After exhausting research and getting competitive bids we decided on Olshan to repair our home’s pier and beam foundation. Our rep Jason came to our home and did a thorough evaluation. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly genuine.
Olshan was also able to expedite our repair as requested.
On Monday Christan’s team arrived bright and early as requested and proceeded to work like a well oiled machine. I was told the job would take 3 or 4 days and true their word it was completed in 3.
The entire time the crew worked there was never a mess and when they completed the job you could not tell they were ever there.
We are extremely pleased with the high quality of expertise and craftsmanship that Olshan provided.
I would highly recommend them for any foundation repairs.

Matt Neal was an excellent salesperson. He took the time to review the estimate we received from another company and explained that the work they recommended was unnecessary. Instead, he suggested addressing the drainage issue at the front of our home, which he felt was the true cause of the problem and a much more practical solution.

The employees were all very professional and courteous.

We had 3 floor drains with sump pumps installed inside our business entry doors, due to flooding during heavy rains. The work was completed in 1 day as quoted, a longer than normal day but not bad. Had 1 issue, partly due to a language barrier, but it was resolved and repaired, thank you guys for putting up with me. All came out very well done.

Sean was straightforward and honest in his assessment explaining that the work I needed was more suited to heavy equipment/tractor work. Recently bought home. Needed foundation work and was under warranty by Olshan. I was initially told to wait 3 months to adjust piers (never a year). Delayed renovations. After 3 months, only then given a proposal for > $20K to add more piers and raise all piers. I declined and I'm now being held hostage to either pay the $20K or wait a year before Olshan will adjust the piers. Ridiculous. Malicious lies and greed.

Professionalism at its finest! Our sales rep, Cory, was honest and straightforward about our situation. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done, and how it was to be done. We contracted with Olshan to have the work completed. Fast forward to the day of the job: The crew was amazing! Edgar, Chris, Douglas, Sergio, Alex, and Jasson have extensive knowledge in their field. Edgar and Chris (the leads in this crew) took time to explain the scope of work before the job started, as well as after completion. Edgar and Chris are true gentlemen in every aspect. It was a pleasure to have met them and the crew, and I hope they know how much they are appreciated. Thank you!

John Garcia showed up today in Mansfield, Tx to finish the work Olshan Foundation Solutions did in repairing my foundation. John and his crew (Everado, Juanito, Don Jose, and Chon) did a great job with my gutter drainage to protect my foundation. They were fast, efficient, and creative. They explained their work to me, answering all of my questions. When finished, they cleaned up their work and left the dirt around my foundation in great shape! I would highly recommend Olshan Foundation Solutions to anyone needing their services.

Do not get fooled by the “professional” sales people at Olsan. They will lie and tell you whatever you want to hear to get your commitment, but they have ZERO follow through on their commitments. We spent over $25k with them and had to call over and over again to get a response after the job was “finished”. When we finally got ahold of our contact and asked him about the commitment they made he said “I cannot remember all the things I say all day”. He never owned up to what he said they would do and everything he said before the job was started was in front of me and my husband. We both recall the conversation clearly, but the Olsan guys essentially called us liars. We’ve also had a small drain top break that they installed and we need it replaced, which we would pay for, but again, we cannot get anyone to follow up. Worst company I’ve EVER worked with.

The people I worked with were very helpful, very thoughtful, and very thorough. Had an amazing experience with them. Donovan was very friendly and supportive throughout the whole process. He explained what would happen and how long it would take. He was also able to answer every question we had and was easy to get in touch with after our visit.

All the men (Juan, Rudy, Genaro, Jorge, Fernando, Santos, and Tyler) were courteous, reliable, and hard working.

This company was fast and professional.

I had some concerns about my property and Dave Klotzbuecher came out to evaluate. He was very professional and did a great inspecting the property, ultimately determining that there were no foundation issues to be addressed.
Based on this experience, if I did encounter issues in the future, my first call would be to Dave / Olshan.

Technician was knowledgeable and professional.

UPDATE: They fixed it! It took a few phone calls up the chain of command after receiving an automatic "No," so I can't give the a higher rating than 3/5.

A 5 star company would have sent a rep out to see the problem after a single phone call. A 4 star company would have called to get ALL details of the problem before refusing.

I am grateful that they honored their "we stand by our work" sales pitch, eventually. I am just frustrated that it took so much back and forth to get someone out here to even look at it.

For the sake of continuity, I am leaving my original review copy below. Hopefully Olshan can use this experience to train or reinforce a more open minded approach to standing by their work in the future.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Warranties are not honored here. It has been less than a year since they raised the foundation of half of our house (about $24,000), and I found a problem while fixing my plumbing. They are refusing to come out and fix the issue, even saying that I could pay another $1,000 to have them install another pylon to fix the problem work that sits directly next to the pylon they installed. Between 2 installed pylons, so it is obviously a direct result of their work.

Obviously, I'm not doing that. I have no interest in giving more money to a company who refuses to stand by their own work.

The entire reason we went with Olshan (compared to other quotes as low as $15,000) is their assurance that they stand by their work, and they have been here for 80 years, so they will be here in the future for problems that arise with their work. It turns out this is not true.
