RUDE SALE EXPERIENCE @ GRAND DESIGNS EXPO
I've been looking at these chesterfields for quite a while online to finish off the lounge in our newly renovated £2.5m house on the Hampshire South coast. I went to grand designs expo to not only see the sofa range in person but to look at a new £70k swimming pool. Unbelievably I was actually told by a very rude sales man to get off the sofa I was trying out for comfort that there were others round the corner I could sit on if I wanted to take the weight of my feet. Apparently he's been in the business a long time and knows a time waster when he sees one. How rude. I would never buy anything from this company. I did purchase the pool, build to commence later this year and a spontaneous purchase of garden furniture. I got the train back to Haslemere where I'd left my new Aston DBX and headed to my beautiful home. Good luck with the business but you won't be getting any sales from me! AVOID!!

If that's what he's like when trying to sell, can't imagine what the company would be like if you have a problem.
Avoid like the plague. Plenty of other amazing retailers and better quality furniture available.
Yes I did receive your email and now you are being much nicer because of this genuine review and trying to discredit it because I decided to share my experience. If you don't remember being this awful to us then I can only assume it is common!

You have to leave one star or you can’t leave a review!! Girl on phone is no help and still no chair after weeks of waiting! Very poor customer service
Chair finally arrived 8weeks after order and to be honest it’s not worth the money as it’s not comfortable at all, I would NEVER recommend the company or would I ever buy a sofa and chair again online!

Worst customer experience
I would seriously reconsider purchasing furniture from this company if there is a small chance the product won't be what you want and need to return.
The sofa we purchased was returned because it was not comfortable and we therefore organised and paid ~£200 for this to be returned by a courier.
We expected our refund within 14 working days and were lenient with time expected due to the Christmas holidays. However, once I hadn't heard or received a refund after four weeks I was getting increasingly concerned. I emailed requesting an update with no response so had to call many times, leave voice messages without any success. It took me and my partner to threaten court action before our refund was processed the following week. It was stressful and didn't have to be that way. Another dissatisfaction is the 25% restocking fee they will apply and deduct from the refund which meant overall we lost £800 in returning the sofa.
We will take this as a lesson learnt but the entire experience of needing to chase for the refund over several weeks was totally unacceptable for a business such as this with no formal apology or compensation for the stress and frustration caused.

They assembled the chair and asked us to check condition and explained things to us nicely. Also coped beautifully with the big excitable dog we had for that day. They didn't rush the job despite being on the road for a week and this was final delivery..Well done.

Poor customer service and quality
I purchased a three seater and two seater sofa. The overall quality I would say is reasonable, but I had a faulty seat cushion and after agreeing to send a replacement seat cushion they never did, so I am left with a wonky looking sofa. Several phonecalls and emails over 12 months and I have consistently been ignored. Please send me the replacement! Thank you, Nasser

Excellent quality and service.
The guys at Pablo and Oswald sent us free swatches of material and let us visit their factory to see an example of the chairs we wanted to buy. They told us all about the manufacturing process and the company history, and we saw their furniture being made. They said they would try to get the chairs to us before Christmas, and they did do. Our chairs are superb quality, and are beautiful pieces if furniture. The delivery guys arranged a time and stuck to it, they brought the chairs in, unwrapped them and put legs on, and took all the packaging away. Really good service and a great customer experience from start to finish.

Comfortable and gorgeous
We wanted to replace our tired but well loved sofas. After spending an unsuccessful day going from store to store we decided to look online. Oswald & Pablo website is wonderful, really easy to navigate and prices clearly shown. The sofa and chair we chose are absolutely beautiful and we love that because each is individually made that the patchwork might be unique to us. We were kept well informed about the delivery and within 6 weeks we were admiring the new seating in our own living room. They are both comfortable and gorgeous. We would 100% recommend!
