Half term Feb 2025 at Shorebreak, Constantine Bay
We spent half term at Shorebreak with our adult/teenage kids. The house is beautiful with stunning views of the sea at Constantine Bay. It’s a short walk down to the beach so summer months will be a treat. The house is really spacious and very modern with excellent bathrooms and decor. Two ovens, two fridges, wine fridge and boiling tap. We did lots of walks over the golf course to Harlyn Bay and also to the Cornish Arms (Rick Stein). We also used the buses into Padstow easily picked up from outside the shop at Constantine (about a 5 mins walk from the house). We were very organised and booked all our restaurants in advance. Great concierge service from Perfect Stays (they will book tables for you) They were often in communication to check all was ok. We’ll be back! Thank you.

Perfect Stays and Shun Lee - both have the wow factor!
Arranging a holiday with Perfect Stays was an excellent experience from start to finish. Fantastic customer service before during and after.
The house Shun Lee was simply beautiful and had the wow factor - a brilliant place to spend a celebration birthday with loved ones.
Situated on the cliff overlooking St Ives at the Portminster Beach 'end', a path led from the bottom of the garden and snaked it's way down the cliff through the woods and onto the beach. An out of season dream Cornish location.
The house itself was beautifully decorated and was big enough for our extended family - the fab dining room allowed all 13 of us to sit down together. The kitchen was fantastically equipped for a large party and was so spacious.
We used the Perfect Stays Concierge Service to arrange a Chef to come in and prepare the birthday dinner. Chef Caitlin Prees @TheCerenityChef was brilliant to work with and we can recommend her 100%.
when one of the two dishwashers broke down, the housekeeper service arrived within the hour to fix it for us - I mean how good is that!
Anyway, one very happy family, one fantastic holiday - take a bow Perfect Stays!

Very satisfied guests who would like to return sometime
Salt Spray in Porthlevan proved to be an ideal location for a January break. Friendly locals, including a group of hardy (mostly) ladies who were to be found swimming in the outer harbour at daybreak each day; an Independent supermarket that supplied all our food needs and more, and coloured lights all around the harbour which were turned on every evening as the light faded..... and Salt Spray was only a 5 minute stroll away in an enviable position, looking down on sand and sea and the southwest coast path.
As for Salt Spray itself, the house provided a level of comfort beyond what we could dream of. First class insulation (very important for a January stay!), a lovely big open-plan living area with picture windows framing views of the sea and access to a balcony for even better wave watching. The kitchen area was equipped with everything - and more - that anyone could want and sufficient technology for us to get to grips with and keep our relaxed brains alive. We cooked for ourselves every evening, it was a pleasure.
The walking around Porthlevan is superb. We walked east and west on the coast path and inland. It was a pleasure to return to Salt Spray and en-suite showers, to cook for ourselves in the dream kitchen and collapse in the very comfortable beds usually by 9pm.
Had the weather been bad, we would have made more use of the big TV in the living room and the games, books and second TV provided downstairs.
All in all a memorable week in an exceptionally comfortable and well-apointed property.

DO NOT stay at SEA BREEZES
DO NOT stay at the property SEA BREEZES, Daymer Bay, Cornwall.
The owner kept us waiting 3 weeks and then took our entire deposit and made false claims/reasons as to why they are keeping it with no evidence provided, outrageous!
We have used Perfect Stays many times before and never had this happen ever before!
We will never use your company again thanks to your property owners, which is such a shame!

Thank you for leaving us this feedback after your stay at Sea Breezes, though we’re disappointed to see it was posted before your conversations with our team had ended.
At all our properties, the owner’s property management team take a great deal of care to ensure everything’s been left in a tidy and respectful manor after one set of guests depart and before another set of guests arrive. However, as discussed with you, the owner’s property management team found this not to be the case when completing the changeover following your stay.
We’d never retain a guest’s security deposit without evidence, so in line with our security deposit process, the owner’s property management team provided us with multiple photos of the damage that had been caused and the additional cleaning that was required after your stay. Our team then passed these photos onto you and explained why your security deposit had been put on hold. There was a three-week window where our team were awaiting the final costs from the owner’s property management company before confirming the charge, however we were in touch with you regularly during this time.
We’re disappointed that you won’t be returning to our properties in the future, but we appreciate your feedback nonetheless.

We have used Perfect Stays for holiday rentals in West Cornwall every year for the past six years and have always found the team to be professional and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble, and the property management company they use - Coastal Keeping - deserves recognition too. Top marks to both companies, and I would whole-heartedly recommend booking a holiday through Perfect Stays. Finally - our two dogs love their Perfect Stays Cornish holidays as much as we do!

