Total lack of customer care. We do not recommend Poltronesofa. It is very happy to take your order and payment but does not care about something called customer service.
We ordered a sofa costing more than €5,000 from the Thonon-Les-Bains shop in France on 1 August. As we spend a lot of time overseas, we wanted to ensure that the sofa would could be delivered to our French home on a fixed date and were told this would be the week of 6 October.
As this date approached we contacted the store and asked to confirm a delivery slot so we could book our travel back to France. We were told the sofa would arrive at the depot on 3 October and were advised to contact the logistics company by email to arrange delivery.
We asked for help from the agent who sold us the sofa and she was disinterested. After several attempts her reply was direct: "Unfortunately, I do not manage the schedule of our delivery drivers."
By this stage we had booked our travel and explained to the logistics company that we wished to book delivery on one of three days. Unfortunately the only slot available was the day of our departure between 12 and 16h. We requested an early delivery and waited and waited. Eventually the delivery arrived at 16.25.
The two gentlemen were very pleasant but were not experienced at moving furniture. So we had a chaotic 50 minutes as they moved the sofa components to the first floor of our home. One package was dropped resulting in damage to the foot, which was repaired on site.
As we had to dash to catch our flight we had no chance to sit on the sofa! We raised a ticket on the poltronesofa website to complain, but they could not help and said they only deal with repairs to damaged sofas and suggested we contact the store.
The store is not interested in customer service, nor are the online team and the delivery team were not specialist furniture installers.
I am not sure what the value proposition of poltronesofa is, but it is clear it is not customer service and it is unlike every other furniture brand we have ever dealt with.

We received customer service from Limassol Cyprus store employee Akis, and it was more than helpful! He was full of joy, ready to assist, showed us all the options, shared his opinions, and guided us through the store. A true professional—funny, joyful, and an excellent salesman! Give this man a raise!

I purchased a sofa in store from Poltrone Sofa on 13/09/2025 im store in Malta and paid a 30% deposit. Only a few days later, due to a sudden change in my circumstances, I asked to cancel the order.
The store refused to refund the deposit, claiming the order “goes into production immediately.” However, they also told me I could change the model, which clearly shows that no production had started and no costs had been incurred.
While I understand that in-store purchases may not have the same cancellation rights as online or off-premises sales, I find this practice extremely inflexible and unfair. A 30% non-refundable deposit, combined with contradictory explanations, is not what I would expect from a reputable company.
I am escalating the matter with the MCCAA and would strongly advise other customers to be cautious before committing to a purchase.

Our sales consultant, Kylie, was extremely knowledgeable and immediately understood our needs.
