Long term customer- Not anymore
I have been a customer of Pear Stairs for many years - Not anymore following a phone call today with Lee Jones their Director (after chasing a week on)
Critical items were left of my delivery, yes things go wrong but a simple phone call or email would have avoided wasted time and cost with installation. This mistake by Pears cost me £350 but Lee thought it unreasonable that i should ask for this to be covered.
Whilst I accept effort was made to send the missing parts no effort was made to make me the customer aware which would have avoided this issue. Relying on a couriers txt message is not good customer service.
A discount off my next order will not pay the fitters who lost half a day onsite.
I think Lee needs to review his profile on the company website as this is not my experience.

Product is good as is the sales process and pricing, but you only get to test the metal of a company when something goes wrong.

I am the Managing Director of Pear Stairs and care very much about our reputation. In this case I don’t see how we deserve a one star review.
The staircase delivery was made up of 18 packs. A delivery was made for which you signed for all 18 packs. I have a copy of your signature.
In fact, only 17 packs had been delivered. We tried to deliver the final pack the next day but your factory was closed. We delivered again the following day and completed the delivery.
You then say you want £350 but you were unaware there was even a missing pack.

We used Pears for our new build…
We used Pears for our new build project, the stairs was a key part of our build which we wanted to get right and the team delivered an excellent product at a great price, the after sales support was also great which is really important when your doing something bespoke.
