Absolute scam when flying abroad.

Absolute scam when flying abroad.
I’m currently visiting friends and family in Switzerland and didn’t bother checking the data tariffs before arriving (how unwise of me). After opening the Roaming data for what must have been 30-60 seconds, I received a message that the price for 10 Kb (yes, you read that right, Kb, not Mb) 10 Euro cents is. Right on top of that arrived a message saying I had to already used 47.60€ worth of mobile data in that 1 minute of internet (!!), which crudely corresponds to 6 Mb of data. Excuse me???
I immediately checked the app and activated a package for whole of Europe, which was priced at 6€ for 1 Gb, which was more than enough. Then I called customer service to ask if it was possible to deduct those 6 Mb from the 1 Gb I just purchased since, obviously, the price of 47,60€ was just insane for 6 Mb. Long story short, it’s not only not possible to do so, but the Europe data package doesn’t activate until 24h later and there’s nothing that she can do to increase the speed, even though I explicitly asked for it since I AM ALREADY IN SWITZERLAND. So on top of having no data for 24h, with travels and planning ahead of me, but I also have 47,60€ to pay for what, exactly, 6 Mb? Absolute scam.
I’m very disappointed in the company for this predatory practice, which is obviously taking advantage of inattentive customers like me. It’s an utter shame, since my experience so far with the company, while staying in Germany, had been good.

They are not deserve to have you as customer

It’s a real shame that I only just saw this company’s review. This company completely disregards its customers. Even though my contract with phone had already expired, they continued to send me bills for the phone without any notice. Since I noticed this too late, I had to pay an extra two months for a phone I had already paid off. The company refused to refund this money and arrogantly told me to read the contract. Therefore, I recommend that anyone who wants to do business with this phone company find another one.

Horrible

The service of PremiumSIM is not very stable. Sometimes they respond to my online requests and emails, and sometimes they don't. And their replies are not professional, either.

I signed a contract of which the minimum period is 24 months, after which is supposed to be an indefinite contract that can be ended at any time with a notice period of 1 month. I used the contract for 8 years without changing to a new contract.

I submitted a termination request a month ago, and received a (automated) confirmation email, so I thought everything was set. Today I realized that there was still signal. So I wrote to them asking for the termination date. They told me it can be terminated 9 months later. I was shocked, so I wrote to them again. Then they told me it could be terminated 1 month later. And they wrote something that did not make any sense: "You kept using the connection after terminating without notice"... Pretty crazy.

So it is to be terminated 2+ months after my notice letter. It should have been 1 month, but I do not feel like arguing anymore

But they do have English phone call service though. At least I spoke to them in English today. But my impression of Germany was already ruined (not due to this one single event, but many similar events.) This was not the Germany I was expecting before I went there, but I do not even feel like complaining much now.

Anyway, make sure you receive a formal response from its formal email address (not the "no-reply" automatic response one) after every request. Otherwise assume they've overlooked your request so you have to send it again.

Waiting for months to get the new SIM card…

Waiting for months to get the new 5G sim card. Then trying to sort things out with the customer service. Standard rudeness from their help desk agents, and no resolution. Their online self service portal is a nightmare. Market will do it's thing here, as I am moving to another provider after almost 7 years of being a faithful customer. I hope this reaches out to people looking into premiumsim. They are cheap, but in the end more expensive, as service quality doesn't exist in their world. Paying a bit more for decent provider always pays out in the end.

It's a COMPLETE SCAM and they will…

It's a COMPLETE SCAM and they will steal as much money possible (from a €6,99, I ended paying €60!!!!!!) - AVOID getting a subscription from them.

1. I tried to cancelled many times and it was very very hard to cancelled, i had to call them many times and send 5 emails to finally cancel them.
2. I got charged €64 additional to my plan for using data in the EU, which was included in my plan
3. After cancelling my plan i was requested to pay "unsettled balances" that I already paid!!!!! I sent my receipts and they mentioned they couldn't find them. Just to never hear again from them I paid the amount they were requesting.

