Pet protect is excellent!
Pet protect is such a great insurance company! They’ve never let me down once with my dog. They’ve paid the vets directly and it’s been completely seamless. I have 2 dogs, one is never at the vet, and the other one is always at the vets. Both insured with pet protect and will always be insured with them as will any future pets I have! I highly recommend them!

You weren’t going to pay at first
You weren’t going to pay at first, but the vet emailed you so then you did. Our policy then renewed and so you stopped paying, even though it was clearly the same condition being treated on a weekly basis. You said we had to start again and that we didn’t meet the minimum amount. We both feel that is very unfair and we wouldn’t recommend you to anybody

We really can't fault this insurer
We really can't fault this insurer. The premium was reasonable for the age of our dog and, when we needed to claim recently, they dealt with it swiftly and the money was back in our bank in rapid time.

Had to claim for some recent vet fees…
Had to claim for some recent vet fees after it turns out something he swallowed had caused a blockage, and I was a little surprised that they wanted my dog's full medical history when I already sourced the invoices for the actual treatment received. Seems a bit overkill, but once the claim was submitted, it didn't take long to be approved and subsequently paid into my account, so buy and large it was quite positive.

No issues with claims
We have made 3 claims in the last few years and all have been paid without any questioning, minus the expected excesses etc. The process is very easy and we've been very grateful to have our pooch covered
