On 26/03, Orange carried out work on the network, and we have had no internet since then. Despite promises from customer service to fix it nothing has happened. However, the monthly subscription costs... See more
On Saturday, April 4, 2026, I visited the Orange store in Olivet, Loiret, France, to buy a mobile phone. I chose this store not because it was the cheapest—quite the opposite—but because I am disabled... See more

You can cut off your customers when…
You can cut off your customers when they complain about terrible service on theninstallation of fibre, or you can help resolve the issue. Problem is, you put the phone down, then your customers forward the complaint to the consommateurs in France to resolve. You arebusing substandard companies to install fibre into our villages. They are forcing customers to spend money with external companies when there is no issue with the line to the pole in the road. No one takes responsibility for these inexperienced companies and telecom companies have been getting away with substandard work for too long! How many rdv’s does it take an engineer to install fibre when we and the neighbours can feed a cable through no problem. Bunch of cowboy technicians, plain and simple!
Rude service
Rude service. Don’t waste your money. There’s free wifi around , makes it fairly easy to avoid their horrible arrogant workers who ignore you and talk about you as they know you can’t understand.

Attention Orange pour le raccordement a la fibre .
très mauvais non compètent au téléphone .
Facturation abusives et technique de ventes douteuses.
Don't lose your receipt if you post equipment to Orange. They may lose the equipment and fine you.
The Orange shop at Coudoulet was more than happy to sell me 1300 euros of phones, but less than happy to provide customer care. Along with my purchase, I eceived a new model of a Livebox, and understood that I had to return the old one - which I did. Three weeks later, Orange sent me an email threatening me with a penalty of 100 euros if I didn't return the old model. I asked the staff at Coudoulet to resolve this error, on my behalf, and showed them my proof that I had indeed retrned the equipent. They were either unable or unwilling to resolve the issue for me, but instead redirected me to the Orange web site. I expected better. It's called 'customer service'.

