WTF Was That
Colchester branch, half the pizza was Garden Party, the other half was tomato puree and dough only. Looked like it was made by a drunk person who was visually impaired.
It can't be hard to make a pizza (and actually slice it properly).
Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service
Food is gorgeous
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Told my delivery was 10 mins away. 2 hours later still no sign. Unbelievably rude on the phone as well
Avoid
Avoid! Served uncooked food and tampered with boxes. Came with the quality sticker unsealed and 90 mins late. Reported to food standards agency for unsafe standards
Stop using uber.

disgusting change in cheese
What is going on, I have ordered their pizzas for years ..just recd one and its so greasy its like a bad Dominoes pizza..phoned shop and they told me the cheese has been changed to a cheaper one which is cheddar based..cheddar gives off oil when heated !!!!!! mozzarella doesn't.. The pizza was disgusting and such a waste of money as after a couple of bites I threw it in the bin.. Sad to say I will never order from this company again.
order 28360 from Bognor Regis
UPDATE.. following complaint I was offered a £20 voucher for a replacement pizza. I politely declined and advised them that whilst the revolting cheese mix is used I will never use Papajohns ever again.. I hope their profit margins warrant loosing customers, I would rather have paid more fore something I could eat.
Banstead should be closed!
Banstead should be closed. Regularly late and cold. Latest fiasco - called after an hour to be told Uber driver wasn’t available, but don’t worry Pizza was ready 20mins earlier and was being kept warm (dehydrating) sitting on the oven. Asked when the driver would be available….”don’t know”
Shut this place down now.
Ely PappaJohns
Ely PappaJohns. Awful. Placed an order said delivery 5.40 - 6pm no delivery called at 6.50for them to say has been cancelled as they don't deliver to my area even though i had a delivery two weeks prior. They then put the phone down.
Will not be ordering from them again, shocking service. Stay away from the Ely store.

I've been ordering papa Jonhs and going for the last 3 years as I loved the taste of it but today I've ordered garlic bread, chicken wings and a pizza .The pizza and the food took a hour and a half to arrive. When the food arrived it was freezing cold I didn't even get a apologie from the delivery man, when I took a bite into the food it had tasted as if it was waiting for me to open for hours when I had opened it as soon as it arrived.I will never be going to papa John's again and hope you shouldn't to because it wouldn't be something that you would enjoy after a long shift or ordering for your children.

Purchased a pizza + garlic bread through online portal (uppingham road, Leicester branch). Paid >£26. No reference to any 60% off offer if over £20. Went to collect, and leaflets all over for tgeoffer. Was told could not be applied retrospectively.
Awful fod, awful delivery, awful service, awful complaint process
I ordered a pizza, waited for over an hour watching the tracker with it on "In the oven". I tried calling a number of times before giving up and assuming the place might just be shut and decided to chase up my refund the next day. But the pizza did eventually arrive an hour later, about half an hour after i'd already ordered froma local pizza place and successfully received the new pizza and sat down to eat it. The Papa Johns Pizza came cold like it had just been sat out for ages, the delivery driver didn't even want to be buzzed in to drop it off at the next door in front of him, and i've just given up on the papa johns complaints process as now the question is "Did you take the pizza though". Of course i took the damn pizza, i'd paid for it at that point.
They now gone and closed the complaint so i can confidently say i'll never order Papa Johns Pizza again and will be making sure to always steer my friends to other services in the future.
Cold pizza delivered and called a liar and theft by the girl at the shop
I ordered a pizza and two sides from Papa Johns Bath Street Leamington Spa at 22.11 last night using asap and the pizza arrived just warm at 22.45. Usually you cannot touch the bottom of the box. I rejected it, at which the Über driver started arguing with me that it was hot and would not have any of it. I ended up rejecting it telling the driver it was cold and to return it back to the shop. He told me to phone the shop. I phoned the shop and spoke to a girl who was rude and accused me of theft that I wanted another free pizza. She also called me a liar. I told her that her driver had the order but she refused to replace the order or give me a refund and put the phone down on me.
Papa johns Hinckley terrible
Papa johns Hinckley terrible, charged us £23 for some miserable guy to give us a £5 Morrisons pizza, thief’s papa johns
I will NEVER order again
This happened with an online order from the Swinton (Manchester) store but apparently it's company policy not to deliver to flat's doors even if you live in the safest area.
They have no disclaimer on the site (or at least a visible one), you get charged for delivery (because nowadays you pay for delivery) and they refuse to deliver. Who cares if the customer has a broken leg or any other mobility issues, right?
Order placed at 20:16, driver on the street at 21:02, drive refuses to deliver the food to the paying customer's door and while I'm addressing the subject with the store manager, drive drops the food somewhere on the street, leaves and marks it at delivered, manager refuses to refund because it has been "delivered", then offers to do a 2nd delivery by 22:15 as long as the customer finds a way to go outside and the store manager switched off the call while I was still talking to him. The "2nd" delivery ended up occurring at 21: 56 (1h40 after being placed) and the driver came to the flat's door without me even asking (after it's possible).
Considering they have the cheapest deals of the big 3 (when they used to be standard for quality and the more expensive), it's no wonder they are struggling to keep their doors open. And all I wanted was a relaxed night after a long week at work.
By the way, the cheesy potato tots with bacon that costs £7 had 3 little bits of bacon (probably the size of a nail on the smaller finger).
I was forced to accept this and eat that late but I will never order from Papa John's ever again.
Bad,bad,bad,bad,bad
Awful experience. Ordered at 1700 not a busy time! Delivered 2 hours later by uber. On the app the uber driver took 7 minutes so why was my pizza cold and doughy and very undercooked? Tried ringing many times but nobody picked up. I cannot express enough to avoid this pizza takeaway. Worst food in the area!
Nice pizza but instructions for…
Nice pizza but instructions for delivery in capital letters ignored
Terrible Customer Service
I ordered my pizza and side on line for collection at the Gerrards Cross franchise store and received notification it was ready. I also ordered my Uber to get me home to coincide with my picking my food up, but when I got there they had forgotten the roast chicken wings and they initially denied this, until I showed my order plus I pointed out they had charged for them. By the time the assistant had cooked the wings, I was being charged waiting time by my Uber who even threatened to leave without me. In the end the wings were only partly cooked and were lukewarm and my pizza had gone cold waiting for the side to be cooked. The staff told me I would have to discuss a refund with the store owner who I was told wasn’t regularly at the branch but they wouldn’t give me his contact details either. I was so angry I reported it on the Pappa Johns customer service site and today received a reply asking if I had gone back to the store to report the experience and they also asked me to send them photographic evidence of the food in question !! Extraordinary .. how do I show a photo of cold food ? This is terrible customer service from the branch and the head office . My advice is steer clear of Papa John’s they don’t care
