Incredibly quick to respond on web chat and helpful in resolving my query. Cannot fault the service I received.

Emily helped me in real time with resetting the car’s software (camera views didn’t work). Eventually the car reset itself the next day. Emily followed the initial query with an email to check on progress.

Do NOT Buy or Lease a Polestar
My experience with Polestar has been nothing short of unacceptable. The customer service is extremely poor, and the overall aftercare has been seriously disappointing.
I have been dealing with ongoing issues for well over a year with my top-of-the-range Polestar 2 Performance. Following a crash, the car has suffered repeated electronic faults, and the standard of repair work has been subpar at best. Despite raising these concerns multiple times, there has been little to no effective resolution.
What makes this even more frustrating is the complete lack of follow-through. I was offered a goodwill gesture back in February, which to this day I am still waiting to receive. On top of that, my car has been awaiting booking for further investigation since April, with no clear communication or urgency shown.
This level of service is completely unacceptable for a premium vehicle brand. The delays, poor workmanship, and lack of accountability have seriously undermined any confidence I had in Polestar.
I strongly advise others to think very carefully before buying or leasing from this company.

Had issues reconnecting the app to my car. I went through the process of unpairing my phone, reinstalling the app and then reconnecting to the car with the help of John in the polestar chat room. He was extremely helpful and we had it sorted in 15 minutes.
Although I was a little disgruntled about the initial issue, I can honestly say that the support I received to rectify the problem was first class.

My car suffered a charging issue, after being let down by my Local Volvo service centre I contacted Polestar support.
Polestar went above and beyond to assist me, arranging a hire car when the garage withdrew their courtesy car, following up with the repairing dealer and keeping me informed all the way through.
Top marks for customer service.

Overall, I’m very happy with my Polestar 3. It’s probably the best car I’ve owned in terms of build quality, handling, comfort and design. I’ve come from Tesla, Volvo and Audi, and I prefer the Polestar to all of them.
However, my experience with aftersales and servicing was not at the same level.
What should have been a routine software upgrade (Orin chip) turned into a nearly six-week period without my car, with limited visibility on progress and, at times, a lack of coordination between Polestar and the service centre. There were points where even Polestar support were unable to get a clear update.
It also highlighted a broader issue with the current servicing model. The reliance on Volvo service centres doesn’t always translate into a seamless Polestar experience, and in my case it felt like the connection between the two wasn’t as tight as it needs to be. Dedicated Polestar service capability would make a meaningful difference.
To their credit, once the right people became involved (shout out to Radia), things did move forward and the car was ultimately returned fully resolved. The loan vehicle provided was also of a good standard.
So my experience has been a mix: an outstanding product, but an aftersales process that still needs tightening, particularly around communication and coordination.
I would still recommend the car, but I hope Polestar continues to improve the ownership experience to match the quality of the vehicle itself.

High marks for Tayla for the quick and honest response to the. Global communication issues. Reinforced my belief that Polestar really does care about and does support its customers. Top brand up there with other quality brands like Lexus, my previous car. Tayla deserves individual recognition. Polestar 2 lrsm owner.

Although there was a last-minute delay with the delivery of my Polestar, I have to say the customer support throughout was excellent.
Tayla from Polestar Customer Support kept me updated at every stage, responded quickly to my questions, and genuinely tried to make the situation as smooth as possible. The communication was clear, professional, and proactive throughout.
A big thank you as well to the team at Polestar Maidstone for turning everything around so quickly once the car arrived. The handover was on time, efficient, straightforward, and the car was perfectly prepared for collection.
Most importantly — the car is fantastic and absolutely worth the wait. Very happy overall with both the vehicle and the level of customer care received.
Thank you again to Tayla and the Polestar Maidstone team for all your help and support.

The service I received from Polestar has been remarkable. I bought it from a third party dealer, and they've still been really helpful. Alice from the chat support has helped me resolve all my needs. I'm glad I decided to go with Polestar.

