and shoulders above the rest and I would highly recommend them.👌👌👌