Orange in France is an absurdity
Orange in France is an absurdity! The customer service in Cluses is appalling and the stress we have gone through is totally unacceptable. We had a box that was broken for 9 months but the engineer that visited told us that it was a problem with the line. We eventually took it to the shop and they finally admitted that the box was faulty. My husband then returned to buy a new phone. This was a refurbished one and again we realised that this was faulty. When he returned to the shop he was not allowed to upgrade as the faulty one had to be sent away leaving him with no phone! No one cares about us as customers and because we have a 12 month contract we’re not allowed to stop this either! The stress has been enormous as we have businesses to run. Can anyone give advice on how to move to another provider as it feels like we have a prison sentence with this awful awful company!
OMG.. discussing
OMG... I just called Orange to report a technical problem with my line.... I'm with sfr for my fix, but they have told me it's a problem with Orange for repairing the line... The very ignorant woman would not listen to my actual problem.told me to contact SFR... I told her they've said the problem is with orange... She hung up !!!!!!!!! Terrible service, would not listen, just kept talking over me.... Disgusting human contact..
Racism in Orange France Shop
My elderly sister who has just lost her husband and now trying to do things on her own booked an appoint at the orange shop in Lalinde to find out more about the fibre network. She asked to speak to someone who spoke some english as although she gets by on a day to day basis she struggles with technical french / The person at the desk shouted at her that this was a french company and she needs to speak french in front of about 10 customers in the shop and when she said advisors normally spoke english to her was told we don't speak english we are french. She showed him the questions she wanted to ask and he said you need to come back with a french speaker and went onto deal with the next customer. She felt really humiliated in front of all the people in shop and he was very loud and aggressive. She ran out of the shop and cried all the way home. This completely unacceptable - to whom can I make a complaint?
Slow internet connection
Slow internet connection, various bugs, hard to reach customer service... not at the level of 2023
Impossible to report a line fault at weekends
I had a tree fall (not one of mine), which took out my fibre optic cable in a storm on Saturday. When I went onto the Orange website, the only method of telling them about a fault is to use their Artificial Unintelligent Chatbot called Django. Even converting all requests to French, you cannot obtain a sensible answer to your query. It used to be much easier under France Telecom, who provided an excellent fault reporting service.
These Chatbots just support the service providers not customers and are merely a way of reducing contacts and support staff.
Their phone contacts do not work at weekends, so presumably Orange have found a way of preventing storms at weekends! Also no email addresses!!
Worst customer service in the world
Worst customer service in the world, a nightmare, I have been paying my fees in time, no problem whatsoever, low debit but it's okay, one day they cut off my internet for no reason at all, 4 days already still waiting for soemone to show up, been paying for internet from my own pocket, 40 min on the line for someone to hang up on you, managed to speak with one supervisor called youssef who lied to me and never called me back. A nightmare
This is an update of a previous review
This is an update of a previous review. Last week we were explicitly told that service would resume October 3rd. This was a guaranteed by an agent at the Orange Boutique in Quimper. We have not had internet, telephone nor TV service here in Brittany since July. We have just been informed that service will now be restored October27th. The date for the reconnection of services has changed constantly since the interruption commenced in July. The incompetence of this corporation is just amazing.
Following on: our Nightmare continues
Following on: the technician did not arrive on the next date as told to me. Then I received a message that the line would be reconnected with a fibre line on the 3rd August. I travelled to Magalas from the UK to be there when it was installed. IT WAS INSTALLED. I waited a few days and then returned the AIRBOX given to me (on the 8th July) to the Auchan Orange shop in Beziers on the 7th August, as I was told to do. I was looked after by a blonde female assistant who seemed very competent who issued me with a certificate of return of the Airbox. I asked her how I was to be reimbursed for all the costs I'd encountered during the previous 7 weeks. She told me to call the Orange English Line (see later).
On the 4th October we received a demand to return the Airbox, and that if we didn't return the item by the 4th November we would be charged €49!!!
We looked to reply to the 4th Oct email but that is impossible. They have a useless BOT called djingo which soon has you going in circles. There is no way of directly contacting Orange. So I telephoned the Orange English Line.
As regards the reimbursement I telephoned the English line. I explained my costs and the assistant said they would pay me €80 (which barely covered the 2 x €38.99 fees I'd paid while we had no wifi). Frustrated I asked about the other costs I'd incurred. His reaction was 'OK, €100', take it or leave it. Then 3 weeks later we received a bill for €69 for installation of the line. A line that had to be installed by them anyway since the 15th June. We are appealing.
Useless service support
No internet for a month despite hours spent on the phone and on the chat. 5 interventions of technicians where nobody showed up, wasting my days to wait for them. Everytime the promise that it will be fixed "next week". The "assigned" person on the file always calls on work hours without a warning and leaves a message starting with "I still couldn't join you". Absolutely no information about what is going on... Outrageous support that went downhill since a few years. I will change operator as soon as the line is repaired, if it is one day...
Totally abysmal service
Totally abysmal service. You have to wait ages to speak to their helpline. When / if you finally get through I am afraid they are either incompetent or sometimes just very rude. Sorry Orange, but you are absolutely useless !!
Orange has let us down again
Orange has let us down again. This time they went to our neighbours to install new internet and damaged our line in the process. Numerous calls to call them back to rectify THEIR mistake have so far proved fruitless. The incompetence and total lack of interest in their PAYING customers is breathtaking. As soon I get my internet restored I will be changing providers. Currently I have no internet ony 4g so cannot research others. If you are thinking of signing up to Orange save yourself lots of trouble and go elsewhere. The company is rotten through and through.
Purchased the tourist pre-paid Sim
Purchased the tourist pre-paid Sim. Absolutely no where on the external package did it indicate that it was limited to 14 days - this is only discovered in to documentation inside the package, at which point the product is non refundable. Competitors offers the same data/price for the full month, so Orange was not off to a great start. What was really frustrating however, was the absolutely appallingly slow mobile data throughput Paris.. struggled to open standard webpages at the best of times. Could not be more disappointed.
Abysmal service abysmal company
In all my life I have never before received such abysmal service as I have received from orange. They were installing wifi on the house next door and I’m so doing, cut us off. I immediately phoned them via a friend who speaks perfect French. They said they would send someone round two days later and I had to be in between 3-6 pm. I duly did this and no one came. It transpired they went to the wrong house!! I now have to wait a week before they can come again. When you speak to them you are met with a wall of indifference. I am going to have to wait ten days in total for a mistake they made. I shall be changing providerASAP.
Paid 50 euro for nothing
Paid 50 euro for phone service, didnt receive a single minute of service and we’re over a week in the country. No one wants to help (not in the store, online, on the phone, etc) and now theyre ghosting me when they agreed I should get a refund.
