Every ingredient is top-notch! However, sometimes the delivery is late, and they don’t give any compensation for that, should work on that.

It was in late , like 45 mins and after all the driver was rude . A d when I told them I'm gonna complain, the man on the phone told me me , ok , ot is alright, everyone complain.... I Payed a lot of money for something I don't know what I received... it is pizza or spit? I couldn't eat anyway

I worked for a Papa John’s franchise in Sumqayit, Azerbaijan, and I was forced to leave due to unethical and illegal treatment of employees.

My contract location was changed without consent, paid leave was not granted, and employment agreements were handled verbally without documentation. The number of documented employees differs significantly from the actual workforce.

These practices violate the Labor Code of Azerbaijan and international labor standards.

I have submitted a formal complaint to local authorities and attempted to contact Papa John’s International privately, but there has been no response yet.

I am sharing this publicly in hopes that the company will take responsibility and enforce proper compliance from its franchisees.

Papa Johns located at 4525 Rigsby Avenue, San Antonio, Texas, on July 4th, I ordered a pizza. The manager there called me and stated the Door Dash Driver had stolen my pizza, I asked if they required help, she stated yes, come in monday. Instead I put my boots on and went in ready to work. She stated I was hired, put my insurance, license, in the system and had me send all my information to her district manager. She stated that I would receive a email with onboarding paper work I needed to fill out at the email I provided. I did not receive the email. I tried to call, went in, people there had no clue, dates I was told to be there, the manager wasn't there. Repeatedly I was told, they were sending the onboarding paper work to my email, could take up to two hours, another manager stated ten minutes. Two different emails and two weeks later, I never received the onboard paper work to fill out, I was strung along with excuses day after day. They have a NOW HIRING sign on the widow board, 12 to 18 dollars per hour. Come to find out, it's dishonest, it's 9 dollars in store, and 6 dollars per hour when driving, plus tips. After two weeks, they have not honored their statement, "Your hired."

I sought the district manager for Rigsby, and ended up calling 1714 Southwest Military Drive, San Antonio, Texas. I was trying to get some accountability for the lack of fulfillment of their end when they stated, "Your hired." The manager of this store then said, "What if I offered you a job here, would you be willing to drive for this store?" I replied, "I'd love to drive for you." I went in, my driving information was already in the system from the prior store. His statement was, "You will receive the onboarding paperwork in 30 minutes to 2 hours." All day saturday, I waited for that paper work, I did not receive it. More importantly, I tried calling the store, pressing 5 to speak with the manager. I sat on hold, nobody would answer the phone. Around 12:30pm on Saturday, July 20th, I had driven back to the store, and I pointed out the phone was not being picked up, he replied he had not received any calls, I showed him my call log. I stated, "I did not receive the paper work." He explained the District Manager who is responsible for emailing the paper work was in Florida, and doing inspections. I replied, "Ok, lets see what tomorrow brings. I can understand someone is busy." At 1300 on Tuesday, I called the Papa Johns store, I spoke to the Day Manager, I stated and asked, "I still have not received the onboarding paper work. Can you please text the District Manager and ask him to send that paperwork? I don't understand why he can't take 3 minutes out of his schedule to send the paper work so I can begin driving for you." He did talk with the district manager, came back and stated, "I spoke with the District Manager, he said there is no availabiltiy, try back in a month or two and we'll get you started then."

Do not work for this company, they are absolutely dishonest. I spent time, money, gas on a guaranteed position. When a employer states they are hiring you, we are sending you paperwork to fill out, that is a comittment of employment. I am 47 years old, and never have I had any employer behave in this fashion. When a employer sais you have the job and shakes on it, there is the expectation to follow thru. You have been warned, these are absolute dishonest, disreputable and disrespectful people who do not follow thru for whatever reason. They basically string you along, just in case someone else doesn't work out, on a comittment to employ you.

I have been here for four years. In the four years I have only ordered my pizzas from the location on Rigsby avenue. Out of all the orders, this location has only gotten two of my orders 100% correct. The rest have ranged in problems from half cooked food, non-delivery of side items purchased, incorrect orders, incorrect ingredients, failure to deliver, delivery after two hours or more, cold pizzas, and more. It got so bad, I finally told the manager at that location, if you do not get my orders right, I will not be ordering from you anymore. You are going to lose my business.

These Papa Johns are in San Antonio. They are Franchised by NSM Merchant Services Inc. The district manager of the 1714 SW Military Drive Location, San Antonio, Texas is one Sameer Merchant. I was unable to find the district manager for the Rigsby Location. If you manage to gain employment there despite their shady employment practices, considering how shady they are, you work for them at your own risk. These are the kind of companies and employers that harm their employees,

Would give a 0 if I could. This pizza has to be the worst pizza I have ever had. Ordered the Shaq-A-Roni pizza. Their picture shows alot of pepperoni on it and cheese. Mine came with less than half of their photo and almost no cheese. Worst pizza I have ever had. They do not give you like the photo. Not even half.