Avoid Baobab and don’t use PERFECT STAY stay.
Probably the worst company I have dealt with in my 60 years.
Our accommodation cost £12000 and we experienced so many issues. The company tried to keep our deposit citing that we smoked in the house but non of us smoke. They accused us of damaging the property but they didn’t do a check in inventory .
The property lacked sufficient hand rails around the house, the pool area was unfinished , there was no table tennis , the lounge had a bucket to catch the leaks in the lounge.
This was a very special occasion as it was my 60 th and an opportunity to celebrate life as I have stage 4 cancer.
My nephew has a toddler and I have mobility issues and the house was not suitable for us . I flagged the issues on many occasions .
The house was not fit for purpose and was dangerous.
The Baobab in Padstow is a house to avoid and the company are also one to avoid.
We asked for compensation which fell on deaf ears.
Apologise if the English isn’t perfect as I am dyslexic

As discussed within recent months, our team were aware that the reason for your stay was a very special birthday and a celebration of life. However, we feel it’s important to re-iterate that no clear guidance was given to us on the extent of mobility limitations you’d need to consider at this property. This is also something we wouldn’t feel fair or appropriate to make an assumption about – our team can only provide the best possible guidance on the information they’re given. It goes without saying that if you had informed us you required the use of handrails, we would have informed you before booking whether this was or wasn’t the case at this particular property. As discussed with you, The Baobab was the initial property you had already selected from our portfolio of over 80 properties, rather than it being suggested to you.
We genuinely appreciate your feedback towards this property not being suitable for disabled guests. We pride ourselves on providing helpful and accurate details about the accessibility of our properties. It’s why we include extensive image galleries, detailed property descriptions, and tailored accessibility notes on every property listing on our website. On the “need to know” tab of The Baobab for example, we state “There are steps around the internal and external areas of the property”, and “If you’d like to check any specific information that may not have been covered in our descriptions, please call us to speak to our Property Advisors”. Therefore, we’re confident we provided suitable accessibility information before booking.
Your refundable security deposit was put on hold after the owner’s housekeeping team found evidence of smoking (cigarette ends inside and outside the property) while carrying out the changeover after your stay. As discussed, there were also multiple cleanliness issues and areas of damage found after your departure, which required additional time to rectify.
As evidenced following your stay, the pool area was fully functional, and signed off by an external health and safety professional. It’s also been enjoyed by multiple guests, with no similar feedback. The table tennis table had been listed as a facility on The Baobab’s property listing. While this unfortunately wasn’t available during your stay, the owners also provided a pool table to ensure guests weren’t without a similar facility. Again, we’re very sorry you don’t feel this was sufficient.
We recognise the leak in the living area was an unfortunate and unforeseen maintenance issue. While the owner’s property management company regretfully weren’t able to fully rectify this during your stay in July, they were able to limit the impact, and checked in regularly to offer further assistance.
Overall, we’re sorry you were disappointed by your experience at this property, but appreciate your detailed feedback nonetheless.

I cannot begin to tell you how magical…
I cannot begin to tell you how magical it was to stay at Owl's - we went to celebrate my husbands 50th and it couldn't of been better. The Facilities are first class, exceptionally clean, spacious and just utter luxury. So much so we have booked again for December 2025. We literally can't wait to return. Highly recommend. The service from Perfect Stays is 5 star. You cannot go wrong if you book to stay here.

Fantastic stay at Tater Du. Great location. The photos don't do the garden justice. The long reed grass have grown since the photos were taking make the garden feel magical and secluded.

A great Christmas Holiday
Three generations of our family has a great Christmas break at SunnySeven. The house has been modernised to the highest specification, the log fire was excellent. The boys enjoyed enjoyed tennis and darts, we all enjoyed the location and had a family swim on Christmas Day.

Deposit Robbery
Deposit Robbery. Our whole deposit was withheld as a result of damage that took place prior to our visit, and with no evidence to support that the damage was not there prior to our check in, over £1,000 was taken from us. Very unsatisfactory, and would urge caution as there is no tenant protection (Ombudsman etc.) that you can fall back on.
Contrary to response below, there was no photographic evidence as suggested, simply a retrospective letter (in haste) saying that they didn't notice anything before. Regrettably, we reported the damage once we noticed it - punished for our honesty!

First time used Perfect Stays. Stayed with family in Nightjar. This property is the best house we have stayed in! Kitchen fantastic, log fire fantastic, plenty of logs. Hot tub brilliant with great views as has rest of house . Fixtures and fittings are superb and everything is of high quality. Lighting is really effective. All in all I would use Perfect Escapes again without doubt. Lovely follow up call when we were here which was appreciated. Leanne property manager very helpful. We had a wonderful stay at Roscarrock with Perfect Stays. The house was fantastic for two families and so well presented. Excellent Choice for family holiday
We made an excellent choice to have Clifftop as our family holiday this year. Ideal for all ages with exceptional facilities and equipment. Stunning views and only a few minutes walk to the beach.
We were disappointment not to be able to book for the same week in 2025 and not giving the option upon leaving. So book early!
