I found the soles on the walking shoes…
I found the soles on the walking shoes have no grip on smooth surfaces , dangerous on wet manhole covers and tiled floors ,very little flex and quite heavy will take to the charity shop after only three weeks very disappointed as they weren't cheap definitely won't be buy Peter Storm footwear again.
Avoid storm shoes at all costs
Avoid storm shoes at all costs. I bought a pair, and within a matter of weeks the inners all collapsed where the heel sites. Unfortunately I didn’t keep the bill. So couldn’t return them. Very poor quality product.
Leaking boots
Bought a pair of Peter Storm walking boots for £75. The first time I wore them in the rain they leaked and I had soaking wet feet all day. I applied dubbing and wore them again today in the rain. Again, leaked and wet feet. So disappointed. Would love to know if anyone makes boots that are actually waterproof.
very dangerous footwear and uncontactable customer service
I got my friend some Peter Storm walking shoes. They have "StormGrip" soles. When the weather is wet and he crosses any metal surface (eg manhole cover) the soles slip dangerously. The Peter Storm website has a long menu of topics on their contact page but not a single one is relevant to giving this feedback or raising a complaint. Its a pity - the shoes seemed great when they first arrived, but I note the low review scores here and we won't purchase Peter Storm again.
Awful walking shoes
Bought some budget walking shoes - awful letting in water after 3 months and after 5 the sole is now flapping off the shoe, so I've put them in the bin & will not buy any more Peter Storm items.
Unreliable brand
Had several Peter Storm coats over the years which lasted either couple months or one year being my latest one the Parker jacket (coat)...had problems with the zip from very start as it's difficult to engage both zips tags as it has double zip ...
Finally on struggling recently trying to get coat zipped up eventually now does not zip up and thus just splits open...
Now having to search out alternative as this is final time as I'll no longer purchase any Peter Storm coats as they're just unreliable made....the material is ok,it's just the bad quality zips that seem to let them down as they just simply fall apart in no time...
Very bad quality brand if you call it a brand at all!
Utterly terrible walking boots
Utterly terrible walking boots, on my third pair (because I'm cheap...) And longest they've lasted is 4 months before splitting at the seams. £60 material rather than leather mid/high rise boot.
Avoid!!!!
Waterproofs ripped down one seam on day one
Got PS waterproof trousers for Christmas, first trip out the right leg seam ripped open from crotch to knee, sizing is appealing, usually a size 8 but these were right at a size 12, generally these are absolute garbage, don’t waste your money, esp when you can get much cheaper waterproofs that will last you a lot longer than one day.
Cheap crap, don’t buy!
I purchased a 2-in-1 waterproof jacket and fleece for use in rainy weather around town. The poor quality zip broke within a few wears, rendering the jacket completely useless. It’s in the bin now and I’ll be buying from a more reputable brand next time!!
Do not buy.
Bought walking boots for £80 half price and was still robbed. 3 months and minimal use later the soles split from the already perishing uppers to reveal the sole is a hollow pressed out shape glued to cardboard with the uppers just glued on top. Not a stitch connecting the whole lot together and abysmal quality materials used. Garbage.
Fabric of clothes is third class
Fabric of clothes is third class. I have purchased last month and wear only 1time and it seems that this is a local brand clothe and they purchased from there and selling to the customer. I am very disappointed. Bad experience and I will never shop or any purchase from peter england.
Non waterproof waterproof
Bought a man's waterproof jacket with inner fleece. Had it for about a year now, but whilst generally fine in light rain and summer, it's not good in more severe weather - got soaked last time I went on a hike and the heavens opened. Zip is also very awkward and not robust.
Very poor walking trainers
Very poor walking trainers. One of the lace eyelets snapped off after only a few days of use. I contacted the company who wouldn't even consider replacing them as I hadn't bought them (my partner bought them as a present). This used to be a good company proud of it's brand, how times have changed.
Boot stitching split after 11 months…
Boot stitching split after 11 months tread perfect but now useless
Bought a pair of Peter Storm boots in…
Bought a pair of Peter Storm boots in April 2024 to use when I’m walking my dog around the village green in poor weather. They didn’t last six months before the soles became unstuck and the thin leather outer skin creased and split in several places. They are absolutel rubbish and a complete waste of money,
Very disappointed with Peter Storm…
Very disappointed with Peter Storm walking shoes.
They have only been worn a few times on paved roads and while the shoes are still practically new the fabric just to the front of the laces has worn through with two holes on each shoe.
This is obviously a design flaw and is due to the shoe material flexing.
I contacted their customer support but with no success.
I'm really disappointed on peter storm
I'm really disappointed on peter storm, I buy a walking shoe in showroom for £40 and its hurts me a lot, can't able to feel comfortable, I just buy this on last week only and just wear only one day, £40 worth comes waste of money as well leg hurting and foot hurting too much.
The shoes are very poor quality and not…
The shoes are very poor quality and not worth the price. The clothes and hoodies are OK, otherwise this would be a 1 star review.
Awful quality shoes
After less than a month the support under the heel of the walking shoe has perished and collapsed. The worst walking shoes I’ve ever owned, awful quality and not worth buying at any price.
Do Not Waste Your Money On Their Boots
Bought a pair of the Peter Storm Boots for Dog walking everyday and haven't lasted 3 months. Supposedly waterproof which they are not and now the soles have come unstuck.
Absolute rubbish......be warned!
