From first viewing to initial processing staff have been so helpful and gone that extra mile to help me get the home I wanted. I couldn’t be more grateful for the support shown.

Everything was explained in detail, how the process of purchasing new goes, from start to finish, and what options can happen at what stages etc. Very polite and professional. The aftercare looks brilliant. Really glad to have taken Persimmon as our move forward in life.

Persimmon do not deliver on their promises. My family and I bought our Persimmon home from new 9 years ago, when our children were just 18months old. Every step of their after care, and the whole community in this estate would agree, has been terrible.
As soon as Persimmon sold the last house, they moved onto the next project without any consideration for the parklands, pathways, parks, community fields and buildings that they promised. Our local councillors and MP’s have been chasing them continuously.
Thankfully we finally have the parks and pathways (although not in the best condition) However the community field and building still hasn’t been fulfilled. The field is currently massively overgrown, and planning permission still hasn’t been submitted for the building. The local children of this estate have missed out on years of fun thanks to the incompetence and ignorance of Persimmon.

From the very first interaction to us completing has been nothing but amazing. extremely good customer service thank you both Ehrin and Hayley, we have been very well looked after. Any question we had they where to answer it regardless if it was a little or big. The support has been amazing specially since it has been our first home we have bought, highly would recommend.

We moved into our Persimmon home at Whitmore Place almost a year ago, and unfortunately the lawn issue is still not resolved.
The grass was already in poor condition when we moved in, and this was raised and recorded at handover. We were told that if the turf did not establish properly within a few months, it would be reviewed and replaced.
Since then, we have followed the advice given, maintained the lawn properly, and allowed enough time for it to improve. However, almost a year later, the lawn is still very patchy, with soil visible across large areas.
There have been several emails, visits and temporary fixes, but no proper long-term solution. I have now been told that a quote has only just been sent for approval, which is disappointing considering this issue was highlighted from the very beginning.
Buying a new home should not mean spending nearly a year chasing a basic issue like this. The delay and lack of clear progress have been very frustrating.
I have now escalated this formally to Persimmon Customer Care and hope Whitmore Place management can finally resolve this properly. I will be happy to update this review if the turf is replaced and the matter is handled properly from here.

James and Ben the technicians were polite and helpful. Carried out work required asking me questions about what I wanted done.
Left house tidy and clean and explained what would happen next.
Would have been 5 stars if someone had told me they could not attend 9.00 appointment due to emergency.

I purchased my Persimmon home from the 1st occupier, and the property was exactly 2 years old and out of warranty when I moved in. I expected it to be built to a high standard, but I've been left extremely disappointed by both the quality of the workmanship and the aftercare.
My property, along with many others on the development, appears to be suffering from ringing around the brickwork (commonly referred to as "ringing" or "ring pit" on the brick faces), suggesting a widespread issue rather than an isolated defect. What's even more concerning is that I've noticed the same problem on properties that have been completed within the last six months, indicating this may be an ongoing construction or materials issue rather than something affecting only older homes.
When I raised my concerns with Persimmon, they dismissed the issue because my property is outside the two-year builder warranty. Rather than investigating whether this is a wider defect affecting multiple homes on the estate, the response was simply that it was no longer their responsibility and to contact Premier Guarantee.
While I appreciate that warranties have limits, build quality issues that appear across numerous homes, including newly built properties, shouldn't simply be ignored because a date has passed. A responsible housebuilder should be willing to investigate recurring defects and stand behind the quality of its workmanship, particularly where there is evidence that the same issue continues to appear on new homes.
Buying a new-build home should provide peace of mind, not ongoing concerns about build quality and a lack of support once the initial warranty expires. My experience has left me questioning Persimmon's commitment to quality and customer care long after the sale has been completed.

Been in the house over 2 years and recently had to have a toilet replaced which was not placed back where it originally was. James and Ben came out to do the floor sealant around the toilet and were both very polite and helpful and gave advice on the final appearance of the sealant. First time we have had technicians that have been so friendly and helpful whilst doing a job and we have had quite a few over the last 2 years, such an improvement on the technicians we have had in the past. Need more technicians like this that do a good job as well as being polite and friendly.
