Photoroom AI Background is just trash now. Ai should be moving forward not backwards

They recently switch to their own "UPGRADED" AI model as what the owner calls it and the app has gone down the drain. It creates unrealistic AI backgrounds, everything out of place and proportion. Owners refuse to change back to the older AI model even though tons of complains on their Facebook group.

They increased the prices on the users then gave them this absolute garbage AI model now. The app is unusable. Also they ban people who complain about this on their Facebook group.

Do not give your money to these scamming profit hungry people.

I paid for three weeks, but the pro-version never worked. I tried to follow the instructions to activate pro without any luck. I offered them evidence that it didnt work, but they only offered me another 1 week for free.

When you have a bug in your app that makes it impossoble use pro you cant charge money for it.

Horrible support. There are better options out there. Ill nevet use such a crappy app with these kind og bugs.

tried this app but its not very good, i then tried to cancel, impossible to cancel your account , no reminder sent then a year later get a bill for £56 , stay a way from this app.

I've been in the CG field for over 20 years, and those guys have the best background removal technique out there, surpassing even those who sit on the throne! I'm planning to subscribe yearly, but I hope I won't encounter any issues as mentioned in other reviews.

They WILL charge you even if you cancel before free trial ends

1000% a scam. Yes, the app works. But just know that you will continue to get charged EVEN AFTER cancelling. Their customer support is absolute trash. You only speak to bots that send you links to articles then when you say you need more help they claim that a rep will contact you by email but no one ever does!!! It’s impossible to get a hold of an actual person! I’ll get emails of all their little promos but never from their supposed rep. I was charged for MONTHS until I finally had to call my bank to dispute all the charges. DO NOT get this app there are plenty of other legitimate apps that work and won’t steal your money.

I purchased an account and changed phones now I cannot access my subscription and there is no customer support. I have to notify my credit card for fraud or deception

It´s all very sketchy, the app works, but the customer service doesn´t seem to understand that I want my account removed and stop trying to charge my card. There is no way to remove your payment information or to close your account, BE AWARE

saw the cool AI shadow effect, paywalled, got a free trial, the feature is extremely bad, cancels free trial, still charges me

Remove unwanted objects from your photos - The "Are you a robot" verification persists throughout the process and does not allow you to use the remover function properly as it keeps coming back over and over again. NO, I AM NOT A ROBOT now you can stop paying CLOUDFLARE for their useless app.

I got charged for a subscription I cancelled at the end of my trial. I have no access and I still got charged full price. I can’t seem to contact anyone in the site.

When I first started using this app I only used it for removing backgrounds but now I use it to REPLACE backgrounds. The backgrounds ai is brilliant and all the templates they have means it can boost sales for online stores.

Very nice app I have the paid version I use it for my social media in a few clicks the most beautiful backgrounds with instant backgrounds, I can't live without it anymore.

The customer service had never replied.it has been more than a week.my 3rd device didn’t work.so I wanted to get replied during the free trial.no answers!
So I had to cancel it and registered it again but they charged 10 dollars more
Why nobody takes care of the customers?

Joined up and paid no email confirmation no way of using. Absolutely livid. Clicked onto link and just get round swirling circle for hours

Although I have used the Pro version for 2 years I am close to closing my account. I am finding with every new update it is more difficult to use. At one time a couple of clicks would do what now take 5 clicks.

Good at generating images.

Not good for generating product backgrounds. Laggy, with a poor end result.

Uses payment details for a free trial and promises that they will remind you before the free trial ends. What really happens is that you don't even get a email confirmation of having set-up an account, or your trial starting, or your trial ending. Nothing at all until they charge you. Terrible practice that probably makes them tens of thousands a month.