Crazy company

I contracted 4 Sim cards from PremiumSim in Germany.
Due to leaving Germany, I tried to terminate the contracts. However, it has taken more than 5 months to decontract it and I needed to pay the fee during this period. They are always dishonest. I would never recommend a contract with this company. As others have said, they are a scam that doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating.

PremiumSIM earns zero stars from me.

PremiumSIM earns zero stars from me.

I asked for help three times. They replied with the same template. Each time.

They keep pointing me to “Services → Ersatzkarte bestellen” or “MultiCard bestellen.” I don’t see those options in the menu. I even sent screenshots. Still no real answer.

Other carriers sent me a QR code in a few days. They could do that, but PremiumSIM somehow can’t! They insist I must be in Berlin to pick up the code for an eSIM and then get an email to activate it via QR code. I am abroad for several months. They are switching to 5G, rendering my SIM invalid. That would potentially leave me without service starting mid-June.

They don’t read my emails. They send robotic replies. They run me in circles.

No real solutions. No clear links. No empathy. Just copy‑paste replies.

If there was a –1‑star option, I’d pick it.

I have been getting charged every month…

I have been getting charged every month double than my normal contract. They tell it's international calls, which is just a baloon. Now, I am trying to cancel, which I should be able to do in the same month, but they let you go after three months. Their portal is not working properly since a year, and also they do not reply to help requests in English. 1 start is "too much" for premiumsim. It's the worst mobil provider I've ever used probably.

Avoid contracts with Drillisch online gmbh

Avoid contracts with any of Drillisch online gmbh, subcompanies. Here is included Blacksim.de, Sim.de, Premiumsim.de, sim24.de, sim.de and all the other websites associated with this company.
Check at impresung. If you see Drillisch. I recommand you to avoid it.
There are not replaying to your e-mails, the contracts are not updated. People from hotline they agree with you, but they do nothing, to solve your problem. They say, yes yes, but at the end nothing is fixed.

so far so good

I and my wife are Premiumsim customer for almost 3 years by now.
We had no issue so far. it works well in our place, our city (Heidelberg) and almost everywhere in the vicinity. we also didn't face any problem in other EU countries.

even in my apartment some time we face issue with our wifi (Vodafone DSL) and we have to switch to our mobile data provided by Premiumsim.
So I highly recommend it

If I could rate 0 star or minus stars

If I could rate 0 star or minus stars, I would be glad to do it. Their network service is really really bad, especially their customer service. I am in Germany and I can not use data to access Google chrome, when I am not in Germany I can not use data. They asked me to change APN but my phone can not do that. Instead of really caring and fixing that problem, they did not even care to read my problem, they just copied and pasted answers like a machine. And they blamed me back. A really bad company, everyone should stay away from this company

My SIM card abruptly stopped working, when trying to call their customer service, they rudely hanged up on me!! Twice!! I did my best to speak in German with them but they were saying irrelevant things to my problem! Now I'm left with paying them, not having my phone connection when I'm in urgent need for it, it couldn't get worse really!! Total frustration!!
Now I decided to terminate my contract with them & search for reliable providers!

nightmare

If I could, I would give it a 0! I do not recommend to anyone, they mislead people, charge additional costs. After the telephone resignation I did not receive confirmation, I gave up the services again. I got information that I have to pay 9 euros, after a month they suddenly took me 109 euros, I made a scandal, I was apologized for the mistake and then I received a bill for 120euro :D Because apparently I have to pay for the whole year ahead, you don't know why. By phone you can no longer determine anything, I do not have an account or number and some code?! They cheat and it's scary!

Delaying response to charge more costs

Contacted them in the beginning of December to change the contract owner. They delayed the response and charged for a prolonged time of use, although I did not need it anymore.

Moreover they charge the current contract owner instead of a new one on a contract owner change. It would be more fair to charge a new one, as he/she is the one taking it over. Another view on it is that it is like a new contract where you pay an initial starting fee, and the new owner pays it. But they organized it otherwise and refused to do anything about it. And charged additionally for an extra month that I did not use.

Although the service was relatively good. With a few exceptions, where I did not have service. Because of the experience above, I'd avoid premiumsim and simplytel resellers.
