Avoid Oister Wifi

Happy with Oister as a provider for Mobile but the Oister Wifi is very disappointing. We live in Copenhagen and I can see the cell antenna out of the window where the 4G router is. Still, the highest speed I ever got was 80Mbps on a good day. On top of that, the connection resets multiple times per day, which makes working from home very unreliable.
I'm happy my 6 month binding period is over so I can go back to internet via cable.

Affordable and it just works

Affordable, practical and it just works, even in long term trips in the EU outside DK, my OiSTER account holds strong, great coverage all over. I've been a customer since November 2019. I once switched to another company but came back to OiSTER.

A good provider

I must apologize to Oister for my previous posts. The service is really excellent, and my mistake was that I abandoned the 5G router and used a regular one, designed only for 4G. Yes, I switched to another provider, and when I received their 5G router and inserted an Oister SIM card into it, everything worked perfectly. I will now recommend Oister to everyone I know to at least somehow atone for my guilt for my previous posts.

Oister has provided me with stable and…

Oister has provided me with stable and reliable coverage for my needs. However, they are not the cheapest provider out there, and they require NemID to log in to the self-service portal, which is unnecessarily inconvenient. Overall, I am satisfied with Oister, but they could improve by offering a more competitive price and making it easier to log in to their self-service portal.

Oister is the BEST
I have 2 Oister agreements and would never consider another Vendor. They always make it totally easy to deal with them and their online solutions are 100% the best in the business. From an internet user since 1992.

Unreachable customer support

Everything is pretty good, but trying to get in touch with them is quite impossible. 45 min. on the phone and I got tired of waiting someone to pick up. Just don't offer phone support if you don't have people on it. Is it that simple.

The SIM card did not arrive so…

The SIM card did not arrive and so I managed to solve the problem by creating an e-sim, before that I tried to get in touch via phone but due to waiting for 45 minutes I ended up giving up the subscription too. I still haven't fully understood this mystery of the card that never arrives, I worked at Postnord and they are super effective and serious, they would never throw the cards in the trash. If the cards are not delivered, look for other transport companies that are committed to delivering the cards on time. I tried to be your customer but unfortunately it wasn't this time.

I understand that it can be frustrating and inconvenient to be without a phone for such an extended period. I would like to investigate the situation and assist in resolving this issue as quickly as possible.

We send an email when the SIM card is dispatched, wherein we mention that you can expect to receive the SIM card within 2-5 business days. If you haven't received the SIM card within this timeframe, you should reach out to our customer service.

With that being said, I can understand your disappointment in not receiving your SIM card in a timely manner! It's definitely not our intention for our customers to end up without a SIM card.

We send out many SIM cards every single day, and it's incredibly rare for the SIM card not to arrive on time!

Could I ask you to send me an email at trustpilot@oister.dk, so I can check your order and make sure the SIM card is being sent to you? I'd also like to ensure that all necessary steps have been taken to avoid a similar situation in the future.

When I was looking for the internet

When I was looking for the internet, I found Oyster. I've checked the speed of the internet and there was up to 500 mb per second, but now it's no more than 2.5 mb per second. Can you, please, explain why have I paid for the normal internet but got the worse one? Sorry, if it is too aggressive, but that's awful!

It is correct that by using our 5G network, you can achieve download speeds over 500 Mbps. This requires using a device that is compatible with the 5G network.

If you have purchased an OiSTER WiFi subscription with the Huawei B535 router, it will be possible to connect to the 3G and 4G networks, along with the corresponding speeds of these networks.

Firstly, signal strength plays a significant role. If your device is far from the nearest mobile tower or in areas with poor coverage, it can affect the quality of the connection.

Additionally, network traffic load can vary throughout the day. During periods of high traffic, such as rush hours, multiple users sharing the network can result in slower speeds and instability.

Weather conditions can also impact the connection. Extreme weather conditions like storms, rain, or snow can temporarily affect the functioning of the mobile towers, thereby diminishing performance.

Lastly, building structures can also have an impact. Materials like concrete, metal, or windows with metallic coatings near your device can block or weaken the signal.

I'm very happy with OiSTER

I'm very happy with OiSTER. I have basically nothing to complain about: it works, it's cheap, there are no surprises. They are still the best value provider I have found in Denmark. They used to have some limited reception issues, but not anymore. Speed and reception are good nowadays. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that abroad there is often limited reception and network speed.

Never got a sim card

After two attempts and a month of waiting to get the sim card by mail I decided to switch to another company. Got a sim card from another company in 2 days. Now I regret even trying OiSTER because I spent a month paying a lot of money to use a phone service from my home country while waiting for a sim card.
