Avoid. We are distraught with the experience. We had purchased over £2,000 worth of tiles (Burlington Cream). Our builders fit them and we experienced at least 15-20 tiles chip around the edges. We delayed contacting Porcelain Superstore as our builders thought they could resolve the chips with resin but this method did not work. We purchased some replacement tiles (15 approx) from Porcelain Superstore, worth several hundred pounds. Because of the issues with the chips, Porcelain Superstore were open to given us 6 tiles for free. However, once we fit all 15, and the sun shone on them, we noticed a significant difference in the texture of the new tiles. They look completely different in the sun. We now have a patio with a mix of different tiles and many are chipped. We asked Porcelain Superstore for a refund but they blamed us for fitting the new batch of tiles stating that they reserve the right to change the way they are manufactured and that it was our fault for fitting them. Horrible experience and now we will have to redo the entire patio. All of these issues would not have occurred if the tiles had not chipped t begin with. They are not fit for purpose and we will be taking legal action

I've had 2 lots of different tiles from them for different rooms. One great, one so bad, its laughable.

The first set were perfect and exactly what I wanted so when I found out the tiler had time to do a second job while I was away for 3 weeks in July, I jumped at the chance to order some different ones.

The second set I ordered were Amsterdam Almond Wood Effect Tile. Order S995236

They arrived on a pallet in a very short space of time. The same delivery driver again, who was lovely. He even encouraged me to open the end box as it was damaged on the corner. Luckily (or not, as the case may be) they were fine.

The front tile in the box looked great. Exactly what they'd looked like on line - a white washed old wood efect.

I hadn't ordered a sample (something which to be fair, they're very good at) as A. I didn't have time before I left on holiday and B. The tiles are over a metre in length - so I didn't see the point as whatever sample was sent would only show a fraction of the tiles.

I went away on holiday and the tiler laid them. I was so excited to come back to my home office with its lovely new floor. I shouldn't have been! I walked in and said 'when will you be cleaning them?'. They replied with 'they are clean, this is the tile you chose'.

They are awful. No, actually they're not, they're absolutely disgraceful! How on earth a 'design' like them was ever passed the design reject stage is totally beyond me.

They are like your dogs have been out in a muddy garden in the rain. Then, have walked all over your floor with their muddy paws. Then the mud has set. Then, the builders have also walked all over a muddy garden but have also already walked over the floor with sticky glue under their feet. They have then walked all over the floor on top of the muddy dog paws. Seriously, it is that bad.

Suffice to say, I hate the floor, now. I literally HATE IT with every fibre of my being. It offends me every time I walk in the door. I rue the day I ordered them.

To be fair to PS, I have not contacted them about it so they haven't had a chance to rectify it. But what would they do that would help? Short of paying to rip them our and replace them with something suitable, not a lot. Also, I have attempted to post 2 reviews on their website. Lo and behold neither have been published.

I will be looking into getting redress via the Consumer Rights Act 2015 because I do not believe they are as described. Of course, they're not availble on their website now - lucky for everyone else that may have considered buying them.

I just wish I could add photographs so you could see how bad they are!

Very happy with my experience with this company. Very positive and helpful. And answered any questions without any problems. Will definitely be using again.

Initial boxes arrived with some broken. Got in touch with customer support and they responded swiftly and sent some more. Lovely product, great service!

Great service. Particularly like the fact that they send you an example so you can see them in the flesh. Also the ability to put the tiles into one of your photographs is a great feature. Great choice of different styles and something a lot different from local DIY stores

I ordered two sets of tiles from Porcelain Superstore, I then had an email so say they would be in later that week and they would be in touch. They didn't contact me so I had to chase them up, every time I spoke to someone they would say a different time, but it appeared they were selling tiles they didnt have in stock and didnt make this known. Emily in customer service was NOT helpful and rather dismissive. They would tell me it was going to be delivered on a certain date, then when I contacted them I would be given a different later date. This was so frustrating as I had to delay my bathroom fitter a number of days so the job still isn't done as he had other jobs to move to. To add insult to injury, the box of terrazzo tiles I had ordered, half were smashed when I came to open them. It's such a shame as the tiles they sell are beautiful, but they are untrustworthy as a company.

I ordered some floor tiles which needed to be delivered by a specific date but there was going to be no one in to receive the order. Emily in Customer Services managed to sort the whole thing via e-mail very efficiently.

The ONLY tiles my very fussy wife liked only came from Porcelain Superstore - nowhere else stocked them. Emily from Porcelain Superstore was a stand-out star and really helped sort the order out! Thanks, will be returning!

Porcelain Superstore was excellent from start to finish. I was worried about my delivery and was expecting a pallatte. I am disabled and the courier could see my issues and took it on himself to take my order from the pallate and hand my order to me by hand. The website states that the company goes above and beyond for their customers, and I can confirm that they did just that. The tiles were exactly as shown on the website and the quality of the porcelain tiles were exceptional. I will definately be using them again and advise others to do so without hesitation. Emily and Liz were very helpful when I made a mistake with my order, and my worries were put to rest once they explained what I needed to do to return my items. I was lucky, as my tiler made it so I did not need to send them back, and I have a lovely new fireplace with the porcelain BRIX tiles. Thank you again!

Emily in customer service via email is amazing. An absolute star. However the samples take 10 days to arrive even though the despatch note is printed and courtier arranged, they are not picked up for about a week. Very annoying if you’re wanting to order quickly. The order did however arrive on the said day, all intact and none broken. So apart from the huge delay on the samples I’m very pleased. Emily needs promotion!

Ordered some large tiles which were delivered as expected. On unpacking them several had defects and on contacting Porcelain Superstore Lesley couldn't have been more helpful. We could still use them with some careful cutting but obviously we were taking a chance so were offered a full refund (and them being collected) or a refund of all the defective tiles (and we could keep them). This was offered with no argument. We took the latter option and we will use Porcelain Superstore again in the future. Customer service like this is hard to find.

I ordered tiles on 12 April to be delivered within the week. This could not be met as the tiles weren't in stock, although the website said they were. We then had to reschedule but they are still not in stock apparently. Six weeks later and we still don't have a delivery date. Terrible customer service.

Delivery due today. Time off work booked to be there. As it turns out, they don’t even have the tiles. There’s at least a month delay. Apparently I was sent the information. But actually wasn’t. For all the crap they go on about with their marketing, on how much it means to them and how much they care, they could at least sell you something they actually have. But no. They take your money for tiles they don’t even have.

From speaking to Liz who answered all my queries to receiving my samples and then order I've been really quite pleasantly surprised with this company. I'll be ordering more tiles from them in due course for my mothers home.

Like many others, I have experienced the same issue with tiles claiming to be in stock and then a magical 'delay' issue happens and my order cannot be fulfilled. This time they have been 'held at the port' and the company cannot provide an updated delivery time, meaning my kitchen fitter cannot finish the job. I ordered with plenty of time to keep my project to time and the company's failure has now blown that apart. A scam for taking money when they don't have accurate stock. Won't be using again and I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.

Quality okay for printed tiles - prices up 25% since December, and delivery for 2 boxes of tiles quoted at £36!