Sent this to Polestar on 12th May. Despite chasing still no response.
________\
Dear Polestar Customer Support,
I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding my leased Polestar 3 and the prolonged and unsatisfactory handling of a major fault, together with ongoing issues relating to the courtesy vehicle provided.
Vehicle details
Model: Polestar 3 LRDM
Registration: OW74**** (September 2024)
Delivery: End of June 2025
Breakdown and repair timeline
Less than six months after delivery, the vehicle broke down on 12 January 2026.
It took five days to recover the vehicle from the I********* to the nearest authorised dealer, Polestar ********.
A further two weeks were required to diagnose the fault.
I was subsequently advised that the vehicle requires a new front wiring loom, which is manufactured to order.
I have since been given a series of changing and increasingly extended timelines:
27 January: Front loom ordered.
Mid-February: Advised the part would arrive the following week.
Early March: Informed this was an error; revised estimate March/April (approximately 10 weeks from order).
Late March: Estimate revised again to May/June, attributed to logistics issues related to the conflict involving the US and Iran. This explanation does not appear credible, particularly as my own company imports from China and has experienced no such disruption.
Mid-April: Estimate moved to June/July.
Most recent update: Earliest possible repair date early July, which I reasonably interpret as likely to slip further.
At this point, my vehicle will have been off the road for six months or more, which I consider wholly unreasonable for a single repair attempt.
Courtesy vehicle issues
I have been provided with a Polestar 4 single motor as a loan vehicle. This is not an equivalent replacement for a Polestar 3 and has its own significant issues, all of which have been reported multiple times to both Polestar and LVH:
The vehicle has no effective connectivity.
Google Maps and any connected services do not function.
Despite repeated requests, no replacement courtesy vehicle has been provided. I have specifically asked for a Polestar 3 where possible, but these requests have not been acted upon.
Lack of communication and customer support
I want to be clear that I fundamentally like the Polestar 3. I moved to it from a BMW X5M and strongly prefer the Polestar. I was also a very positive advocate for the Polestar 3 on social media, including during the widely reported charging issues.
However, since January:
I have received not a single proactive update from Polestar, either from the dealer or central support.
I have had to chase every update myself, both for my own vehicle and the defective courtesy car.
As a small business owner, I fully appreciate that things can go wrong. What I cannot accept is being left without meaningful communication, support, or resolution for such an extended period.
Resolution sought
I have been told that I cannot reject the vehicle because Polestar is entitled to one opportunity to repair. I dispute that a repair process taking six months or more can reasonably be considered a single, fair opportunity.
I am now on the cusp of taking formal legal advice to seek either:
Rejection of the vehicle, or
A replacement Polestar 3 on reasonable and fair terms.
Before taking that step, I am invoking Polestar’s formal complaints process and asking for urgent intervention.
I would welcome:
A clear, credible, and binding timeline for repair or
A proposal for replacement or return of the vehicle, and
Immediate action to provide a fully functional and appropriate courtesy vehicle.
I look forward to a prompt and substantive response.

Connecting to the live chat was easy and straightforward, connected in seconds, asked a question and within minutes I had everything sorted, if only some other big firms could be as good as this with there live chat, Great Work Polestar

My call to Polestar support was answered immediately, (within about 5 rings), and Sam was incredibly helpful and patient with great knowledge of the car and it's systems. My issue was that the Polestar app was saying the car was offline when it was not but the issue meant the app was not connecting to the car. Sam helped me resolve it very quickly while I was on the phone. Very impressed with his efficiency.

Whilst it is disappointing to have an on board charger fault in the first place I can’t fault how Polestar dealt with it. Service booked, where the fault was fixed and swift reimbursement for all extra charging costs. Special thanks to Tayla at Polestar Support for keeping me informed throughout and reaching a swift resolution.

First class service. Phoned Polestar Support as I had just bought a new phone and couldn't get it to pair with the Polestar app (which I use a lot).
I spoke to John (In the Bicester office) who took me through the stages to pair - still no joy. He tried everything for me (including involving colleagues) and kept on going saying "I'm with you until the end." And he was. Finally sorted the issue (combination of car/phone and multiple installs/forget my device/uninstalls). John was very, very patient and his only agenda was to sort the problem. Fantastic service and a credit to the Polestar brand. Thank you.

Absolutely love my Polestar 4. I’ve now had two Performance Plus models and they’ve both been fantastic. The combination of performance, comfort, technology, and design is seriously impressive. The acceleration is effortless, the handling feels sharp and confidence-inspiring, and the cabin has that perfect minimalist premium feel.
What really stands out is how enjoyable the car is to live with every day — smooth, quiet, refined, but still exciting when you want it to be. The build quality has been excellent on both of mine, and the attention to detail throughout the car makes it feel properly special.
Polestar has absolutely nailed the balance between performance EV and practical luxury car. After owning two, I can confidently say I’d highly recommend the Polestar 4 to anyone considering one. Easy 5 stars.

I contacted Polestar support in mid-February as my EV had stopped charging via AC (unfortunately quite a common problem with the Polestar 3). Due to the protracted delivery timelines for the replacement part, this has taken 3 months to resolve. This unfortunate experience with the vehicle could have left a negative impression but as ever it is not the problem but how you deal with it that is important.
From the outset Emily was fantastic - always super responsive to my emails and very proactive in terms of chasing my local dealer for updates on the parts delivery and keeping me informed as to progress.
Of course I hope not to need to contact Polestar support again in future, but if the occasion does arise then I am sure I will be in good hands.

Once support ticket was acknowledged, communication from John (agent) was consistent and helpful. Dealership support was also excellent.
