Born in 2008, from a journey of solo-travel and self-discovery, Pineapple Island exists to introduce the fashion industry to jewellery and clothing that won't cost the Earth.
With every product made, we enable sustainable job creation for our makers in Bali and the UK. By cutting out big factories, we get money directly into the hands of smart & resourceful artisans.
How we create
We are a small team based along the South Coast of the UK in the seaside town of Bournemouth. We work closely with a studio in the heart of Bali, where we have a full time designer and part-time group of outworkers who create Pineapple Island jewellery as a second income.
With our head designer in Bali, we work together to create affordable jewellery and clothing for our customers to look good and feel good!
What we create
From beaded anklets to waterproof bracelets, all of our products are surf and sunshine inspired. We have most recently launched an organic clothing line and 100% recycled plastic jewellery collection in partnership with Surfers Against Sewage. It is our goal to continue to work on creating products sustainably and to continue to collaborate with incredible charities across the UK.Contact info

I came across this shop in Bournemouth. The jewellery they sell is so nice. It has a real holiday vibe to it. I bought two bracelets, and I could of bought a lot more as there were so many things I liked.

Surfers Against Sewage
I bought an anklet from the Surfers Against Sewage collection for my wife's 65th birthday. Not only is this a great looking item, the most inportant factor was the sustainability factor. I love what you are doing with this collection to help tackle crisis we have created for our seas.

Bought from here a few times before and always a good experience with lovely, well made products with that sea and surf vibe. Items I have bought are well made and last, anklets I have purchased stand up to water and sea. Quick delivery and easy ordering.

Excellent customer service; emailed with a problem with an item and Penny organised a free replacement without having to return the broken item.
Absolutely recommend this company. Came across them at Boardmasters years ago and have bought some lovely pieces over time and this is the first item with an issue and the replacement service was excellent.

Ordered and received 3 braclets. Really good quality and value for money. As my spend was over £30 I was entitled to a free baseball cap which arrived with the bracelets, and again Really happy with it ☺️.

Not good customer service when incorrect item sent
Quick delivery & very helpful service when I placed my order then immediately realised my address was wrong, Penny responded that they managed to amend the address before my order was sent out. However when I received my order one item was incorrect. I emailed 3 times and never got a response back, not even an acknowledgement.

Customer Service (broken ring)
This has already been a few times I’ve purchased with Pineapple Island. One of the gem fell off my silver ring and so I contacted them. I just want to say how impressed I am with their retail customer service as they sent me a free replacement and a free gift as saying sorry. I am happy to say I will be continue to be a customer !! The products itself is of course high quality.
