Plowz & Mowz Reviews 

I wanted Plowz & Mowz to succeed. I gave them 3 years to prove themselves and they have been singularly consistent in one thing - incompetence.

From missed mows (the usual go to excuse given for the last year has been “provider had an equipment issue”), to not responding for hours, to not raking my lawn for the leaves service I hired and paid them for, to plows not showing up, to missing scheduled day after day after day (yes, not scheduled time but scheduled DAYS) Plowz & Mowz has almost been a clinical demonstration on how incompetence can somehow against all odds still run a terrible business.

Let me show you a review I had written for the lead removal I hired them for that I didn’t post to give you just a GLIMPSE into the train wreck that is Plowz & Mowz:

“This is a total scam. They sat on my $200.00+ for leaf removal for 2.5 weeks. They claimed the job was assigned 6 times and then 6 times it was delayed. Meanwhile we went from fall to winter. We are now getting 12” of snow on top of the leaves in my yard and I STILL have not received my money back they took for the job though the job is cancelled. Contacting attorney general, department of commerce and the CFPB.
UPDATE: they finally did have someone out and clean my leaves... 4 1/2 months after the date that I had hired them for. Literally 137 days late for their appointment. They gave me 30% off for my trouble”

Every single thing I am saying can be backed up with email after email after email after email from them - always with an excuse.

Tonight I finally got fed up and said “no more” and cancelled my (once again missed) mow, cancelled my weekly mowing service with them and am now taking to the internet as an evangelist against the rampant, nonsensical, dubious scam and ripoff that is Plowz & Mowz in the hopes that I can help someone much wiser than myself who actually reads reviews on these clowns to not waste their time, money and patience hiring them.

I literally can’t think of ANYTHING that I can say that will even scratch the surface on just how bad of a company this is - from bad customer service to inconsistent results to just not caring one bit about the damaged clients, driveways and lawns that they leave in their wake.

I guess the Better Business Bureau said it best when they REVOKED Plowz & Mowz accreditation.

Please for the love of God, do yourself a favor and AVOID this company at all costs. Tear up your lawn and rip up your driveway if you must - I promise you, it is better than the horrible experience that Plowz & Mowz will put you through!

Plowz & Mowz - simply put - does not value or respect its customers.

Horrible service. Never had debris blown all over my street and property. Usually give them 5 stars. Very disappointed this time. Contacted Plowz and Mowz and sent pics. Was told the provider will return. Waited a few hours. Checked back and was informed they will return in the morning. All set. Ended up cleaning up the debris myself.

Awesome and convenient service

They were able to turn my terrible lawn into a beautiful and well-kept place to rest. I found what I was looking for and I am absolutely satisfied.

Terrible service. They schedule the job and then cancel it repeatedly with no explanation or apology. I gave up. My coworker had a similar story, and another coworker incurred damage to their garage door which the company refused to fix.

Because of weather there were some scheduling issues. Plowz & Mowz support promptly resolved them and got me the info I requested. The work was done by "J", who did a great job!

This is a review of work done last April, and I submitted another service request today.

Charges way to much for grass cutting- like $50 for a quarter of an acre - a professional lawn company would charge between $30-$35 and does a much better job. Not worth it!

I called this service four times to plow my lot. On two occasions, one being this morning, they screwed me. They begin by taking the order, offering 'ASAP' as an option, communicate that they have found a contractor and promise a time when the contractor will arrive, then, they billed it. When the contractor doesn't arrive and you try to communicate through chat, they promise a new arrival time. When that doesn't happen, they apologize, then act like they contacted another contractor and they are on their way. This is two hours after making the initial order. The reality is, they promise that a contractor is on the way, but are waiting for contractors to take the job and that may or may not happen. The whole game is falsely promoted as an efficient service operation...it is not!! Avoid at all cost unless you want to get the run around.

Just used Plowz & Mowz last night at double the normal price I would contract for my driveway ($75 instead of $35 contract). The driveway was not backscraped, leaving 2 inches of now compacted snow, plus we were not asked to notbe cars around, so those areas have 4 inches or more left. P&M said the job was great and did not provide any resolution. Do not use them--no screening of subcontractors and then no customer service.

trouble service. I do not believe they screen any of their providers. I request a snow removal, and got a message job is done. However, the provider did absolutely nothing.

Horrible company . The plower destroyed my garden . When I complained to Plow and Mow they were very rude and completely unhelpful.
Avoid like plague . I will never use their services again.

Absolutely the worst service provider we have ever used. You should avoid this app and more importantly the complete lack of customer support behind it. We used these guys half a dozen times for various lawn services, and
there was a major problem EVERY SINGLE TIME. They never showed up when they were supposed to. They never communicated that they were just not going to show up. They always said they were sorry and would get someone out right away then again days later still no show. They never finished the job the first time. This last time it took them 5 DAYS to finish a simple mow. One time they said they were going to be there Thursday or Friday, then suddenly showed up Saturday evening at 8 pm while we had guests outside. They lied to me every time I messaged them. Only 4 people work here. The app tells you it's quick and convenient and that you are scheduled. Then when they don't show up support tells you they can't guarantee anything. WHICH MEANS THERE IS NO POINT IN USING THIS APP BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION. I
can't stress enough how much you will hate using Plowz and Mowz. Just look at all the other negative reviews saying exactly what I'm saying. UPDATE: LOL just look at their response here to my negative review. Blaming my location for their incompetence! We live in the second largest neighborhood in the largest suburb of Atlanta. 700 houses off a major highway. Every other lawn care provider has zero problems with where we live. This just shows you how these liars will spew excuses at you every time they disappoint you. Notice how they also point out they have more positive reviews than negative. Most of our recent reviews all say we suck and half our customers cancel, but hey give us a try! Besides all the negative reviews here, just Google them and see all the terrible customer experiences across the internet. Then look at their website and see how they only allow perfect 5 star reviews there. Says it all. These guys deserve to be put out of business.

theses guys don't stand by the work left 3 inches of snow on my drive way and tried to talk their way out of it

My fall leaf clean up and mow was scheduled one week ago. I received message one day about equipment failures, then another day bad weather and then no show. When I asked for a refund, I was told a manager would need to approve and call me back as the job was "assigned to a provider". I really just want my refund, ,please.

Good concept, terrible execution. Significantly more expensive than just hiring someone directly, but more importantly they are terribly inconsistent and, from my experience, have extremely poor customer service. Also, this isn't like Uber where they are empowering new service providers to enter the space and disrupt an existing model. They are just using existing contractors and charging a premium. Do yourself a favor and just call a landscaper/lawn service provider directly. You'll pay less, and you'll actually have a provider who values your business.

Reliable. Honest. Fair. You can schedule something on short notice. Communication from beginning to end of the job is great and they’ve done a great job every time.

Nobody showed up to do the work. No contact to let me know there is a delay. No contact other than to tell me the job had been accepted right after I placed the order. VERY disappointed.

I would like to rehire the last company that did my lawn and cut bushes. HAVE END OF SEASON 2 bushes to cut, and entire lawn cut, mulched, pick up any cuttings on the lawn. 40' x 80ft.
