Watch for hidden fees. A little scammy.

Setting up was easy enough, but they hide extra fees for services you didn’t request. For example: My first transaction was ach. Plastiq defaulted to “expedited” and was charged an extra fee. Help in getting it back is non-existent. Poor customer service.

I will never use this service again

I will never use this service again. I will never recommend this website. I will write a million reviews to make sure no one has to deal with the long wait and unanswered emails of wiring thousands of money and can’t get a resolution !!!

Can't get in touch with customer…

Can't get in touch with customer service to see if I can pause a payment that's supposed to be delivered in a few days. Repeat NO WAY to get in touch with customer service. Worse than Zelle even!

Too many rules on how you can use the…

Too many rules on how you can use the platform. When I used plastiq years ago the credit cards could be used to pay everything, now it is very limited on how you can use the cards.

Also, the plastiq fee is too high. The fee used to be more reasonable so the rewards rate would cancel out the plastiq fee. I do like the concept and plastiq is helpful if you want to hold on to your liquid capital for various reasons but there is too many stipulations on how each credit card can be used especially if you have your own business.

does what it says. there are fees i could avoid through paying thru my bank but i get points for using my cards. it's a good option to have at least. no issues after ish years

Tripled price overnight

Nice service, but they change rates with no warning. One day I pay a bill for 1% with my debit card, next day it costs 2.85%. Almost triple! How’s that for inflation.
