I am an administrator of a handful of domains. They are now forcing us to work and update while permitting them to do what it is they want us to do, some kind of setting of some PHP version on each domain. They are taking us hostage, and demanding USD 29 per month if we, who have not asked them to give us "Extended PHP support" are doing some complicated setting and spending our time on this. They have this modern style AI-edited sweet-talk, but behind the scene, we are forced to sit and do updates, or pay an exorbitant price for what they want us to do. Here is their emails, where they excuse themselves that oooh there is security issues, and oooh, technical issues.
I have written to them that they can upgrade or not, do what ever they want, because I do not have the time or technical insight to deal with this, and I do not get paid for all these instigated things they want done.
Here is their writing. Outrageous and unacceptable. We are terminating with them unless they go back to former times much more friendly and non-interfering ways of hosting. Yak.

I’m afraid I can’t change the PHP version or disable PHP Extended Support from here, even with your permission. For security and technical reasons, the system only allows you to change PHP from your Control Panel. That’s why the add-on clearly states: “Customer must upgrade PHP in Control Panel… This service can NOT be credited.”
You can update each affected domain (dash.yt, rain.yt, choop.one, oco.energy, skyfi.energy, skyfi.zone) like this:
Go to (trustpilot disallow links) and log in.
Open Advanced settings → PHP (& subdomains).
For each (sub)domain that still shows an Expired PHP version, click Edit.
Select the PHP version marked Latest stable.
Click Update.
Once all (sub)domains on a domain use a supported version, PHP Extended Support for that domain is removed automatically and no new charges will be created.
At the moment there are still unpaid PHP Extended Support invoices on your account:
39.95 USD in total (5 × 7.99 USD)
138.00 DKK in total (2 × 69.00 DKK)
These amounts are still due and I’m not able to cancel or credit them because of the terms of that add-on.

Så mangler vi kun at I betaler for at spilde min tid. Jeg har spurgt hvor jeg skal sende fakturaen hen.
I opfinder pludselige charges, one.com, og så skal man pludselig bruge timevis på et arbejde man ikke får betaling for, og man skal igennem trakasserier med jeres administration.
Engang var one.com et godt sted hvor tingene bare kørte. Vi betalte vort abonnement, og alt var stabilt.
Nu er det sådan at man ikke kan vide om en service man har betalt for via abonnement forbliver del af abonnementet. I fortsætter abonnementet og pludselig kan man kun lave restore hvis man betaler ekstra.
Man har en editor til at lave web pages, og pludselig skal man nu betale for at bruge den.
Man anvender Php, of pludselig finder I på at det skal koste noget bare at køre videre.
Fortsæt endelig, one.com, inden jeg for over 20 år siden skiftede til jer fordi I havde en helt enkel hosting model der bare virkede, hostede jeg selv. Det er vel der vi skal hen igen hvis det her fortsætter.
Afslutningsvis, Michael, så får du det til at lyde som om at løsningen kom fra jer? Som om Amanda hjalp mig? Men nej det gjorde hun ikke. Efter at have brugt en masse tid på at prøve at få jer til bare at opgradere var jeg nødt til at bruge yderligere tid på at finde ud af hvordan dette skulle gøres.
Så det har stadig ikke været nogen god oplevelse. Jeg har brugt timer på det her, og jeg ønsker at vide hvor jeg sender fakturaen hen.
Nå ja, I kalder det en sikkerhedsting at I ikke kan opgradere. Det er jo løgn. Jeg skrev til jer at I bare kan opgradere. Men nææh. Det var stadig en sikkerhedsting. Løgn og latin, fup og gamle aviser.
Så kære one.com, jeg synes at I skulle se til at få fundet kundeservice frem igen, finde en stabil konto form for os der ikke gider hele tiden at skulle hives rundt i manegen af trusler og som bare vil hoste en række sites.
Jeg kører jo omkring 40+ sites hos jer nu, for andre, og jeg tjener minimalt på dette hvilket er ok da der ikke er meget arbejde. Indtil I laver rav i den med alle jeres pludselige tvangsændringer der sjovt nok altid koster penge og som vi ikke har bedt om.
