Absolutely awful
Absolutely awful. Booking a cab via this company does not mean its guaranteed. This company are trying to redefine what booking means. If you book a restaurant table and turn up and they say sorry, We're giving the table away, how would you feel? If you have an appointment or train to catch or any other time based deadline them avoid! This company should not be in business. We rang them after a failed booking and they where so rude it's unbelievable!! Avoid! Avoid! Save your self a load of grief and go Uber.

As far as they're concerned it's a service you need and service has nothing to do with it.
Drivers change their mind, cancel with no warning, go home after accepting your request and the people in the office couldn't care less!

Very good and reliable, good prices. The only thing is automatic booking that is absolute rubbish, I would prefer to talk to a human.
Not fit for purpose
Veezu order 024554 I ordered a taxi at least an hour before to pick me up at 6.55pm At first it seemed one was on its way but that turned into asap.I phoned about 6.30 and was told about 10 or 12 minutes.A car eventually came just before 7.I was going to Norwich St which is has to be accessed via Bateman St from Hills Rd as it is one way.There are roadworks at the entrance to Norwich St but coming out into Hills Rd is still possible.The driver didn’t seem to know that Norwich St was one way and seeing the roadworks drove past saying he couldn’t take me to my destination.We had passed Bateman St so I decided as I was so late the only thing to do was to get out and walk back to my destination .My mobility is not good so this added to a very unsatisfactory experience.
Appalling service
Appalling service. Booked a cab the day before to take us to the train station and it didn't turn up. When we chased they said it was agreed on a best endeavors basis with no guarantee of a cab. We missed the train, found an alternative and they called us an hour and fifteen minutes after the cab was due to see if we still wanted it! Avoid.

Failed to turn up to take a friend to an emergency dental appointment yesterday, told me this morning that the driver cancelled the fare as they wouldn’t make any money from us 🤬
After using this company for many many years, I will never use or recommend them again.

I am absolutely appalled and frustrated by the service that I have just received.
I got a call from a number which I picked up and the man (the cab driver) over the phone told me that my cab was outside. I was extremely confused and concerned as I was driving and hadn’t ordered a cab.
I said that maybe someone had used my account and I could find out for him. (At this point I thought it was my sister using my device, someone hacked into my account or it was a scam). He then proceed to raise his voice at me, telling me that I shouldn’t give my details out as it could go against my account. This speech went on for a good 5 minutes and I listened to what he was saying as I understand that this can be frustrating for drivers. When I asked him to speak more politely, he proceeded to continue his speech about how it’s important to have accurate customer details still with his voice raised.
I then said that I could find out if anyone had ordered a cab in 2 seconds and he said that I had 30 seconds in a snarky tone. Still trying to get some information, I asked him which cab service this was to which he and “Panther cabs. The best one in Colchester”. (I think not). He continued his lecture on how I shouldn’t give out my account to which I started to also raise my voice and I was confused about who he thinks he is talking to. The cab driver grew louder and louder until so decided to end the call on him whilst he was speaking because I was trying to help him but he just wouldn’t listen.
In the end I called Panther and told them the situation. To be fair to the handler, he was nice and apologised for the cab drivers actions. I explained that there was no need to be nasty, especially since I was willing to apologise if there had been a mistake or misunderstanding.
No person should have to sit on the phone with a service provider and be screamed at. I explained to the cab driver that if he had been nice in the first place, then there wouldn’t be an issue but he kept becoming more defensive. It’s disgusting the way that they think they can speak to people.
I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Although I haven’t used this company in over a year, I will never use it again. The driver even made a snarky comment about this saying that if I get my account banned, then I wouldn’t be able to use their services again like he was providing a 5 star service. Like I would want to ever order a cab from you guys again…I’d rather walk. If you want kind, reliable and fast service please use Uber and save yourself screaming at cab drivers for something that wasn’t even your fault
Very poor service from Panther Cabs
Very poor service from Panther Cabs. We booked a taxi to pick us up at Stansted and they were 45 minutes away when we had landed and cleared customs. We had to wait approx 50 mins at midnight at Standted and when the driver arrived he spoke very little English,was muddled about where to meet us and gave no apology or explanation. Never again.
Unfortunately, Panther taxis are becoming worse and worse.
I have used Panther taxis since the 80s when I was a student at the university here in Cambridge. Until about seven years ago their service was exemplary. Unfortunately, it is progressively getting worse. They have become unreliable (see below). Also, you cannot find a pet friendly taxi nor can you pre-book one as they never know when one will be available.So attending vet appointments is a hit-and-miss affair!
This Tuesday I had booked a 04:40 taxi (the previous day for the train station for a guest who was going to Stansted to catch a flight. At 4:38 I called them and they said the taxi will be 15 minutes late. I explained that there was a train to catch and they said it is too early to find available cabs!! It was clear that they had botched up the booking as the initial notification was for a Grey (other model) and after my call the notification was for a white mercedes. And this is not the first time this has happened as a similar situation arose when I pre-booked to go to work in May and was late due to the same turnout of events. Not to mention the ridiculous change of the well-known and loved name Panther to Veezu! What possesssed them??! That alone is a turn-off if ever there was one.

