Long term customer
I have used Photobox many times years, I lake the quality & the customer service provided. I have two issues, I am unable to download your new online app as my computer is not suitable. Feel it should be available. More importantly, as usual I am extremely frustrated by your pricing policy, it is continually changing & I find it most frustrating not knowing when to purchase. I am a long term loyal customer & shouldn’t have to go though this everytime.

False delivery times
Do not rely on their arrival times for posting. Even if you pay for the fastest delivery mode, they say the dates are estimates. In my case, they sent the finished product to the Royal Mail on the day it was due to be delivered to me. Hence I did not receive it. It was for a friend's birthday and arrived several days later. They refused an apology or refund and said that their delivery dates were estimates. Avoid. I will not be using them again.

Estimated Delivery = Don't Expect It... Ever
I just read another review (Roseanna) and had a bit of a double take as it's almost exactly what I was about to write.
I ordered a book with plenty of time for the required date (13th August).
Standard delivery stated 10th August so I selected "Fast Track Delivery" (8th August) at checkout for a bit more breathing room.
As soon as I reached the payment confirmation the date had returned to the 10th August (I repeated the process to be sure I hadn't made a mistake). I continued though, as I thought a 3 day buffer was still good enough.
I got an email on the 6th saying that the book had been printed and handed over to Evri for delivery, and my heart sank. I remember the Hermes days - patchy delivery, parcels thrown over walls, dates missed and fulfilment systems that simply lie about dates. Hermes changed their name, but the Evri service is just as bad - I guess they must be very cheap for companies like Photobox to use them, though I expect the remedial costs outweigh the economy of using such a terrible courier (note: I'm NOT talking about the delivery staff here - this is an organisational problem).
I phoned Photobox (rather than engaging with a chatbot) and on the first call I was immediately cut off. The second attempt did yield a person but she was utterly unhelpful, simply pointing out that the terms of service state "estimates", nothing more. I need to wait 5 days before they'll investigate (by which time, as in Roseanna's case, it'd be too late for my wife's 50th).
And no; I couldn't have ordered it earlier - the book catalogues a very special holiday that we've only just returned from.
So I printed a page from the book an put that in a card, and waited for the real thing to arrive...
On the final day before Photobox would investigate I got an email from Evri saying they had the package and would deliver that day. 30 minutes later I got another email telling me "Your package has been destroyed". No other follow up. Unbelievable.
I phoned Photobox again and they were, frankly, useless. At one point the woman said they'd send a new book out "at no extra charge"... I almost lost it at this point. "No EXTRA charge??" for your abysmal service/supply chain selection. Unbelievable became laughable. I did get a refund on the "express delivery at least" and the book has now arrived. The book is actually good - but the experience overall was terrible. I have no doubt that other photo book services can manage good quality AND good service.
So my advice would be: Don't use Photobox. They have chosen an unreliable courier for delivery, and are unwilling to even /try/ to find a solution when they fail to meet their own estimates. Just fall back on "read our Ts and Cs".
Edit: The reply from Photobox below adds insult to injury. Maybe check that the customer care link works before you suggest it? "Page not found". Embarrassing.

I feel you could do better
You delivered these very quickly and the colour quality was good, however, clearly a few staff don’t know how to centralise a photo eg on cushions; on canvases. This meant that a perfectly lovely photo ended up with the baby’s face at the edge of the cushion which as you might imagine didn’t bode too well. For an expensive item, I expect people to take care of what they’re doing. Having spent many years in photography, including with Kodak, in their main labs and mini labs, I actually do know what I’m talking about. So please, next time, do think about how the item may look in someone’s home. It may be the only photo they will ever have. The canvas was similar.
Update following Photobox reply to my review: unbelievably the person who wrote the reply clearly hadn’t read my review properly, blaming new machinery and getting used to it and thanking me for my patience. I don’t need patience to see that staff at photobox aren’t able to centre a photo correctly on a cushion or canvas. If it’s new machinery, then play around with it until you know what you’re doing, you shouldn’t be plonking some poor operator on it without adequate training :(
I won’t be using photobox again

Lovely to see my memories
I found the website easy to use, on the whole. Very quick and professional service. Longest delay seemed to be due to the carrier getting the product to me. Lovely quality and made affordable with the promotion.

A quick and professional service delivering our book of holiday photos promptly after ordering. The photos look good and serve as a great reminder of our fabulous trip.
The software is flexible and intuitive to help with design ,with helpful prompts to support checking any issues in the formatting.
Fairly easy to use once the new software is downloaded.
Once I got my heard round the off-line editing, everything was much as usual. Took a while to see where to get a solid page colour, and didn't register I had not changed the cover accordingly.
Did the job beautifully !

Excellent product with an easy to construct photo album. The finish of the album was really good and the album itself very sturdy.

Shipping..Sending an Album of over £60 in a single cardboard envelope is a bit poor. Mine arrived punctured, dented etc, Album had just got away with the journey. The Album itself was not the colour I expected in regards to colour matching and I understand monitor colour and printing colours cannot be an exact match but this was way apart.Having made over 30 Albums, I think there should be more examination by opperators to see if the photos in the Book actually look like the originals.