I placed an order May 21, 2025 @ 2:09PM at the Papa Johns located at
2430 S Interstate 35 E. Denton, TX 76205. I arrived at the location to see a young lady preparing pizza's. I stood there in SHOCK she was using her bare hands (NO GLOVES) picking up different ingredients and putting them on the pizza. Once I got her attention to get my pizza she brought it to me and went to the back behind a door and then came out with her phone in her right hand texting then she continued to pick up ingredients again and place them on the pizza she was preparing. I called her over to the counter and I asked her about wearing gloves..."So you don't wear gloves while preparing pizza?" Nonchalant she just stood there. I politely said " I Do Not Want This Pizza Just Refund Me. Thank you.. JUST NASTY.. Moving Forward I'm reminded to just PREPARE My OWN FOOD. I can't begin to tell you how disgusted I am just thinking about it.

They told US 15 minutes for the pizzas, we waited more than 1 our and half and the shop was empty, never again

ordered online. when it said ready to collect so...i did so but pizza barely started. had to wait another 10 minutes. if you are going to lie this blatantly to your customers don't get an app to do the lying for you.
very very mediocre pizza after all that.

This is a Google issue as much as it's a papa johns issue. Get the store hours right, or don't bother, because it says open until 1 am, but you have to click again to see that this store stops serving at 10:40 pm? Can we have tech that works?

Advertise a spicy pizza it’s as spicy as my mums toe nail what a rubbish pizza

Did not receive what I ordered. Ordered extra large All The Meats pizza with Spicy Italian Sausage and onions added to it and had it delivered. I didn't receive an All The Meats that I ordered but ended up receiving a cheese pizza with a few pieces of regular Sausage and some onions on it and no other Meats. VERY disappointed.

I have watched the Latest Papa Johns TV Commercial several times and was NOT Impressed With The Scraggly Looking Crew on the job in that advertisement.... It makes me wonder about the people that are preparing the Pizza for my Family and Friends at Papa Johns ? NOT GOOD.....

Waited over hour and 20 min for my pizza ran the store 3 times and the person in charge cut me off put the phone down and wouldn’t answer again so I made a complaint to papa johns twice guess what no email of any kind mount of money your paying for papa johns now they should be emailing or ringing us just want to take your money so keep away rude expensive and no help at all

On 12/31/2024 we ordered food online through store 2684. We received another customer's order instead. We attempted to call the store, but they would not answer the phone. We contacted customer service online, who also was unable to contact the store. Customer service then stated they would send a gift card to us as a refund. They did not and have since denied they agreed to do so. I guess Shaq decided he need an extra $43.067

Called the store to ask for half pepperoni half back on and the guys said no . Because it was a n uber order he also hung up on me it was the eglington and confereration store . Then they sent me an open 2 l bottle of pop in the bag with a puddle the dips were swimming in it , the pizza was horrible, cold , barely any toppings , hardly any cheese . Cardboard! Never order from them . Garbage. Nasty I am not joking!

If I wanted pizza without tomato sauce and with paper thin dried out pepperoni, I would go to Dominos! I thought for a while my local Papa John's was maybe training new employees who couldn't get it right. But now, with a simple google search, I see it's actually their national BUSINESS MODEL!
For years I didn't mind paying for the most expensive pizza around because it was thick, moist, had fresh vegetables and meats, the sauce was the foundation of the delicious flavor and frankly, it was just better pizza.
But now they're sending me this tasteless dried up ridiculous excuse for a pizza!
Nope. After last night's order, we're done until they fix this mess.

I hadn't ordered Papa Johns for at least a couple of years or longer. We were in the mood for something different and remembered that Papa Johns was always good in the past. We ordered 2 pizzas and an order of boneless chicken wings. This was by far the worst pizza we've ever had, and I don't even have words for the chicken. We ended up throwing everything in the trash. What a waste of money. FYI...something has to be really, really bad for me to take time out of my day to write a review. This was really, really bad. Never again.

I am beyond disgusted with the Papa John's Pizza in Kelowna, BC (Rutland)...

After a previous unsatisfactory order, my girlfriend and I were given a code for a free pizza. We decided to use it after a long day of work, thinking it would save us the hassle of making a late dinner. I placed the order online at 12:15 AM, and according to the tracker, the pizza was done and ready for pickup.

My girlfriend drove to the location, only to find the doors locked, the lights off, and not a single person in sight. She called me, confused and upset while I double checked the tracker. It still said the pizza was ready, then the page refreshed and a messaged appeared stating the order was cancelled, and

It wasn’t even 1 AM... and that being said, the experience was a complete let down and a waste of our time and gas. We weren’t even notified that the order had been cancelled or that we couldn’t order that late. No courtesy call, no heads-up, absolutely nothing.

When I sent in a complaint, the response from the manager was the final straw. Not only was he rude and dismissive, but he offered zero apology and showed no interest in fixing the situation. His email was outright insulting, leaving me disgusted by the treatment I received.

I replied asking if he could at leaste offer us another coupon code to reorder, and he replied back stating that he has done all that he could do and refused to give another code to reorder the pizza we never received in the first place.

This level of customer service is appalling and completely unacceptable.

I will never order from Papa John’s again. Having worked in the food service industry myself, I understand the importance of going above and beyond for customers. My team and I were properly trained to deliver customer service that was not only professional but also memorable and positive. Sadly, it’s clear those days of true customer care are long gone.