Terrible company call and hope when they might show up there app hopless can't even see names of roads times on it are a joke forget app no help what so ever don't no what's happened to them only use them when user are to busy option 1 talk to driver they answer but don't talk have to get office to connect you to many south camps drivers doing it

Unreliable - avoid
Unreliable. Didn’t turn up for job booked 20 hours ahead in a country village. Avoid unless you want to be stranded.
Panther Taxis did not even phone to say it couldn’t find a driver so I could find an alternative.
Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful. Ordered a cab at the station at 1615, told had to wait 30 mins, OK. So after 35 mins I receive a text saying my taxi had arrived. No taxi. Eventually got through to an operator who said they got mixed up and would be with me soon, I assumed they were at the wrong side of the station. Then got a ring notification, the taxi was at my house. Rang 15 mins later asking how long I would have to wait, they said no taxis available and noone wanted to come to the station as traffic too heavy! Eventually I was in luck as someone was leaving Coggeshall in a cab to the station so I could have that one. My taxi Eventually arrived at 6pm, 1 hr and 4t mins after my first call. Never again!! Have save another firm's number to my phone now.

If I could give zero stars I would. Booked more than an hour in advance. On a special occasion. Stand outside in the middle of nowhere waiting. Only to be told the driver is 15 to 20 mins away. Ended up being nearly half a hour in the end. Then find out the driver who was allocated the pick up took another job before us and the Main office has no power to stop this as all drivers are now self employed. Was hubbys birthday dinner spoilt by ending up standing in the dark and wet Waiting. For a driver who decided we weren’t worth it. Won’t be using Panther again
Let Down after a Long Flight
After a 17-hour flight from Australia to Heathrow, the Panther Cabs taxi ordered for 6.30 a.m. did not turn up. On phoning them, I was told there was a problem and suggested I wait and buy a cup of coffee. The taxi arrived shortly before 10 a.m.! What should have been a straight forward journey turned into a nightmare. This should not have happened to anyone, especially to an 87-year-old man.
Looking at the other awful Panther Cab reviews, I realise what a mistake I made booking with them.
SO UNRELIABLE DRIVER
So unreliable! I book my taxi and took me long to wait. The driver took advantage of delaying me. He says 10 minutes then 8 minutes. I rang their office and said they will send new taxi for 2-3 minutes. I waited and waited then panther told me that they spoke to the driver his on his way with the same driver who say the same his on his way! I ended up 8:06 been over half an hour waiting and I cancelled my booking as this is just ridiculous! 7:24 -8:06 waiting is too long to take the pissed. Please be aware about this guys! Drivers should be not accepting job to do if they cannot be reliable! Even the driver did not apologised to me. I’m really angry. I wasted time and my work that starts at 8 am I so late and informed my colleagues.
